NCT01375777
The primary objective was to evaluate the effect of 12 weeks of subcutaneous evolocumab (AMG 145) every 2 weeks (Q2W) or every 4 weeks (Q4W), compared with placebo, on the percent change from baseline in LDL-C when used as monotherapy in adults with hypercholesterolemia.
NCT00358215

NCT01099449
RATIONALE: Chemoprotective drugs, such as calcium gluconate and magnesium sulfate, may prevent neurotoxicity caused by oxaliplatin. It is not yet known which administration schedule of calcium gluconate and magnesium sulfate is more effective in preventing neurotoxicity. PURPOSE: This randomized phase III trial is studying different administration schedules of calcium gluconate and magnesium sulfate and comparing how well they work in neurotoxicity in patients with colon cancer or rectal cancer receiving oxaliplatin-based combination chemotherapy.
NCT03523923
The purpose of this study is to (1) test the benefits of the patient-centered collaborative care treatment approach for persons who have had a TBI and who have pain, including headache; and also (2) test whether this approach improves quality of life, patient satisfaction, adherence to other treatments, and quality of care in the TBI care system. This project uses the contextual paradigm of disability to analyze and improve outpatient treatment of pain, including headache, in people who have had a TBI. Issues of restricted access and health care system complexity likely contribute to sub-optimal treatment of chronic pain. Therefore, the investigators seek to enhance real-world outpatient healthcare delivery through a patient-centered, collaborative care approach to treating chronic pain. The intervention is structured to reduce pain interference directly and indirectly through improved management of pain and comorbid conditions (e.g., depression, anxiety, and sleep difficulties) that can amplify pain perception and disability. In addition, change in the system of care may reduce burden on the emergency department. The investigators have heard from our clinician and patient partners that poor pain management often leads to emergency department visits, and this has also been reported in the literature.
NCT02654132
The purpose of this study is to determine if adding Elotuzumab to Pomalidomide and low-dose dexamethasone is a more effective treatment of relapsed and refractory multiple myeloma compared to pomalidomide and low-dose dexamethasone by itself.
NCT04668950
The purpose of this research study is to determine if a drug called fluvoxamine can be used early in the course of the COVID-19 infection to prevent more serious complications like shortness of breath. Fluvoxamine is an anti-depressant drug approved by the FDA for the treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder. The use of fluvoxamine for the treatment of COVID-19 is considered investigational, which means the US Food and Drug Administration has not approved it for this use. This study is fully-remote, which means that there is no face-to-face contact; study materials including study drug will be shipped to participants' houses. People around the United States and Canada can participate.
NCT02808702
The purpose of this study is to determine whether neuroimaging-based markers of maladaptive self-focused processing are better predictors of treatment response to cognitive-behavioral therapy than behavioral markers.
NCT02811783
This multi-center, double-blind, vehicle-controlled, randomized crossover design study will evaluate the safety and efficacy of topically applied naloxone lotion, 0.5%, for the treatment of pruritus in patients with the mycosis fungoides (MF) or Sézary syndrome (SS) Forms of Cutaneous T-cell Lymphoma (CTCL). This study will also determine if there is systemic absorption of the drug in a subset of subjects and if so, describe the range and mean plasma levels reached after two weeks of three time daily (TID) dosing. NCT03027323
Undifferentiated hypotension is a medical emergency where a patient's blood pressure drops to critical levels due to several possible reasons. The medical staff treating the patient will need to find out the reason for your drop in blood pressure as soon as possible. When treating low blood pressure, the medical staff typically performs a procedure called central venous cannulation (CVC). CVC involves accessing a large vein (usually the subclavian under the collarbone) by inserting a needle into the vein. By doing this, the medical staff can measure the pressures in the patient's veins or give medicine to the patient while they are in the hospital. The purpose of this study is to compare the time needed to complete CVC using the AxoTrack device to CVC guided by landmarks on a patient's body. The investigators expect that there will be a maximum of 30 patients enrolled in this study.
NCT04450394
The reason for this study is to see if the study drug LY3209590 is safe and effective in participants with type 2 diabetes.
NCT01763866
The primary objective was to evaluate the effect of 12 weeks of evolocumab administered subcutaneously every 2 weeks (Q2W) and monthly (QM) when used in combination with a statin, compared with placebo, on percent change from baseline in low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) in patients with primary hypercholesterolemia and mixed dyslipidemia.
NCT01693783
This phase II trial studies how well ipilimumab works in treating patients with human papilloma virus (HPV)-related cervical cancer that has come back or that has spread to other areas of the body. Monoclonal antibodies, such as ipilimumab, can find tumor cells and help kill them or carry tumor-killing substances to them.
NCT04162769
The purpose of this study is to determine whether etrasimod is a safe and effective treatment for moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis (AD).
NCT03521934
Primary Objective: To compare the effect of sotagliflozin to placebo on the total occurrences of cardiovascular (CV) death, hospitalization for heart failure (HHF), and urgent visit for heart failure (HF) in hemodynamically stable participants after admission for worsening heart failure (WHF) Secondary Objectives: To compare the effects of sotagliflozin to placebo on: * The total occurrences of HHF and urgent visit for HF * The occurrence of CV death * The occurrence of all-cause mortality * The total occurrences of CV death, HHF, urgent visit for HF, non-fatal myocardial infarction (MI), and non-fatal stroke * Change in Kansas City Cardiomyopathy Questionnaire-12(KCCQ-12) score * Change in estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR)
NCT02483078
This is a Phase 2b/3, multi-center, two part study, designed to evaluate the efficacy, safety, and tolerability of PRO 140 in conjunction with existing ART (failing regimen) for one week and Optimized Background Therapy (OBT) for 24 weeks respectively. Study population includes treatment-experienced HIV-infected patients with CCR5-tropic virus who demonstrates evidence of HIV-1 replication despite ongoing antiretroviral therapy with documented genotypic or phenotypic resistance to ART drugs within three drug classes (or within two or more drug classes with limited treatment options). The options may be limited as a result of drug antiviral class cross-resistance or documented treatment intolerance.
NCT03011450
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of K-877 in adult patients With Fasting High Triglyceride Levels ≥500 mg/dL and \<2000 mg/dL and Mild or Moderate Renal Impairment.
NCT02066636
The purpose of this study is to estimate the incidence and characterize the outcome of high grade, select adverse events in subjects with advanced or metastatic NSCLC treated with Nivolumab.
NCT03712228
This is a multicenter, randomized, placebo-controlled, parallel-arm, phase 2 study to investigate the clinical efficacy, pharmacokinetics, and safety of CSL312 as prophylaxis to prevent attacks in subjects with HAE.
NCT03352557
The primary objective of the placebo-controlled period is to evaluate the safety and tolerability of BIIB092 in participants with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) due to Alzheimer's disease (AD) or with mild AD. The secondary objectives of the placebo-controlled period are to evaluate the efficacy of multiple doses of BIIB092 in slowing cognitive and functional impairment in participants with MCI due to AD or with mild AD, and to evaluate the immunogenicity of BIIB092 after multiple doses in participants with MCI due to AD or with mild AD. The primary objective of the long-term extension period is to evaluate the long-term safety and tolerability of BIIB092 in participants with MCI due to AD or with mild AD.
