Groups 1, 2, 4, 5 and 6 will receive triple combination treatment with HCV polymerase inhibitor pro-drug (at doses of 500, 1000 or 1500mg po bid) plus PEGASYS (90 or 180 micrograms sc weekly) plus Copegus (1000 or 1200mg po qd) for 24 weeks, followed by 24 weeks of open label Standard of Care (PEGASYS 180 micrograms sc weekly plus Copegus 1000/1200mg po qd). Group 3 will receive HCV polymerase inhibitor pro-drug 500mg po bid plus PEGASYS 180 micrograms sc weekly plus Copegus 1000/1200mg po qd for 24 weeks; after 24 weeks, those achieving a rapid virological response (RVR) will stop all medication, and non-RVR patients will remain on triple combination for an additional 24 weeks. Group 7 will receive standard of care (SOC) for 48 weeks. There will be a 24 week period of treatment-free follow-up for all treatment groups. The anticipated time on study treatment is 3-12 months, and the target sample size is 100-500 individuals.
NCT01577173
This phase II, open-label, randomized study will evaluate the efficacy and safety of MEHD7945A versus cetuximab in patients with recurrent/metastatic squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck who have progressed during or following platinum-based chemotherapy. Patients will be randomized to receive either MEHD7945A 1100 mg intravenously (iv) every 2 weeks or cetuximab 400 mg/m2 iv loading dose followed by 250 mg/m2 iv weekly. Patients treated with cetuximab (Arm B) may cross-over to MEHD7945A (Arm A) upon central confirmation of progressive disease and upon meeting eligibility criteria. Anticipated time on study treatment is until disease progression or intolerable toxicity occurs.
NCT01220947
This randomized, open-label, active-controlled, parallel-group study will evaluate the sustained virological response of danoprevir boosted with low dose ritonavir in combination with Pegasys (peginterferon alfa-2a) and Copegus versus Pegasys and Copegus alone in treatment-naive patients with chronic Hepatitis C.
NCT02544204
To investigate the efficacy of the administration of JVS-100 delivered via direct intramuscular injections on a 3 month and 6 month composite endpoint of wound progression, healing and limb loss in patients with severe peripheral arterial disease with non-healing chronic wounds who undergo an open bypass grafting or endovascular procedure for treatment of infrapopliteal disease and are dosed within 12 days and 3 months following the procedure.
NCT01609140
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and cholesterol lowering effects of MPSK3169A when given as subcutaneous (SC) injections over a 24-week period to patients with a high risk of cardiovascular events and LDL-c levels well above goal.
NCT00423878
The study will compare the effectiveness of antipsychotic medications for patients with schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder for whom a medication change may be indicated because of an increased risk of cardiovascular disease.
NCT01258907
This is a Phase II (proof-of-activity), double-blind, placebo-controlled, randomized, multicenter study of MLDL1278A (also known as BI-204) involving patients on standard-of-care therapy for atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease with evidence of vascular inflammation, as quantified by FDG-PET/CT.
