NCT03618953
This is a Phase 1/1b open-label dose escalation trial of Ad/MG1-E6E7 and sequential treatment with atezolizumab in patients with HPV associated cancers. This study will consist of two arms. Both arms will dose escalate (MG1-E6E7) using a 3 + 3 design in Phase 1 to establish initial safety and the maximum tolerated dose (MTD) / maximum feasible dose (MFD). * Arm 1 - intravenous (IV) administration of MG1-E6E7 following intramuscular (IM) AD-E6E7 priming and subsequent treatment with IV atezolizumab. * Arm 2 - intratumoral (IT) and IV injection of MG1-E6E7 following (IM) Ad-E6E7 priming and subsequent treatment with IV atezolizumab. In the Phase 1b expansion for each arm, additional patients will be enrolled at the MTD as determined in Phase 1 in order to more thoroughly explore immune response, pharmacokinetics/dynamics, and safety for the patient populations with Cervical cancer, HPV positive (HPV+) Oropharyngeal cancer (Phase 1B, Arm 1, Cohorts A and B respectively) and HPV+ tumors with injectable lesions (Phase 1B, Arm 2, Cohort 3).

NCT03542760
This prospective, observational registry aims to collect real-world data regarding the safety and efficacy of ProvayBlue® (methylene blue 0.5%) used according to normal standard of care for the treatment of acquired methemoglobinemia. Methylene blue has been used for decades as a rescue medication for the treatment of methemoglobinemia, a rare and potentially life-threatening condition in which elevated levels of methemoglobin impede the delivery of oxygen from blood to body tissues. However, consistent prospective data about the safety and efficacy of this medication are sparse, simply because of the rarity of the disorder. ProvayBlue® received accelerated FDA approval for treatment of acquired methemoglobinemia in 2016. This large, prospective, multi-center observational registry has been initiated to gain more information on the use of methylene blue in the treatment of acquired methemoglobinemia.
NCT04906174
This study investigates the effect of materials used in subcuticular suture on patients' outcomes after surgery. The prevention of surgical site wound infection is important to decrease the length of hospital stay and the post-operative risk of incisional hernia, especially in patients undergoing open hepatectomy (surgical removal of the liver). The purpose of this study is to compare the impact of the use of Quill versus Monocryl for subcuticular suture on patients' outcomes after surgery.
NCT04751422
This study collects data on the use of radiofrequency ablation and cement augmentation for the treatment of cancer that has spread to the spine (metastases to the spine). Radiofrequency ablation with cement augmentation is a useful approach for the treatment of secondary metastasis to the spine. Information collected in this study may help doctors to learn the effectiveness of this therapy, and may help to evaluate optimal technique, appropriate patient selection, and management of complications.
NCT03584737
This study is conducted to evaluate the performance of a rapid, point-of-care in vitro diagnostic device (Sinu-Test®) for the qualitative detection of the three most common pathogens responsible for causing bacterial sinusitis.
NCT05805449
The purpose of this study is to compare the clinical effectiveness of augmenting surgical repair of complex anal fistula using autologous PRP and/or micronized acellular porcine urinary bladder matrix (UBM) to usual surgical care alone to prevent fistula recurrence or improve HRQoL, to compare the effects of augmenting surgical repair of complex anal fistula using autologous PRP and/or micronized acellular porcine urinary bladder matrix on early postoperative pain and fecal continence and to assess the cost utility of augmented complex fistula repair relative to usual surgical care
NCT00885326
RATIONALE: Monoclonal antibodies, such as bevacizumab, can block tumor growth in different ways. Some block the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Others find tumor cells and help kill them or carry tumor-killing substances to them. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as cyclophosphamide, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. Zoledronic acid may stop the growth of tumor cells in bone. Giving bevacizumab together with cyclophosphamide and zoledronic acid may kill more tumor cells. PURPOSE: This phase I trial is studying the side effects of giving bevacizumab together with cyclophosphamide and zoledronic acid in treating patients with recurrent or refractory high-risk neuroblastoma.
NCT03113461
The purpose of this project is to determine whether obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) treatment with positive airway pressure therapy (CPAP) can delay the progression of cognitive impairment in patients with amnestic Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) as measured by cognitive testing, and brain magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans. Study participants will be assessed at baseline, six-month (cognitive tests only) and one-year follow-up.
NCT04877847
Multi-center randomized trial to assess the safety and performance of low-frequency therapeutic ultrasound for maintaining renal function after contrast exposure.
NCT04001803
Chronic human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection in adults continues to be characterized by increased development of resistant virus, increased transmission of resistant virus and issues associated with the long-term toxicity of anti-retroviral therapy (ART), despite advances in development of new ART, which provides extensive insight in management of HIV-infected individuals. Cabotegravir (CAB) is a potent integrase inhibitor (INI) and rilpivirine (RPV) is a potent non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NNRTI). A two-drug regimen (DR)with CAB plus RPV long acting (LA) product offers many potential advantages over daily oral regimens including better tolerability, improved compliance, adherence, less likely to develop resistance, and overall treatment satisfaction in virologically suppressed subjects. This is a single-arm, open-label, multicenter, short term facilitation study to evaluate the effect of an implementation strategy on the degree of acceptability, appropriateness, feasibility, fidelity and sustainability of clinical practices to deliver the CAB+RPV LA regimen to HIV infected subjects and to also measure subject satisfaction by recording timeliness of visits, length of visit and their education. Approximately 135 subjects will be enrolled in the study and the total duration of the study will be approximately 52-weeks.
NCT05558085
The goal of this integrated project is to assess whether EFNEP is a cost-effective nutrition education intervention that generates sustained improvement in chronic disease biomarkers. This project will be unique in its use of objective biomarkers, instead of self-reported behaviors, to quantify the economic benefits generated by EFNEP through chronic disease prevention. A paired location untreated control group quasi-experimental design will be employed, with biomarkers (BMI, blood pressure, HbA1c) measured for 500 adults across four representative state EFNEP programs (CO, FL, MD, WA). Biomarkers will be measured pre-EFNEP, 6-months-post-EFNEP and 1-year-post-EFNEP. Analytical techniques will include cost-benefit, bivariate, and multivariate analyses.
