This is a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, multi-center study in the United States (U.S.) that will evaluate the effect of mavacamten treatment on reducing the number of septal reduction therapy (SRT) procedures performed in subjects with symptomatic obstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (oHCM \[also known as HOCM\]) who are eligible for SRT based on ACCF/AHA 2011 and/or ESC 2014 guidelines.

Belantamab mafodotin is an antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) containing humanized anti- B-cell maturation antigen (BCMA) monoclonal antibody (mAb). Renal impairment is a major complication of multiple myeloma (MM) and the majority of MM participants is either at risk or already has renal dysfunction at initial diagnosis. The purpose of this study is to assess the pharmacokinetics (PK), safety, and tolerability of belantamab mafodotin monotherapy in participants with RRMM, who have had at least 3 lines of prior treatment (or at least 2 lines of prior treatment if ineligible for autologous stem cell transplantation ) and have either normal or impaired renal functions. The study will consist of two parts: part 1 will include participants with normal/mildly impaired renal function and severe renal impairment and part 2 will include participants with end-stage renal disease (ESRD), where participants are either not undergoing or require hemodialysis. Participants will be administered belantamab mafodotin at a dose of 2.5 milligram per kilogram (mg/kg) intravenously once in three weeks (Q3W) dosing in Part 1. Based on the Part 1 Safety/Pharmacokinetic (PK) data, Part 2 participants will be administered the dose of either 2.5 mg/kg or 1.9 mg/kg (or other adjusted dose). Participants will be treated with belantamab mafodotin monotherapy until confirmed disease progression, death, unacceptable toxicity, withdrawal of consent, or end of study, whichever occurs first. This study will include a screening phase, treatment phase, follow-up phase and a post analysis continued treatment (PACT) phase . The total duration of the study is approximately up to 48 months.

This is a multicenter, prospective, non-interventional study in which a total of 1000 subjects in need of a single, multiple or full arch restoration in any region of the mouth (healed or extracted) will be treated in up to 30 study centers. The primary aim of this study is to demonstrate non-inferiority of all NobelBiocare TiUltra implants to historic data from NobelActive TiUnite coated implant in terms of marginal bone level change over 5 years after final prosthetic delivery. Eligible subjects who provide their informed consent for participation will be enrolled into one of four groups, each sized to 250 individuals. They will be treated with the corresponding implant system assigned to the group. The allocation into a certain group is only driven by the subject's clinical and restorative requirement and standard of care at the enrolling study clinic. Each subject will be followed for 5 years after definitive prosthetic placement

This phase III trial studies how well lenalidomide in combination with ixazomib works compared to lenalidomide alone in treating patients with evidence of residual multiple myeloma after stem cell transplantation. Lenalidomide may help shrink or slow the growth of multiple myeloma. Ixazomib may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Giving lenalidomide and ixazomib together may work better than giving lenalidomide alone in treating patients with evidence of residual multiple myeloma after a stem cell transplantation.

About 10 people with cystic fibrosis (CF) and persistent Nontuberculosis mycobacteria (NTM) infection despite treatment will be screened to find out if their NTM infection has at least one mycobacteriophage that is effective in killing the mycobacteria. Individuals who are found to have at least one phage will be offered assistance in pursuing FDA approval for treatment via expanded-access Individual New Drug (IND) for compassionate-use. They will receive phage treatment for 1 year along with their guideline-based antibiotics for NTM. Individuals who are not identified as having a phage match will be followed as they continue to receive guideline based antibiotic therapy for 1 year. All subjects, including those who do not have a phage match will continue to be observed for the duration of the study, or about 1 year.

A migraine is a moderate to severe headache on one side of the head that may be accompanied by throbbing, nausea, vomiting, sensitivity to light and sound, or other symptoms. The main goal of the study is to evaluate the tolerability (how patients handle the study treatment) and safety of atogepant compared to topiramate in participants with migraine. Atogepant is a medicine currently approved for the preventive treatment of adult patients with episodic migraine (0 to 14 migraine days per month) and is being studied for the preventative treatment of migraine globally. Topiramate is an approved medication for migraine prevention. This study is conducted in 2 periods. In Period 1, participants will be randomly put into 1 of 2 groups at the start of the study to receive atogepant or topiramate. In Period 2, eligible participants will receive atogepant. Approximately 520 participants aged 18 and older will be enrolled in this study in approximately 85 sites across the world. Participants will receive atogepant (and placebo for topiramate) or topiramate (and placebo for atogepant) for 24 weeks in Period 1. Both atogepant and placebo for atogepant are given as a tablet to take by mouth while topiramate and placebo for topiramate are given as a capsule to take by mouth. After 24 weeks, all eligible participants will receive atogepant for 52 weeks in Period 2. Participants are monitored for safety for 4 weeks after their last study treatment. There may be higher treatment burden for participants in this trial compared to their standard of care. Participants will attend regular visits during the study at a hospital or clinic. The safety and tolerability of the treatment will be checked by medical assessments, blood tests, checking for adverse events and completing questionnaires.

Tumor tissue collected from biopsy before surgery may help to check if chemotherapy destroyed the breast cancer cells and may be compared to the tumor removed during surgery to check if they are the same.

The purpose of the study is to learn which treatment option is better for patients who have multi-vessel coronary artery disease (blockages in more than one vessel supplying blood to the heart muscle). The treatment options this study will compare are: (1) Hybrid Coronary Revascularization \[HCR\] (a combination of surgery and catheter procedures to open up clogged heart arteries) and (2) Percutaneous Coronary Intervention \[PCI\] (catheter procedures alone to open up clogged heart arteries). There are no new or "experimental" procedures being tested in this study: both HCR and PCI are well-established procedures and are regularly performed in patients who have coronary artery disease. But, the FDA has not approved the drug-eluting stents used in PCI for all types of coronary artery disease. We have received an Investigational Device Exemption from the FDA to use the drug-eluting stents in this trial in the same way that they are used in clinical practice. The study being proposed here will use rigorous scientific methods and should result in a very high level of certainty about which procedure is best for patients with coronary artery disease.

Preliminary studies suggest that COVID-19 causes long-term lung damage, even in young, otherwise healthy people who did not need to go to hospital or the ICU. We seek to know how common long-term lung damage after COVID-19 is, who is most affected by it and what the effects of this damage are on other important aspects of people's lives. We plan to study a large sample of people with a history of COVID-19 infection from across Canada-some who needed hospitalization but most who did not. Through online questionnaires, we will determine their respiratory symptoms, quality of life and medical history. Then we will invite them to one of our thirteen Canadian testing centres to have special, thorough breathing tests. We hypothesize that COVID-19 leaves a significant proportion of people with measurable respiratory impairment. The information we learn about the effect of COVID-19 on the lungs will help patients and health care providers manage it better. It will also reveal how different COVID-19 variants affect the lungs. We will use this new knowledge to write a formal guide on what respiratory monitoring and testing should be done after COVID-19 infection. This will ensure that people affected by COVID-19 get the care they need to maintain their lung health.
