NCT04334317
It is hoped that TAK-071 will help people with Parkinson's disease to walk with better balance. The main aim of the study is to check if there is a difference in how participants walk after treatment with TAK-071. Another aim is to see if it improves how participants think and remember. At the first visit, the study doctor will check who can take part. Participants who can take part will be picked for 1 of 2 groups by chance. Both groups will have 2 treatments but in a different order. The treatments are TAK-071 tablets or placebo. In this study, a placebo will look like the TAK-071 but will not have any medicine in it. One group will take TAK-071 for 6 weeks, have at least a 3-week break, then take a placebo for 6 weeks. The other group will take a placebo for 6 weeks, have at least a 3-week break, then take TAK-071 for 6 weeks. The participants will not know the order of their 2 treatments, nor will their study doctors. This is to help make sure the results are more reliable. The participants will visit the clinic at the beginning and end of each treatment for a check-up. 14 days after the 2nd treatment, clinic staff will telephone the participants for a final check-up.
NCT05058664
The researchers seek to develop a text message intervention for caregivers of adolescents at elevated suicide risk following discharge from emergency department (ED) care.
NCT04605484
The purpose of this study is to compare Posoleucel (formerly known as ALVR105; Viralym-M) to placebo in kidney transplant recipients who have high or low levels of BK virus in their blood.
NCT04644783
The aim of this study is to validate a blood test that can identify safe foods for food protein-induced enterocolitis syndrome (FPIES). This study proposes a solution to the problems of FPIES by developing a new blood assay that screens a large number of foods (more than 20) in a culture plate. If this blood test is successful it may be able to identify safe foods more quickly. The study will recruit 10 participants that will have more than 2 trigger foods.
NCT03779841
This was a multi-center, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, parallel group, dose-ranging study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of botulinum toxin type A (AGN-151607) injections into the epicardial fat pads, foci of ganglionic plexi, to prevent Post-Operative Atrial Fibrillation (POAF) in patients undergoing open-chest cardiac surgery.
NCT04657016
This is a study of tirzepatide in participants with obesity. The purpose of this study is to learn more about how tirzepatide maintains body weight or adds to weight loss after an intensive lifestyle modification program. The study will last about 2 years (29 visits).
NCT04390113
Study to Evaluate Viralym-M (ALVR105) for the Treatment of Virus-Associated Hemorrhagic Cystitis (HC).
NCT05305040
This is a Phase 3 study to evaluate posoleucel (ALVR105, Viralym-M); an allogeneic, off-the-shelf multi-virus specific T cell therapy that targets six viral pathogens: BK virus, cytomegalovirus, adenovirus, Epstein-Barr virus, human herpesvirus 6 and JC virus.
NCT03371082
Primary Objective: •To evaluate equivalence of Gan \& Lee Insulin Glargine Injection and Lantus® in terms of immunogenicity Secondary Objective: Immunogenicity: • To evaluate the percentage of subjects with negative anti-insulin antibodies (AIAs) at baseline who develop confirmed positive AIA up to Week 26, the percentage of baseline in AIA titers between treatment groups, the percentage of subjects with confirmed positive AIA who develop any anti-insulin neutralizing antibodies up to visit Week 26, and percentage of subjects who develop confirmed positive AIA up to visit Week 26 of Gan \& Lee Insulin Glargine Injection in comparison with that of Lantus®. Safety: •To evaluate the safety of Gan \& Lee Insulin Glargine Injection in comparison with that of Lantus®. Efficacy: •To evaluate the efficacy of Gan \& Lee Insulin Glargine Injection in comparison with that of Lantus®.
NCT05262517
The purpose of this study is to compare the efficacy and safety of rimegepant versus placebo in the acute treatment of Temporomandibular Disorders (TMD), which are medical conditions involving the temporomandibular joint (the joint connecting the jawbone to the skull) and surrounding muscles and tissues.
NCT03568331
This is a multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study to be conducted in the United States in subjects with atopic dermatitis.
NCT02946463
The primary purpose of this study was to assess the noninferiority of ravulizumab compared to eculizumab in adult participants with PNH who had never been treated with a complement inhibitor (treatment-naïve).
NCT04750902
The objective of this study is to assess the safety and to evaluate the anti-caries efficacy of COL101 (arginine) non-fluoride dentifrices compared to a 0.24% sodium fluoride dentifrice in 10-14 year-old children over a one year period.
NCT04140695
NCT04345900
To assess the duration of severe neutropenia (DSN) in treatment Cycle 1 in patients treated with docetaxel (75 mg/m2) + plinabulin (5, 10, or 20 mg/m2) or with docetaxel (75 mg/m2) + pegfilgrastim (6 mg). Neutrophils count was to be assessed at baseline (prior to Cycle 1 docetaxel dose) and during Cycle 1 on Days 1, 2, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 15 (pre-dose on dosing days; times equivalent to pre dose on other days).
NCT06054425
The objective of this study is to assess the bioavailability of risankizumab liquid vial manufactured with the new process (CMC3) relative to the current process (CMC2).
NCT02525198
There is a dearth of research which takes a multi-compound approach to dietary interventions, in humans, aimed at improving outcome measures of cognition. Animal research in particular points towards fatty acids and flavonoids having a potentiating effect on each other, and possibly even being synergistic. Thus, study products will be administered in the present trial comprising both of these compounds, with a view to investigating their potential effects on cognition in older adults with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) or subjective memory impairment (SMI).
NCT02802982
Parents of infants who have been thrombocytopenic for 3-4 days will be approached for consent to enter the study. For the purposes of the study, thrombocytopenia will be defined as a platelet count \<60,000/uL or a platelet count \<100,000/uL that prompted a platelet transfusion. Following enrollment, the platelet count will be followed in each infant. Participants will enter the study if on day 5 or later after the onset of thrombocytopenia (defined as above) infants either have a platelet count \<60,000/uL or a platelet count \<100,000/uL for which a platelet transfusion is ordered.
NCT05079711
The purpose of this study is to establish lay user performance criteria for the SavvyCheck Vaginal Yeast Test in comparison to standard vaginal yeast culture and identification method for Candida (the Reference Method). Polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and sequencing of fungi will be used as an aid to explain the nature of the discrepancy in the case of discordant results between the lay user-performed SavvyCheck Vaginal Yeast Test and standard vaginal yeast culture and identification method for Candida.
