NCT02477891
The objective of this study is to provide early access to daratumumab treatment and collect additional safety data while the medication is not commercially available or available through another protocol for subjects with multiple myeloma who have received at least 3 prior lines of therapy including a proteasome inhibitor (PI) and an immunomodulatory agent (IMiD) or whose disease is double refractory to both a PI and an IMiD.
NCT02746068
This is a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, 24-week study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of AXS-02 in subjects with knee osteoarthritis associated with bone marrow lesions.
NCT01552681
The purpose of the study is to find out if the experimental study agent, baminercept, is effective in treating patients with Sjögren's syndrome. The study will also determine if the study agent can be safely given to patients with Sjögren's syndrome; examine how it affects symptoms of the disease; and attempt to understand how baminercept affects the underlying mechanisms of Sjögren's syndrome and the immune system.
NCT02610283
This trial is designed to evaluate QPI-1002 versus placebo for the prevention of AKI in subjects who are at high risk for AKI following cardiac surgery. Half of the participants will receive QPI-1002 while the other half will receive placebo.
NCT01372150
This is a Double-blind Study Evaluating Desvenlafaxine Succinate (DVS SR) Sustained Release vs Placebo in the Treatment of Children and Adolescent Outpatients with Major Depressive Disorder (MDD).
NCT02512588
This is a randomized, placebo-controlled, double-blind, multiple cohort, fixed-dose multiple crossover, dose-finding study of oral BTD-001 in adult patients with IH or Narcolepsy without cataplexy (Type 2).
NCT02367183
This study is design to explore the effect of GED-0301 on clinical and endoscopic outcome and to evaluate its safety in subjects with active Crohn's disease.
NCT02324335
Oral Mucositis (OM) is a painful and debilitating side effect of many of the drug/radiation regimens used to treat cancer. This study examines the investigational drug brilacidin and its possible application in prevention of oral mucositis in patients undergoing chemoradiation for treatment of head and neck cancer.
NCT02857816
To evaluate the NURO system for the treatment of OAB in drug naïve patients.
NCT03137784
The purpose of this trial is to characterize the bronchodilator effects and safety of 25 ug and 50 ug o.d. NVA237 (glycopyrronium bromide) doses compared to placebo in asthma patients
NCT02226172
A lead-in cohort of \~20 patients with primary or secondary myelofibrosis previously treated with 1 or more Janus kinase inhibitors enrolled to single-agent glasdegib to evaluate safety and tolerability. Following the lead-in, a phase 2, double blind, 2-arm study, randomized 2:1 to oral single-agent glasdegib versus placebo in 201 patients resistant or intolerant to ruxolitinib.
NCT00087438
RATIONALE: Radiation therapy uses high-energy x-rays to damage tumor cells. Stereotactic body radiation therapy may be able to deliver x-rays directly to the tumor and cause less damage to normal tissue. PURPOSE: This phase II trial is studying how well stereotactic body radiation therapy works in treating patients with inoperable stage I or stage II non-small cell lung cancer.
NCT02531438
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and efficacy of omadacycline as compared to moxifloxacin in the treatment of adults with community-acquired bacterial pneumonia.
NCT01284335
The purpose of this study is to determine a safe dose of LY573636 (tasisulam) when used in 5 separate combinations with an approved cancer medication for treating participants with advanced cancer. Data from this study will be reviewed for any side effects or anti-tumor activity that may be associated with the LY573636 combination treatments.
NCT00495040
The goal of this clinical research study is to learn if escalated/accelerated proton radiotherapy can improve the control of Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC) and decrease side effects. The safety of this treatment will also be studied. Objectives: To assess the therapeutic efficacy and toxicities of proton radiotherapy with escalated/accelerated dose for patients with medically inoperable stage I (T1-2, N0,M0) NSCLC. Primary goals: 1. Improve 2 years progression free survival at the primary site, and 2. reduce acute and chronic toxicity Secondary goals: 1. Improve disease specific survival at 2 years. 2. Study the potential of pre- and post treatment PET/CT in predicting clinical outcome. 3. Study the role of biomarkers in predicting therapeutic response and toxicities.
NCT00706147
The purpose of this study will be to demonstrate the safety, tolerability, and efficacy of arimoclomol in subjects with SOD1 positive familial Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). This type of ALS is HEREDITARY (runs in families), and at least one other person in the family must have had ALS. Study hypotheses: Arimoclomol, taken at a dose of 200 mg three times daily will improve survival as defined by time to death, tracheostomy or permanent assisted ventilation. In addition, it will be safe and well tolerated in subjects with SOD1 positive familial ALS. Funding Source - FDA-OOPD
NCT01286987
This is a single-arm, open-label study to assess the safety, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and preliminary efficacy of talazoparib in patients with advanced tumors with DNA-repair pathway deficiencies. There will be 2 parts to the study: a dose escalation phase in which the maximum tolerated dose will be defined, and a dose expansion phase.
NCT00543439
The purpose of this research study is to determine the effectiveness, safety, and pharmacokinetics (PK) of moroctocog alfa (AF-CC) in previously treated subjects, who are younger than 6 years of age, with severe or moderately severe hemophilia A.
NCT03015519
The incidence of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) is increasing day by day but the treatment options are limited in children and adolescents. Albiglutide, approved for the treatment of T2DM in adult population, is a novel analogue of glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) with a sufficiently long half-life to permit once a week injection. The study will be conducted in 2 parts: Part A is a single dose pharmacokinetic (PK) study to confirm the dose and safety of albiglutide in pediatric subjects aged 10 to less than 18 years and Part B is a randomized double-blind placebo controlled study to evaluate the safety and efficacy (glycemic control) of albiglutide in the pediatric population. Treatment duration in Part B is 52 weeks (24 weeks double-blind placebo-controlled and 28 weeks open-label during which all subjects will receive albiglutide). Approximately 210 eligible male and female subjects will be included in the study.
