NCT03231306
This is a phase II open label study that will evaluate children ≥ 1 year of age and adults with neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF1) and plexiform neurofibromas treated with the MEK inhibitor, binimetinib. NCT04741646
We will conduct a 12-month, double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled trial to assess the effects of therapy with ferric citrate (FC) on changes in intact FGF23 levels (iFGF23, primary endpoint) in 160 pediatric patients (80 in each of the two arms) aged 6-18 years of either sex with chronic kidney disease (CKD) stages 3-4 and age-appropriate normal serum phosphate levels. Participants will be randomized to one of the two groups: 1) FC or 2) FC placebo. Participants will be recruited from 20 core clinical sites.
NCT06465745
This is a prospective, single arm, multicenter, clinical trial designed to evaluate the safety and performance of the AltaValve System for the treatment of mitral regurgitation in a targeted patient population.
NCT06333028
A Study to Evaluate the enVista® Aspire (EA) intraocular lens in Subjects Undergoing Cataract Extraction
NCT04208412
This study is a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, phase II, cross-over clinical trial evaluating the efficacy and safety of KVD900, in the treatment of hereditary angioedema attacks in adult subjects.
NCT00447980
The purpose of this study is to look at the safety and effectiveness of CNTF implants on vision in persons with retinitis pigmentosa, Usher type II \& III, and Choroideremia. This research is being done because there are no effective therapies for people with these retinal degenerations. They are genetic disorders that affect one's ability to see at night, and later cause tunnel vision and loss of central vision. Retinal degenerations affect the retina, a light sensitive layer of cells in the back of the eye. Slowly over time, these cells die and cause permanent loss of vision. The implant is a small capsule that contains human retinal pigment epithelium cells. These cells have been given the ability to make CNTF and release it through the capsule membrane into the surrounding fluid. In this study, two different CNTF dose levels will be used: a high dose and a low dose in one eye, as well as a sham (or placebo) surgery in the other eye.
NCT03998657
This extended clinical investigation is a multicenter, prospective, single arm study intended to provide continued access of the Exablate Model 2100 device (Exablate Prostate) to patients for treatment of prostate lesions and collect additional safety and effectiveness data during the 510(k) preparation and review period.
NCT05644977
The primary purpose of the study is to evaluate the safety and tolerability of emraclidine administered orally to healthy elderly participants in Part A (multiple ascending doses) and participants with dementia due to Alzheimer's disease (AD) in Part B.
NCT02476916
Study AG348-C-003 is a multicenter study designed to evaluate the safety and efficacy of different dose levels of AG-348 (mitapivat) in participants with PK deficiency.
NCT05757492
This phase 1 open-label study will evaluate the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics (PK), and preliminary efficacy of CHS-006 in combination with toripalimab in 2 phases. Phase 1 (Dose Optimization phase) will explore 2 different dose combinations in participants with advanced/metastatic solid tumors (except pancreatic) and Phase 2 (Indication-specific Expansion phase) will use one selected dose in specific tumor types (non-small cell lung cancer-non squamous \[NSCLC-NS\] and Hepatocellular carcinoma \[HCC\])
NCT05080218
The COVID-19 VaccinE Response in Rheumatology patients (COVER) study is a multicenter randomized controlled trial designed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of a mRNA COVID-19 vaccine supplemental dose (booster) in patients with autoimmune conditions and to evaluate the impact of different immunomodulatory therapies on vaccine response. The investigators propose to recruit up to 1000- patients with autoimmune conditions who have a completed 2-dose regime of mRNA COVID-19 vaccine (\>28 days prior) and who are planning to receive an additional dose of mRNA COVID-19 vaccine (i.e., booster). Participants in this study will be men and women 18 years and older with confirmed rheumatic disease, including psoriatic arthritis (PsA), axial spondyloarthritis (SpA) and rheumatoid arthritis (RA) who express a decision to receive the mRNA vaccination booster within 30 days post enrollment. A primary objective of this study is to test the hypothesis that holding certain medications for a brief period of time around the time of COVID-19 vaccination might improve the response to the vaccine while not unduly having safety concerns with respect to the effects of their disease. During the study, participants using the immunomodulatory therapies described outlined in protocol will be randomized to temporarily hold (for 2 weeks) versus continue after they receive the COVID-19 vaccine supplemental dose. Patients who temporarily stop one of their medications for their autoimmune inflammatory disease may be at increased risk of flares of their autoimmune condition. If these occur, they are expected to occur within 2 - 4 weeks of treatment interruption. Detailed protocol outlines the hold schedules for the therapies to be randomized in this study.
NCT05505578
The goal of "GamerFit" is to test the delivery of a theory-based mHealth app that utilizes social support, exergaming, and telehealth coaching to improve PA levels, sleep, and psychiatric symptoms among youth participants (ages 13-17 y) with PD. In order to aid future intervention optimization, up to 65 participants with at least one PD will be randomized, with 30-35 using the GamerFit app with weekly telehealth coaching sessions and 30-35 using a commercial healthy habits app as a comparator group
NCT06954805
The purpose of this study is to find out if there is a benefit to giving rituximab with etoposide, prednisone, vincristine, cyclophosphamide and doxorubicin (R-EPOCH) in participants who have high-risk B-cell PTLD in their 2nd phase of treatment (consolidation) while those with low-risk disease will be spared of chemotherapy and treated with rituximab consolidation alone. This study is also being done to find out about the usefulness of circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA), a novel blood test which, has been shown to help guide treatment decisions in other types of lymphoma. The goal is to answer the question if ctDNA is a viable and informative tool in treating PTLD with the hope that in the future it may be used to individualize study treatment for participants with PTLD in a way that limits study treatment toxicity without losing the effectiveness of the treatment plan.
NCT05980013
The study is a prospective, non-randomized, non-blinded, non-significant risk study enrolling up to 60 healthy adult subjects consented to undergo a 1-unit whole blood draw procedure. Subjects will wear the study device (CM-1500) while positioned in either a supine or reclined position during the blood draw and study-required physiological parameters will be captured pre-, during, and post-donation.
