NCT03060213
Subjective well-being refers to people's level of satisfaction with life as a whole and with multiple dimensions within it. Interventions that promote subjective well-being are important because there is evidence that physical health, mental health, substance use and health care costs may be related to subjective well-being. This randomized controlled trial will evaluate an online intervention, named Fun For Wellness (FFW), designed to promote well-being skills and self-efficacy in six domains of life: interpersonal, community, occupational, physical, psychological, and economic (I COPPE). The Usual Care (UC) control group will be wait-listed. Five hundred (500) community-based adult patient participants will be enrolled. We hypothesize that compared to the UC group, intervention group participants will show greater improvement in their overall subjective well-being, domain-specific well-being, health-related quality of life, and well-being self-efficacy.
NCT05337254
Single-center, single-dose, open-label, 5-period crossover (in each part), pharmacokinetic and safety study.
NCT03049735
The purpose of this study is to determine the benefit of relugolix 40 milligrams (mg) once a day co-administered with estradiol (E2) 1 mg and norethindrone acetate (NETA) 0.5 mg compared with placebo for 24 weeks on heavy menstrual bleeding associated with uterine fibroids.
NCT02545049
The purpose of this study was to evaluate whether oral finerenone (study drug), in addition to standard daily therapy, is effective and safe in treating patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and diabetic kidney disease, when compared to a placebo.
NCT01547741
RATIONALE: Drugs used in chemotherapy work in different ways to stop the growth of breast cancer cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. Giving the drugs in different combinations may kill more breast cancer cells. Giving combination chemotherapy after surgery may kill any tumor cells that remain after surgery. PURPOSE: This randomized phase III trial is studying different combination chemotherapy regimens and their side effects and comparing how well they work in treating women with non-metastatic breast cancer.
NCT01721746
The purpose of the study is to estimate the response rate and compare overall survival of patients taking BMS-936558 to those taking study physician's choice of either Dacarbazine or Carboplatin and Paclitaxel
NCT03194854
Fun For Wellness (FFW) is an online behavioral intervention designed to promote growth in well-being by providing capability-enhancing learning opportunities to participants. This study is a randomized controlled trial (RCT) designed to provide an initial evaluation of the effectiveness of FFW to increase well-being and physical activity in an obese adult population in the United States of America. The conceptual framework for the FFW intervention is guided by self-efficacy theory. The FFW intervention consists of participants engaging in BET I CAN challenges. BET I CAN is an acronym that stands for behaviors, emotions, thoughts, interactions, awareness, and next steps. The FFW intervention is conceptualized as exerting both a positive direct effect, and a positive indirect effect through self-efficacy (i.e., well-being self-efficacy), on well-being (i.e., subjective well-being and well-being actions).
NCT03145766
This multicenter, observer-blind, controlled, randomized, Phase II study was designed to evaluate different formulations of the Purified Vero Rabies Cell vaccine VRVg.
NCT02983799
This is a non-randomized, open-label study to assess olaparib tablets as a treatment for subjects with different homologous recombination deficiency (HRD) tumor status and with platinum-sensitive, relapsed, high-grade serous or high-grade endometrioid ovarian cancer. Subjects should have received at least 1 prior line of platinum-based chemotherapy.
NCT03732534
This is an open-label, rollover study to collect long-term safety, tolerability, and investigator- and participant-reported pharmacodynamic (PD) data after chronic administration of NBI-98854 in pediatric participants with Tourette Syndrome (TS), as well as to provide open-label access to NBI-98854 for the treatment of TS for pediatric participants who have taken part in a Phase 2 NBI-98854 study.
NCT04575038
This study will assess the efficacy and safety of DHODHi (brequinar) as an antiviral via 5 days of treatment of participants with positive COVID-19 and at least one symptom of COVI019 in an out-patient setting. The study is multi-center, randomized, and placebo-controlled.
NCT03826667
Post-market clinical follow-up on the PEEK Suture Anchors in the shoulder.
NCT03846453
The objective of this study was to compare the safety and efficacy of 0.25% HL036 Ophthalmic Solutions to placebo for the treatment of the signs and symptoms of dry eye.
NCT00605215
The study aims to compare the effect of daily oral treatment of laquinimod capsules 0.6 milligrams (mg) with the effect of placebo capsules (capsules that contain no active medication) as well as with the effect of an existing Multiple Sclerosis (MS) injectable drug: Interferon β-1a (Avonex®).
NCT02901717
This is a Phase 3, multi-center, randomized, open-label, assess-blind study to determine the efficacy and safety of MLT, a novel antibiotic lock therapy that combines minocycline with edetate disodium in 25% ethanol solution as an adjuctive therapy for the treatment of catheter-related or central line associated bloodstream infection (CRBSI/CLABSI). Approximately 144 subjects who have been diagnosed with CRBSI/CLABSI and who meet all necessary criteria for the study will be randomized in a 1:1 ratio to 1 of 2 treatment arms: * MLT Arm: Mino-Lok therapy; or * Control Arm: Antibiotic lock (±heparin). The antibiotic lock (ALT) should be comprised of the best available therapy at the sites based on standard institutional practices or recommendations from the Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA) guidelines.
NCT03337906
An observational study of long-term outcomes of HIV-1 infection in persons who become infected after enrollment in HIV-1 vaccine trials
NCT03000257
This is an open-label, Phase I, dose-escalation study to determine the recommended Phase 2 dose (RPTD), maximum tolerated dose (MTD), and evaluate the safety and pharmacokinetic (PK) profile of budigalimab. This study will also evaluate the safety and tolerability of budigalimab in combination with Rovalpituzumab Tesirine and budigalimab in combination with venetoclax. The study will consist of 3 parts: budigalimab monotherapy dose escalation and expansion, budigalimab in combination with Rovalpituzumab Tesirine and budigalimab in combination with venetoclax.
