NCT00488514
This study was designed to determine long-term safety of TREXIMET (sumatriptan/naproxen sodium) in adolescents for the acute treatment of migraine.
NCT01342926
The purpose of this study is to determine the safety and efficacy of GSK933776 in the treatment of geographic atrophy secondary to age-related macular degeneration.
NCT00836992
RATIONALE: Gathering information about patients' quality of life during radiation therapy for cancer may help doctors plan the best treatment. PURPOSE: This randomized clinical trial is studying quality of life in patients undergoing radiation therapy for primary lung cancer, head and neck cancer, or gastrointestinal cancer.
NCT00434213
This is a study designed to characterize the dermal response of DAYTRANA. Subjects will visit the study site over a period of approximately 14 weeks.
NCT02057250
Primary Objective: To collect real-use data of the sarilumab auto-injector device (AID) used by rheumatoid arthritis (RA) participants. Secondary Objective: To compare the pharmacokinetic (PK) exposure of sarilumab administered by AID versus prefilled syringes (PFS).
NCT02121210
Primary Objective: To evaluate the immunogenicity of sarilumab administered as monotherapy. Secondary Objectives: * To evaluate the other safety aspects of sarilumab administered as monotherapy. * To assess the exposure of sarilumab administered as monotherapy.
NCT00925600
This is a phase 3, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study to evaluate new or worsening lens opacifications in men with non-metastatic prostate cancer receiving denosumab for bone loss due to androgen deprivation therapy.
NCT00642616
Examine the effects of TI in combination with an anti-diabetic regimen including inhaled insulin versus anti-diabetic treatment without inhaled insulin on lung function \& pulmonary safety
NCT01254565
The purpose of this study is to characterize the safety and tolerability and efficacy of multiple ascending doses of etelcalcetide in hemodialysis patients for the treatment of secondary hyperparathyroidism (HPT).
NCT00351468
An open-label, dose-adjustment, extension study to evaluate the safety and efficacy of eltrombopag for the treatment of subjects with idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP) who have previously been enrolled in an eltrombopag trial. This study will allow adjustment of the eltrombopag dose to achieve an individualized dose and schedule for each subject. In addition, the ability to reduce the dose of concomitant ITP medications in the presence of eltrombopag, while maintaining platelet counts = 50,000/μL will be investigated.
NCT01453491
The purpose of this research study is to: * 1\) Test the safety and tolerability of 2 different oral doses of SRT2104 in subjects with ulcerative colitis * 2\) Determine the amount of SRT2104 measured from a single blood sample in addition to colon and/or rectal tissue samples (biopsies) * 3\) Determine whether SRT2104 has any anti-inflammatory effect on the colon and/or rectum when taken orally for 8 weeks * 4\) Determine whether SRT2104 causes any detectable changes to specific biomarkers. A biomarker is a biological marker (or substance such as a protein) that is used as an indicator of changes in a biological state that corresponds to the risk or progression of a disease.
NCT01267240
This partially randomized phase II trial studies giving capecitabine and vorinostat in treating patients with head and neck cancer that has come back after previous treatment or that has spread to other areas in the body. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as capecitabine, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. Vorinostat may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. It is not yet known whether giving capecitabine together with vorinostat is more effective than capecitabine alone in treating patients with cancer of the head and neck cancer.
NCT02284243
The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the analgesic efficacy, on Post-Operative Day (POD) 1, of DEX-IN compared with placebo, using the summed pain intensity difference over the first 48 hours (SPID48) in subjects with acute moderate to severe pain following unilateral bunionectomy.
NCT01694199
Multicenter, randomized, controlled, double-blind study to evaluate the use of 3 days of pulsed radiofrequency energy (PRFE) to treat pain after bunionectomy surgery.
NCT00494507
The purpose of this study is to compare Dichlorphenamide with placebo (an inactive substance) for prevention of episodes and for improvement of strength in hyperkalemic (HYP) and hypokalemic (HOP) periodic paralysis. This study will also look at the long-term effects of Dichlorphenamide in periodic paralysis.
NCT01821118
Cerebral Amyloid Angiopathy (CAA) is a condition caused by the build-up of a protein called amyloid, predominantly Aβ40, within the walls of brain blood vessels, especially those blood vessels in the occipital lobe of the brain. Probable CAA may be defined as two or more hemorrhages in the brain cortex in individuals 55 years of age or older. This study will examine the study drug (PF-04360365) vs. placebo (saline) at 10 mg/kg - Day 1 and the maintenance dose of the study drug (PF-04360365) vs. placebo (saline) at 7.5mg/kg on Days 30 and 60. Subjects will be followed for 6 months after receiving the last dose of study medication.
NCT02511613
The purpose of this study is to evaluate anatomical and functional effect of combination therapy of Squalamine Lactate Ophthalmic Solution, 0.2% administered twice daily with monthly ranibizumab intravitreal injections in patients with choroidal neovascularization due to AMD.
NCT01667679
This study is being conducted to determine if OPTINOSE SUMATRIPTAN delivered nasally (through the nose) using the OPTINOSE SUMATRIPTAN DEVICE can reduce the pain associated with migraine headaches in 30 minutes after use.
NCT00346151
Belatacept is an experimental medication shown in clinical trials to have immune system suppression properties in people who have had renal (e.g., kidney) transplants. This study will determine whether a combination of anti-rejection drugs, including belatacept, can prevent the rejection of a first-time, non-human leukocyte antigen (HLA) identical renal transplant and allow patients to be safely withdrawn from anti-rejection therapy one year post-transplant.
