NCT05763758
This study aims to identify spatiotemporal alterations in thalamocortical circuitry functioning in both healthy subjects and patients with chronic pain, combining multimodal neuroimaging.
NCT03190473
Indication for use: "The Svelte DES is indicated for improving coronary luminal diameter in patients with symptomatic heart disease, including patients with non-ST elevation MI due to discrete de novo native coronary artery lesions. The treated lesion length should be less than the nominal stent length with a reference vessel diameter of 2.25 mm - 4.00 mm
NCT01222247
This is a randomized placebo controlled trial to evaluate whether antenatal corticosteroids can decrease the rate of neonatal respiratory support, thus decreasing the rate of NICU admissions and improving short-term outcomes in the late preterm infant. The use of antenatal corticosteroids has been shown to be beneficial in women at risk for preterm delivery prior to 34 weeks but has not been evaluated in those likely to deliver in the late preterm period
NCT01059500
Overtesting for Acute Coronary Syndrome(ACS) and Pulmonary Embolism (PE) in low risk Emergency Department(ED) patients can increase exposure of nondiseased patients to radiation, intravenous contrast and anticoagulation. This project addresses question of whether quantitative Pre-Test Probability(PTP) assessed from two validated web-based computer algorithms (the project "webtool"), can improve the diagnostic evaluation of adult patients with charted evidence of chest pain and dyspnea. After a validation phase, the main study will randomize patients to either the Standard care group or the Intervention group, which will receive the output of the ACS and PE webtool that includes the PTP estimates of ACS and PE and one of three recommendations regarding next steps: 1. No further testing, 2. Exclusion with a biomarker protocol, or 3. Immediate imaging +/- empiric anticoagulation.
NCT03060577
This clinical study was designed to assess the efficacy, safety, and tolerability of long-term dosing of inclisiran and evolocumab given as subcutaneous injections in participants with high cardiovascular risk and elevated low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C).
NCT04053673
RBN-2397 inhibits PARP7, an enzyme that is switched on by cancer stresses, such as the toxins in cigarette smoke. Cancer cells use PARP7 to hide from the immune system by stopping the cell from sending a signal (Type 1 interferon) that tells the immune system that something is wrong and to kill the cell. RBN-2397 has been shown in animal studies to inhibit tumor growth and also shuts down the "don't kill me" signal the tumor is sending to evade the immune system. As a PARP7 inhibitor RBN-2397 is different from drugs inhibiting PARP1, PARP2 and PARP3 enzymes which are approved for the treatment of certain ovarian and breast cancers. The primary purpose of this study is to determine the maximum tolerated dose (MTD) of orally administered RBN-2397 in patients with advanced or metastatic solid tumors. This study will also evaluate the safety and tolerability of RBN-2397, examine the pharmacokinetics (PK) (measure how the body absorbs, breaks down and eliminates RBN-2397) and investigate whether it has antitumor activity in solid tumor cancers.
NCT05094050
Parkinson's disease (PD) is a neurological condition, which means it affects the brain. This study will evaluate how ABBV-951 is absorbed under the skin of participants with PD when administered to arm, thigh and flank compared to the abdomen. ABBV-951 is an investigational drug being developed for the treatment of PD. Study doctors randomly assign participants to 1 of 4 groups, called treatment arms. Each treatment arm receives ABBV-951 administered in a different order in the arm, high, flank and abdomen. Approximately 12 adult participants over 30 years with a diagnosis of PD will be enrolled in approximately 10 sites in the United States. Participants will receive continuous (24hours/day) subcutaneous infusion of ABBV-951 for 2 consecutive days for each infusion site (arm, thigh, flank and abdomen), for a total duration of treatment up to 12 days. There may be higher treatment burden for participants in this trial compared to their standard of care. Participants will be confined at a hospital or clinic. The effect of the treatment will be checked by medical assessments, blood tests, checking for side effects and completing questionnaires. Adverse events will be monitored throughout the study.
NCT03482024
