NCT06465745
This is a prospective, single arm, multicenter, clinical trial designed to evaluate the safety and performance of the AltaValve System for the treatment of mitral regurgitation in a targeted patient population.
NCT05058846
This study investigates how often abnormal findings from routine magnetic resonance imaging occur in people with genetic mutations in BReast CAncer gene. (BRCA), ataxia telangiectasia mutated gene (ATM), or PALB2 screened for pancreatic cancer. This study may lead to a greater understanding of cancer and potentially, improvements in cancer screening and treatment.
NCT00447980
The purpose of this study is to look at the safety and effectiveness of CNTF implants on vision in persons with retinitis pigmentosa, Usher type II \& III, and Choroideremia. This research is being done because there are no effective therapies for people with these retinal degenerations. They are genetic disorders that affect one's ability to see at night, and later cause tunnel vision and loss of central vision. Retinal degenerations affect the retina, a light sensitive layer of cells in the back of the eye. Slowly over time, these cells die and cause permanent loss of vision. The implant is a small capsule that contains human retinal pigment epithelium cells. These cells have been given the ability to make CNTF and release it through the capsule membrane into the surrounding fluid. In this study, two different CNTF dose levels will be used: a high dose and a low dose in one eye, as well as a sham (or placebo) surgery in the other eye.
NCT05572970
This is an expanded access study for cancer treatment with balstilimab alone or in combination with zalifrelimab for an intermediate-size participant population. This study addresses the treatment needs of participants who have been previously and specifically treated with balstilimab alone or in combination with zalifrelimab in a clinical study, who have experienced a benefit from this treatment and/or wish to continue treatment, and who are eligible for treatment under this expanded access study.
NCT03345342
The purpose of this study is to demonstrate that injection cycles consisting of a single administration of paliperidone palmitate 6-month (PP6M) are not less effective than 2 sequentially administered injections of paliperidone palmitate 3-month PP3M) (350 or 525 mg eq.) for the prevention of relapse in participants with schizophrenia previously stabilized on corresponding doses of paliperidone palmitate 1-month (PP1M) (100 or 150 mg eq.) or PP3M (350 or 525 mg eq.).
NCT04533529
The purpose of this study is to assess the efficacy of seltorexant compared with placebo as adjunctive therapy to an antidepressant in improving depressive symptoms in participants with major depressive disorder with insomnia symptoms (MDDIS) who have had an inadequate response to current antidepressant therapy with an selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) or serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SNRI) in double-blind treatment phase and to assess the long-term safety and tolerability of seltorexant as adjunctive therapy to an antidepressant in participants with major depressive disorder (MDD) in open-label treatment phase.
NCT06809907
A prospective, single arm, non-randomized, pivotal clinical validation study to evaluate the ability of the Kintsugi Voice Device (the Device) to aid clinical assessment for depression by comparing its output with a diagnosis made by a clinician using the Structured Clinical Interview for DSM-5 (SCID-5-RV) for up to 1000 English speaking adult patients ages 22 and older living in the United States. Recruitment will occur for 1 year and participation will be for up to 2 weeks
NCT03517722
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of ustekinumab in participants with active systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) who have not adequately responded to one or more standard of care treatments.
NCT03227224
The purpose of this study is to assess the dose-response relationship of 2 doses of JNJ-42847922 before interim analysis, and potentially 3 doses based on interim analysis results, compared to placebo as adjunctive therapy to an antidepressant drug in improving depressive symptoms in participants with Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) who have had an inadequate response to current antidepressant therapy with a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) or serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SNRI); and to assess the safety and tolerability of JNJ-42847922 compared to placebo as adjunctive therapy to an antidepressant in participants with MDD.
NCT04153994
Providing effective analgesia after spinal fusion for idiopathic scoliosis remains a challenge with significant practice variation existing among high volume spine surgery centers. Even in the era of multimodal analgesia, opioids are the primary analgesics used for pain control after pediatric scoliosis surgery, but have multiple known adverse effects. The erector spinae plane block (ESPB) is a newly described fascial plane block performed by injecting local anesthetic between the erector spinae muscle and the transverse process. Additionally, there are case reports describing the ESPB as part of a multi-modal analgesic plan in adult degenerative spine surgery as well as adult spinal deformity surgery, demonstrating effective analgesia and no clinical motor blockade. Although it is known that the inflammatory reaction plays a crucial role in the mechanism of acute pain after major surgery, the effectiveness of the current regional approach on inflammatory response is not well studied.
NCT04109365
Combined spinal-epidural (CSE) is an established technique for providing labour analgesia to obstetric patients which provides rapid onset but unsustained analgesia. The epidural catheter can be used to extend and provide continuous pain relief, however during single-segment needle-through-needle CSE, the catheter is untested. This study aims to confirm placement of epidural catheters of anesthesia through the epidural stimulation test (EST) which was first described by the PI of the study for confirming placement of epidural catheters approximately 20 years ago.
NCT04013685
This study will evaluate the safety, tolerability, and efficacy of Orca-T, an allogeneic stem cell and T-cell immunotherapy biologic manufactured for each patient (transplant recipient) from the mobilized peripheral blood of a specific, unique donor. It is composed of purified hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells (HSPCs), purified regulatory T cells (Tregs), and conventional T cells (Tcons) in participants undergoing myeloablative allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplant transplantation for hematologic malignancies.

This is an open label, Phase 1b, multiple ascending dose, and dose-expansion study of IDP-023 administered in combination with interleukin-2 (IL-2) and ocrelizumab to evaluate the safety, tolerability, and biologic activity on autoreactive immune cells in patients with refractory progressive multiple sclerosis.
NCT05462756
The reason for this study is to evaluate if the once-weekly study drug insulin efsitora alfa (LY3209590) is safe and effective compared with daily insulin glargine in participants with Type 2 diabetes (T2D) that have already been treated with basal insulin and at least 2 injections per day of prandial insulin. The study consists of a 3-week screening/lead-in period, a 26-week treatment period and a 5-week safety follow-up period. The study will last up to 34 weeks.
