NCT03604978
This phase I/II trial studies the side effects and best dose of nivolumab when given together with multi-fraction stereotactic radiosurgery and to see how well they work with or without ipilimumab in treating patients with grade II-III meningioma that has come back (recurrent). Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as nivolumab and ipilimumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Stereotactic radiosurgery is a specialized radiation therapy that delivers a single, high dose of radiation directly to the tumor and may cause less damage to normal tissue. Giving nivolumab and multi-fraction stereotactic radiosurgery with or without ipilimumab may work better in treating patients with grade II-III meningioma.
NCT03871257
This phase III trial studies if selumetinib works just as well as the standard treatment with carboplatin/vincristine (CV) for subjects with NF1-associated low grade glioma (LGG), and to see if selumetinib is better than CV in improving vision in subjects with LGG of the optic pathway (vision nerves). Selumetinib is a drug that works by blocking some enzymes that low-grade glioma tumor cells need for their growth. This results in killing tumor cells. Chemotherapy drugs, such as carboplatin and vincristine, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. It is not yet known whether selumetinib works better in treating patients with NF1-associated low-grade glioma compared to standard therapy with carboplatin and vincristine.
NCT06253871
This is a Phase 1/1b open-label, multi-center dose escalation and dose optimization study designed to evaluate the safety and preliminary efficacy of IAM1363 in participants with advanced cancers that harbor HER2 alterations.
NCT03914300
This phase II trial studies how well cabozantinib, nivolumab, and ipilimumab work in treating patients with differentiated thyroid cancer that does not respond to radioactive iodine and that worsened after treatment with a drug targeting the vascular endothelial growth factor receptor (VEGFR), a protein needed to form blood vessels. Cabozantinib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as nivolumab and ipilimumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Giving cabozantinib, nivolumab and ipilimumab may work better than the usual approach consisting of chemotherapy with drugs such as doxorubicin, sorafenib, and lenvatinib for this type of thyroid cancer.
NCT04576117
This phase III trial investigates the best dose of vinblastine in combination with selumetinib and the benefit of adding vinblastine to selumetinib compared to selumetinib alone in treating children and young adults with low-grade glioma (a common type of brain cancer) that has come back after prior treatment (recurrent) or does not respond to therapy (progressive). Selumetinib is a drug that works by blocking a protein that lets tumor cells grow without stopping. Vinblastine blocks cell growth by stopping cell division and may kill cancer cells. Giving selumetinib in combination with vinblastine may work better than selumetinib alone in treating recurrent or progressive low-grade glioma.
NCT04340843
This phase II trial studies the effect of belinostat and SGI-110 (guadecitabine) or ASTX727 in treating patients with conventional chondrosarcoma that cannot be removed by surgery (unresectable) and has spread from where it first started (primary site) to other places in the body (metastatic). Belinostat may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Chemotherapy drugs, such as guadecitabine and ASTX727, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Giving belinostat in combination with guadecitabine or ASTX727 may lower the chance of unresectable and metastatic chondrosarcoma growing or spreading.
NCT04726241
This study aims to use clinical and biological characteristics of acute leukemias to screen for patient eligibility for available pediatric leukemia sub-trials. Testing bone marrow and blood from patients with leukemia that has come back after treatment or is difficult to treat may provide information about the patient's leukemia that is important when deciding how to best treat it, and may help doctors find better ways to diagnose and treat leukemia in children, adolescents, and young adults.
NCT05061004
The objective of this study is to evaluate the preliminary safety and effectiveness of the Cephea Mitral Valve System for the treatment of symptomatic patients with mitral valve disease (including mitral regurgitation, mitral stenosis and mixed mitral valve disease) in whom transcatheter therapy is deemed more appropriate than open heart surgery.
NCT07223762
The Hyperangulated versus Standard Geometry Laryngoscope Blade (ANGLE) Trial is a multi-center, non-blinded, parallel-group, randomized clinical trial evaluating the effect of use of a hyperangulated video laryngoscope blade versus use of a standard geometry video laryngoscope blade. Critically ill adults undergoing tracheal intubation in participating EDs and ICUs who meet eligibility criteria will be enrolled and randomly assigned in a 1:1 ratio to either intubation using a hyperangulated video laryngoscope blade or a standard geometry video laryngoscope blade. The primary outcome is the incidence of successful intubation on the first attempt. The secondary outcome is incidence of hypoxemia during the interval between induction and 2 minutes after tracheal intubation.
NCT06958211
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of ruxolitinib cream in participants with hidradenitis suppurativa.
NCT05386108
This is a multi-site, global, open-label study that includes a phase 1b evaluation of elacestrant in combination with abemaciclib in women and men with brain metastases from estrogen receptor (ER)-positive, human epidermal growth factor receptor-2 (HER-2) negative breast cancer. Phase 1b was designed to select the recommended phase 2 dose (RP2D) and is followed by an ongoing phase 2 evaluation of elacestrant in combination with abemaciclib in participants with active brain metastases from ER-positive, HER-2 negative breast cancer.
NCT06329401
A randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical study to evaluate the safety and efficacy of 2 doses of inhaled pirfenidone (AP01) versus placebo on top of standard of care in participants with PPF over 52 weeks.
NCT07379684
The goal of this Phase 1 clinical trial is to learn about the safety profile of Amicidin-β topical solution applied directly into infected surgical or traumatic wounds during a surgical procedure. The main questions it aims to answer are: 1. Is Amicidin-β topical solution safe to test in larger clinical trials? 2. Is Amicidin-β topical solution absorbed into the bloodstream from local wound application? 3. Is Amicidin-β topical solution easy for the surgeon to use? Participants will receive either standard of care alone, or standard of care with intrawound Amicidin-β topical solution for the management of their wound infection. Researchers will compare these two groups (standard of care alone to standard of care with Amicidin-β topical solution) to see if there are any study drug-related adverse effects.
NCT05272384
This phase I trial tests the safety, side effects, and best dose of nivolumab in combination with ASTX727 in treating B-cell lymphoma that has come back (relapsed) or does not respond to treatment (refractory). Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as nivolumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. ASTX727 consists of the combination of decitabine and cedazuridine. Cedazuridine is in a class of medications called cytidine deaminase inhibitors. It prevents the breakdown of decitabine, making it more available in the body so that decitabine will have a greater effect. Decitabine is in a class of medications called hypomethylation agents. It works by helping the bone marrow produce normal blood cells and by killing abnormal cells in the bone marrow. Giving nivolumab in combination with ASTX727 may shrink and stabilize cancer.
NCT04993755
This is a Phase 2a study to assess the the safety and tolerability of TPN-101 in patients with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) and/or Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD) Associated with Hexanucleotide Repeat Expansion in the C9orf72 gene (C9ORF72 ALS/FTD).
NCT05500807
Von Willebrand Disease (VWD) is the most common inherited bleeding disorder affecting up to 0.1% of the population, is usually characterized by mucocutaneous bleeding, HMB, surgical bleeding or other hemostatic challenges. Severe bleeding events require VWF concentrates administered solely through intravenous access. Emicizumab (Hemlibra) is a monoclonal bispecific antibody developed to bind activated FIX and FX and mimic FVIII cofactor functionality. Hemlibra is administered via subcutaneous injection rather than intravenous infusion. The hypothesis of this study is that Emicizumab is safe and efficacious for prophylaxis in severe VWD and concomitant VWD/hemophilia patients.
NCT07441642
