NCT05780541
This study looks at the safety and effectiveness of PF-07304814 in treating COVID-19 in people who have been hospitalized with the infection. Participants in the study will be treated with either PF-07304814 plus current standard of care (SOC), or with placebo plus current SOC. This is ACTIV-3/TICO Treatment Trial H6.
NCT05583279
Self-injurious thoughts and behaviors (SITBs) are a serious public health concern, particularly for youth involved in the juvenile justice system (JJS), which the Georgia State Juvenile Justice System (GAJJS) intends to address by the implementation of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) in its JJS facilities. This proposal aims to support and study the GAJJS' pilot implementation of DBT at its facilities using a mixed-methods cross-over design involving a three-phase clinical trial assessing the feasibility, acceptability, and preliminary effectiveness of DBT-A adapted for youth in the GAJJS. By the end of the proposed project, the investigators will have (1) established a research team to continue researching SITB interventions in the GAJJS, (2) developed protocols for implementing and evaluating DBT-A adapted for the JJS delivered in person and via telehealth, and (3) preliminary data on the feasibility, acceptability, and effectiveness of DBT-A adapted for the JJS.
NCT02995330
Men with progressive metastatic Castration-Resistant Prostate Cancer post first-line treatment with either androgen deprivation therapy alone or androgen deprivation therapy plus docetaxel who have an identified related female donor (mother sister, daughter, second degree relative such as granddaughter or niece) will undergo bone marrow transplantation followed by post-transplant Cytoxan (PT/Cy) and testosterone.
NCT05670639
This is a small-scale multi-site pilot of a supplemental enhancement called "Care Partner" to the evidence-based CAPABLE program that will involve up to 60 individuals (30 care partners and older adult dyads) and 30 professional staff in organizations currently licensed to provide CAPABLE. This is a qualitative study of a convenience sample of individuals.
NCT02222909
Project CONNECT ("Community-based Organizations Neighborhood Network: Enhancing Capacity Together") is a randomized controlled trial that involves 22 community-based organizations (CBOs) located in Baltimore, MD. Half of these organizations were randomly assigned to the intervention group using a constrained cluster randomization process. The remaining 11 are a part of the control intervention group. The intervention is a co-developed set of IT tools hypothesized to improve the connections among intervention CBOs, Johns Hopkins health care facilities and CBO clients.
NCT04740814
The purpose of the study is to evaluate the pharmacokinetics and safety of certolizumab pegol in adults with active rheumatoid arthritis.
NCT02168140
This phase I trial studies the side effects and best dose of CPI-613 when given together with bendamustine hydrochloride in treating patients with relapsed or refractory T-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma or Hodgkin lymphoma. CPI-613 may kill cancer cells by turning off their mitochondria, which are used by cancer cells to produce energy and are the building blocks needed to make more cancer cells. By shutting off mitochondria, CPI-613 may deprive the cancer cells of energy and other supplies needed to survive and grow. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as bendamustine hydrochloride, work in different ways to stop the growth of cancer cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Giving CPI-613 with bendamustine hydrochloride may kill more cancer cells.
NCT04143217
Open label, flexible dose, long-term multicenter study of safety and efficacy of SPN-812 in adult ADHD patients
NCT04391920
The CTC Registry collects patient-level clinical data on CytoSorb hemoadsorption provided to COVID-19 ICU patients via integration of the CytoSorb device into ECMO, CRRT, or hemoperfusion extracorporeal circuits. The intent of the registry is to gain understanding on how CytoSorb hemoadsorption provides clinical benefit to COVID-19 ICU patients.
NCT04887857
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety, tolerability, and preliminary efficacy of CC-486 (ONUREG®) in combination with venetoclax in relapsed and/or refractory Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) and newly diagnosed AML.
NCT03639194
This is a multicenter, open-label, Phase 1 study of ABBV-011 given as a single agent and in combination with budigalimab (ABBV-181) in participants with relapsed or refractory small cell lung cancer (SCLC). The study consists of 4 parts: Part A is a single-agent ABBV-011 dose regimen finding cohort; followed by Part B, a single-agent ABBV-011 dose expansion cohort; and then Part C, an ABBV-011 and budigalimab (ABBV-181) combination escalation and expansion cohort; Part D, single-agent ABBV-011 dose-evaluating cohort for Japan.
NCT02357797
This is a 16-week, randomized, double-blind, parallel group, placebo-controlled study comparing adjunctive vortioxetine with identically appearing adjunctive placebo pills in 88 stable patients with a research diagnosis of schizophrenia determined with the Structured Clinical Interview for DSM (SCID). Patient randomization will be stratified by illness duration (i.e., \</=5 years and \>5 years) in order to allow for post-hoc analyses examining whether earlier illness moderates greater negative and /or cognitive symptom reduction in response to vortioxetine.
NCT03447860
The Primary objective of the study is to evaluate the effectiveness of mindfulness based caregiver intervention, Practice of Acceptance, Awareness, and Compassion in Caregiving (PAACC) compared to an established cognitive behavior therapy based dementia caregiver intervention, Resources for Enhancing Alzheimer's Caregiver Health (REACH) in improving caregiver burden and quality of life of care recipient.
NCT01959139
This partially randomized phase I/II trial studies the side effects and best dose of pegylated recombinant human hyaluronidase (PEGPH20) when given together with combination chemotherapy and to see how well they work compared with combination chemotherapy alone in treating patients with newly diagnosed pancreatic cancer that has spread to other places in the body. Pegylated recombinant human hyaluronidase may help chemotherapy drugs work better by making tumor cells more sensitive to the drugs. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as leucovorin calcium, fluorouracil, irinotecan hydrochloride, and oxaliplatin, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. It is not yet known whether combination chemotherapy is more effective with or without pegylated recombinant human hyaluronidase in treating pancreatic cancer.
NCT02512965
The purpose of this study is to find out if SBRT is better than CRT at controlling pain in the spine 3 months after receiving treatment.
