The Kids FACE FEARS (Kids Formats of Anxiety Care Effectiveness study For Extending the Acceptability and Reach of Services) is a large-scale, streamlined, pragmatic Randomized Controlled Trial (RCT) evaluating Therapist-Led CBT (telehealth, office-based, or hybrid) vs. Guided Online Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for the treatment of elevated child and adolescent anxiety. Families will be recruited from pediatric health centers serving primarily racial/ethnic minority youth in urban, suburban, and semi-rural regions. Services will be offered in English and Spanish. Patient-centered outcomes will be evaluated across a one-year follow-up period. To compare the effectiveness of the two treatment comparators, investigators will analyze the reports of caregivers, youth, and therapists, as well as independent evaluators who are not informed of each child's treatment assignment. Primary outcomes will focus on family-rated anxiety severity and impairment, treatment responder and remission status rated by independent evaluators, family-perceived effectiveness, and treatment satisfaction. Secondary analyses will examine additional outcomes, predictors of varied outcomes across different subgroups of youth, and facilitators and barriers to treatment implementation. Caregivers, patients, providers, and other key stakeholders will be actively engaged throughout all aspects of the research.

The number of elderly head-and-neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) patients is increasing; however, the evidence regarding the ideal treatment for this often vulnerable and frail patient cohort is limited. Although the benefit of concomitant chemotherapy has been reported to decrease in elderly HNSCC patients based on the MACH-NC meta-analysis, it remains unknown whether state-of-the art radiotherapy techniques such as intensity-modulated radiotherapy (IMRT), modern supportive treatments and alternative chemotherapy fractionation (e.g., cisplatin weekly) may have altered this observation. The objective of this retrospective multinational multicenter study is to determine the oncological outcomes of elderly patients (≥65 years) with locally advanced HNSCCs undergoing definitive (chemo-)radiation and to investigate the influence of concomitant chemotherapy on overall survival and progression-free survival after adjusting for potential confounder variables such as age, performance status and comorbidity burden.

The goal of this clinical trial is to evaluate the Safety, Tolerability, Pharmacodynamics, and Pharmacokinetics of the Co-Administration of Roluperidone and Olanzapine in Adult Subjects with Moderate to Severe Negative Symptoms of Schizophrenia. The main question this clinical trial aims to answer are the pharmacodynamic and pharmacokinetic effects and safety of the concomitant therapy of Roluperidone with an established and widely used antipsychotic, such as olanzapine in order to provide further guidance to clinical practitioners that may prescribe off-label use of these drugs concomitantly in clinical practice. Eligible Participants will undergo the following study phases in the clinic: * Screening Phase: Between 2 and up to 28 days during which study eligibility will be established and subjects receiving psychotropics will be washed out. Subjects will remain inpatient at the clinical site at least through the end of Treatment Phase 2. * Treatment Phase 1: After the Baseline Visit, Roluperidone 64 mg/day will be administered as a monotherapy for 7 days (Days 1-7). * Treatment Phase 2: Concomitant administration of Olanzapine 10 mg/day and Roluperidone 64 mg/day for 10 days, starting on Day 8 (Days 8-17). Subjects may be discharged from the clinic at least 48 hours after the last administration of the study drugs and after the collection of the last plasma sample; however, the inpatient period may be extended at the discretion of the investigator. End of Study (EOS): Will take place at least 14 days after the last dose of the study.

This is a trial in adult participants with unresectable, locally advanced, Stage III non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) treated with pembrolizumab in combination with platinum doublet chemotherapy and standard thoracic radiotherapy followed by pembrolizumab monotherapy. The primary hypothesis of the trial is that within each platinum doublet chemotherapy cohort, the percentage of participants who develop Grade 3 or higher pneumonitis is ≤10% and estimation of objective response rate (ORR) by blinded independent central review (BICR).

This phase II trial studies how well ibrutinib and brentuximab vedotin work in treating patients with Hodgkin lymphoma that has returned (relapsed) or does not respond to treatment (refractory). Ibrutinib may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as brentuximab vedotin, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Giving ibrutinib together with brentuximab vedotin may be a better treatment for Hodgkin lymphoma.

This is a multi-center, sequential cohort, open-label, volume and dose escalation study of the safety, tolerability, and distribution of 186RNL given by convection enhanced delivery to patients with recurrent or progressive malignant glioma after standard surgical, radiation, and/or chemotherapy treatment. The study uses a modified Fibonacci dose escalation, followed by an expansion at the maximum tolerated dose (MTD) to determine efficacy. The starting absorbed dose is 1mCi in a volume of 0.660mL.

A prior study by the principal investigator of this project identified dopamine- and oxytocin-related brain pathways that showed a diminished response when addicted mothers viewed the faces of their own vs. unknown infants, compared with non-addicted mothers. These areas include the hypothalamus, striatum and ventromedial prefrontal cortex. In addition, the investigators plan to examine activation patterns within the salience network, which includes the anterior cingulate cortex and the anterior insula. Oxytocin, a neuropeptide with decreased blood levels seen in addicted mothers, is integrally involved in maternal brain and behavioral responses. When administered intranasally, the pilot data has shown enhanced activation of the striatum, prefrontal cortex (PFC) and amygdala. The purpose of this study is to continue and expand upon the previous investigation of maternal addiction, by conducting a randomized, double-blinded, placebo controlled, crossover study of intranasal oxytocin on maternal brain responses. 150 mothers from the University of Iowa and the Yale Child Study Center will be enrolled (75 with a history of drug addiction and 75 matched control mothers), along with their 2 to 12-month-old infants, to participate in four study visits over a two-month period.

Regular participation in walking is essential to reduce disability and enhance participation in preferred life activities. However, people with chronic conditions are often sedentary, contributing to greater disability. The goal of this work is to determine the benefits of a walking, walking enhancing exercises and cognitive-behavioral strategies delivered using mobile health technology for people with Parkinson disease over a sustained period of time.

70 couples (married or cohabiting) will be recruited across 5 countries (12-18 in each country: Argentina, Costa Rica, Guatemala, México, and Spain). After their entry into the study is confirmed, couples will be randomly allocated into one of two groups: intervention or control (no intervention). In each country, both groups will have equal number of couples. Couples in the intervention group will receive 20 sessions of Emotionally Focused couple Therapy (EFT). Couples in the control group will receive no intervention during the study period (they will receive a shorter intervention after the trial is over). Participants of both groups will fill questionnaires before allocation, during the intervention period and after the intervention period. The main outcomes will be couple attachment, couple satisfaction and dyadic adjustment. The original timeline for the study was to start in Argentina and Guatemala in February 2020, and the remaining countries in September 2020. The study started in February 2020 for Argentina and Guatemala, but in April 2020 the process was postponed due to mobility constrains during covid-19 crisis. During these two months, the process remained in the recruitment phase. Therefore, couples were not randomly assigned. Due to an improvement in the pandemic situation, the study started in Spain in September 2021.We expect the remaining countries will start during 2022. The study period for each couple will be around 6 months.
