NCT02665065
The primary objective of this study is to demonstrate the efficacy of Iomab-B, in conjunction with a Reduced Intensity Conditioning (RIC) regimen and protocol-specified allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplant (HCT), versus Conventional Care in patients with Active, Relapsed or Refractory Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML).
NCT04992494
The researchers propose a two-arm pilot study of telephone and video delivered Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT-T and MBCT-V) in people with migraine and depressive symptoms.
NCT03943160
The objective of this study is to evaluate acute clinical results of orbital atherectomy (OA) via radial artery access, including complication rates and cost effectiveness.
NCT04187144
The study will be conducted to evaluate the therapeutic response (combined per participant microbiological and clinical response) of oral gepotidacin compared to oral nitrofurantoin for treatment of uncomplicated UTI (acute cystitis) in adolescent and adult female participants.
NCT04335461
The investigators propose to investigate the effect of intraoperative FICB and intrafragmentary fracture blockade on postoperative pain and opiate consumption using a randomized controlled trial study design. There will be three treatment groups: (1) fascia iliaca compartment blockade administered after surgical fixation using the loss of resistance technique with 30cc 0.25% marcaine (2) intrafragmentary fracture block using fluoroscopy guidance after surgical fixation with 30cc 0.25% marcaine and (3) placebo group, with no intervention.
NCT03525613
This is a 24-month, Phase III, multicenter, randomized, double-masked, sham-injection controlled study to assess the efficacy and safety of multiple IVT injections of APL-2 in subjects with GA secondary to AMD.
NCT04656145
This study aims to evaluate if the application of chlorhexidine gluconate dressing on surgical drain sites can decrease drain site infection vs the standard of care (dry, sterile gauze).
NCT05135195
In this study, the study team utilize virtual reality (VR) to simulate visual impairments of different types and severity in healthy subjects. The platform implements three of the most widespread forms of visual impairment in the United States (US): age-related macular degeneration (AMD), diabetic retinopathy (DR), and glaucoma, each with three levels of severity, (mild, moderate, and severe). At present, glaucoma is further developed toward a multidimensional visual impairment simulation. The platform is utilized: i) to provide a safe, controllable, and repeatable set of environments for development and preliminary testing of electronic travel aids (ETAs) in a variety of conditions (i.e., using the ETA to navigate in the immersed environment); and ii) to equip blind and low vision (BVI) professionals, inclusive of orientation and mobility (O\&M) instructors, with a controlled, tunable training platform for skill/capacity building, assessment, and refinement of O\&M techniques, as well as visually impaired trainees with a safe and immersive environment to improve their O\&M skills and learn novel techniques. Two sets of hypothesis-driven experiments are proposed to assess the feasibility of the platform with respect to these two objectives.
NCT04406649
Study STS101-003 is a multi-center, multiple dose (PRN), open-label, 12-month study to evaluate the safety and tolerability of STS101 (dihydroergotamine nasal powder) in the acute treatment of migraine.
NCT04850573
The study will examine the effects of eight weeks of equine assisted activities (EAA) on co-regulation, basal physiological values, and symptom severity in veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Heart rate, respiration rate, surface electromyography (EMG) and plasma concentrations of cortisol, epinephrine, norepinephrine, and oxytocin will be measured at rest and during dyadic interaction tasks (human to human or human to horse) to assess effects of EAA on these measures. Additionally, standard and regularly used questionnaires will be used to monitor PTSD symptom severity during the study and 6-month follow-up period. EAA is expected to lower PTSD symptom severity, and mitigate other physiological changes associated with PTSD.
NCT04523220
In this study researchers want to learn about the safety of drug Osocimab at lower-dose and higher-doses in adult participants with kidney disease undergoing regular dialysis (a procedure that uses a machine to get rid of toxins and extra fluids in the blood). Patients with kidney disease undergoing regular dialysis are at high risk for heart and blood vessels diseases. Osocimab is a human monoclonal antibody under development for the prevention of events caused by blood clots like heart attack, stroke and death due to heart or blood vessels diseases. It works by binding to and blocking the activated form of clotting factor XI which increases the formation and stability of clots. Researchers also want to find out how drug Osocimab works in human body and how the body absorbs, distributes and excretes the drug. Participants in this study will receive monthly injection of either Osocimab at a lower-dose or higher-dose or placebo (a placebo looks like a treatment but does not have any medicine in it). Both Osocimab and placebo will be injected into the tissue under the skin of the belly. Observation for each participant will last up to 23 months. Blood samples will be collected from the participants to monitor the safety and measure the blood level of the study drug.
NCT04747197
Phase 1 open-label study to assess the bioactivity, ocular and systemic safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetics of a single dose injections of EYP-1901 at three dose levels: 440 µg, 2060 µg and 3090 µg in subjects with Wet Age Related Macular Degeneration (wAMD)
NCT02214160
The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the long-term safety and efficacy of UX007 in participants with LC-FAOD. The secondary objectives of this study are to evaluate the effect of UX007 on energy metabolism in LC-FAOD and evaluate the impact of UX007 on clinical events associated with LC-FAOD.
NCT03770403
This is a Long-Term, Single-Arm, Open-Label, Multicenter Phase 3 follow-on trial of the ARGX-113-1704 study to evaluate the safety and tolerability of ARGX-113 in patients with gMG. Patients who have completed at least 1 cycle of treatment and at least 1 year of trial ARGX-113-1705 and have started Part B are eligible to enroll in the open-label trial ARGX-113-2002 to receive efgartigimod by SC administration.
NCT03911492
This multicenter study will enroll 100 patients with acute traumatic cervical and thoracic SCI who have a lumbar intrathecal catheter inserted within 24 hours of their injury. The lumbar intrathecal catheter will be inserted pre-operatively for the measurement of ITP and the collection of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) samples. SCPP will be calculated as the difference between MAP and the ITP. There are two important distinct yet related objectives in this prospective interventional study. 1. Determine the effect of SCPP maintenance ≥ 65 mmHg in acute SCI on neurologic recovery as measured by ASIA Impairment Scale (AIS) grade conversion and motor score improvement. 2. Collect CSF and blood samples for the measurement of neurochemical biomarkers and storage for future biomarker discovery and validation studies.
NCT03861481
The purpose of the study is to evaluate clinical efficacy of rozanolixizumab as a treatment for subjects with chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyradiculoneuropathy (CIDP).
