NCT03654274
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the long-term efficacy and safety of relugolix 40 milligram (mg) once daily co-administered with low-dose estradiol (E2) and norethindrone acetate (NETA) for up to 104 weeks on endometriosis-associated pain in participants who previously completed a 24-week treatment period in one of the parent studies (MVT-601-3101 or MVT-601-3102).
NCT01583218
The purpose of this study is to evaluate whether extended prophylaxis with oral betrixaban can prevent blood clots in the leg and lung that sometime occur in patients hospitalized for an acute medical illness and to compare these results with standard of care enoxaparin. The safety of betrixaban will also be studied.
NCT03024996
This is a Phase III, multicenter, randomized, placebo-controlled, double-blind study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of atezolizumab versus placebo in participants with RCC who are at high risk of disease recurrence following nephrectomy.
NCT00017953
The Look AHEAD study is a multi-center, randomized clinical trial to examine the long-term effects of a lifestyle intervention designed to achieve and maintain weight loss. The study will investigate the effects of the intervention on heart attacks, stroke and cardiovascular-related death in individuals with type 2 diabetes who are also overweight or obese.
NCT03861481
The purpose of the study is to evaluate clinical efficacy of rozanolixizumab as a treatment for subjects with chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyradiculoneuropathy (CIDP).
NCT05137002
This is a Phase 2, randomized, multicenter study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of multiple dose strengths of baxdrostat (also called CIN-107) in the treatment of patients with uncontrolled hypertension. The primary objective was to demonstrate that treatment with baxdrostat for 8 weeks would lower the systolic blood pressure (SBP) in patients who were hypertensive despite taking one or two anti-hypertensive medications. Participants were assigned to take placebo or baxdrostat once per day for 8 weeks while they continued taking the regular anti-hypertensive medications. At the end of the 8-week period, qualified patients could participate in Part II of the study and receive 2 mg baxdrostat for 4 weeks while they discontinued taking the background anti-hypertensive medication.
NCT03748784
ADVM-022 (AAV.7m8-aflibercept) is a gene therapy product developed for the treatment of neovascular (wet) age-related macular degeneration (wet AMD). Wet AMD is a serious condition and the leading cause of blindness in the elderly. The available therapies for treating wet AMD require life-long intravitreal (IVT) injections every 4-12 weeks to maintain efficacy. A one-time IVT administration of ADVM-022 has the potential to treat wet AMD by providing durable expression of therapeutic levels of intraocular anti-VEGF protein (aflibercept) and maintaining the vision of patients. ADVM-022 is designed to reduce the current treatment burden which often results in undertreatment and vision loss in patients with wet AMD receiving anti-VEGF therapy in clinical practice.
NCT04231318
This is a multi-center, randomized, double-blind, parallel group, placebo controlled trial to compare the safety and effectiveness of a single injection of Cingal® to a single injection of Triamcinolone Hexacetonide (TH) to achieve pain relief and other symptoms of osteoarthritis of the knee.
NCT05266196
This rollover protocol allows continued access to seclidemstat (SP-2577) for patients who are still receiving clinical benefit on completed or closed Salarius sponsored studies.
NCT00688246
RATIONALE: Learning about the effect of exemestane on bone mineral density in postmenopausal women at increased risk of breast cancer may help plan treatment, decrease the risk of broken bones, and help patients live more comfortably. PURPOSE: This research study is measuring bone mineral density in postmenopausal women at increased risk of developing breast cancer who are receiving exemestane on clinical trial CAN-NCIC-MAP3.
NCT00585884
Following placement of silicone breast prosthetics for reconstruction
NCT05076942
Vulvar cancer patients with SN-metastasis \> 2mm will receive chemoradiation instead of an inguinofemoral lymphadenectomy.
NCT00542308
Treatment, In combination with BSC, Open-label, Single arm, Efficacy Study.
NCT04182659
This study aims to look at the long term efficacy of using repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) in relieving Gulf War Illness related headaches and pain.
NCT02214160
The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the long-term safety and efficacy of UX007 in participants with LC-FAOD. The secondary objectives of this study are to evaluate the effect of UX007 on energy metabolism in LC-FAOD and evaluate the impact of UX007 on clinical events associated with LC-FAOD.
NCT01956773
The outcome of this research will be a demonstration that family health history (FHH) risk data can be used efficiently to deliver more effective healthcare in geographically and ethnically diverse clinical care environments. Although FHH is a standard component of the medical interview its widespread adoption is hindered by three major barriers: (1) a dearth of standard collection methods; (2) the absence of health care provider access to complete FHH information; and (3) the need for clinical guidance for the interpretation and use of FHH. In addition, the time constraints of the busy provider and poor integration of FHH with paper medical records or electronic medical records (EMR) impede its widespread use. The investigators hypothesize that patient-driven and electronic collection of FHH for risk stratification will promote more informed decision-making by patients and providers, and improves adherence to risk-stratified preventive care guidelines. The study team will use an implementation sciences approach to integrate an innovative FHH system that collects FHH from patients. Intermountain Healthcare will provide the information technology expertise with EMR design to develop an innovative solution to a storage model standard for FHH data as well as a centralized standards-compliant open clinical decision support (OpenCDS) rule development architecture to analyze FHH and to generate evidence-based, individualized, disease risk, preventive care recommendations for both patients and providers.
NCT03182998
This randomized phase III trial studies how well decision aids work in improving knowledge in patients with prostate cancer. Decision aids may improve patients' knowledge of their condition and options for treatment, and may also help when talking with their doctor.
NCT05135910
The key objective is to establish the efficacy, safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetics of investigational drug Hallux Terbinafine Subungual Gel (HSG) administered over 44 weeks to patients with distal-lateral subungual onychomycosis (DLSO).
NCT05266430
This is a prospective multicenter, group-matched study of patients with primary indeterminate lesions or choroidal melanoma who receive treatment with belzupacap sarotalocan (bel-sar; AU-011) and patients who are planned to receive standard of care (SOC) treatment with plaque radiotherapy (plaque) to compare the visual outcomes of AU-011 and plaque radiotherapy.
NCT03602079
Open-label, Phase I-II, first-in-human (FIH) study for A166 monotherapy in HER2-expressing or amplified patients who progressed on or did not respond to available standard therapies. Patients must have documented HER2 expression or amplification. The patient must have exhausted available standard therapies. Patients will receive study drug as a single IV infusion. Cycles will continue until disease progression or unacceptable toxicity.
