NCT07647055
This multicenter prospective cohort study will enroll adults who have undergone resection of a primary pulmonary nodule and have residual multiple pulmonary nodules or require routine postoperative pulmonary nodule follow-up. During clinically indicated follow-up visits, a small amount of peripheral venous blood will be collected at the same time as routine blood draws for research CyTOF immune phenotyping and viral imprinting-related serology. The study will not assign participants to treatment, change follow-up schedules, imaging, medication, surgery, or other clinical care. Research laboratory results will not be returned to participants or entered into medical records. The study will describe longitudinal peripheral immune-cell profiles and explore associations among T/B/NK cell phenotypes, T-cell differentiation and senescence/exhaustion markers, viral imprinting markers, and postoperative residual or new pulmonary nodule evolution.
NCT02169271
This randomized phase II trial studies acetylsalicylic acid compared to placebo in treating high-risk patients with subsolid lung nodules. A nodule is a growth or lump that may be malignant (cancer) or benign (not cancer). Chemoprevention is the use of drugs to keep cancer from forming or coming back. The use of acetylsalicylic acid may keep cancer from forming in patients with subsolid lung nodules.
NCT02983903
Purpose: Patients with peripheral lung nodules require evaluation for lung cancer. Our aim is to assess the diagnostic yield of a new technique, transbronchial cryobiopsies, in patients at risk for lung cancer. Target population: Patients referred for bronchoscopy and lung biopsies as a part of their work up for peripheral lung lesions. Procedures: Patients enrolled will have forceps transbronchial biopsies followed by transbronchial cryobiopsies for their lung lesion during bronchoscopy.
NCT04192201
The purpose of this study is to actively monitor patients with multiple pulmonary Ground-glass Nodules (GGNs), in order to provide evidence for multiple GGNs treatment.
NCT03795181
This study compares the sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of radiologists, thoracic surgeons and a predictive model (PKUM model) to discriminate malignancy from benign nodules in patients with multiple pulmonary nodules.
NCT01465425
The ACRIN 7151 trial will use medical records abstraction data from participants with extracolonic findings (ECFs) reported from the ACRIN 6664 National CT Colonography Trial to: 1) measure incidence of diagnostic imaging, hospitalization, and interventional procedures associated with ECFs reported on computed tomography colonography (CTC), delineated by type of ECF; 2) determine potential predictors of follow-up diagnostic imaging, hospitalization, and interventional procedures, delineated by type of ECF; and 3) evaluate the clinical/pathologic diagnoses associated with indeterminate but potentially significant ECFs. These data can be used to incorporate ECFs into existing models on the cost-effectiveness of CTC in colorectal cancer screening and can potentially be used to develop guidelines for the reporting and management of ECFs.
NCT02726633
A Study to evaluate the utility of the ProLung China Test as an adjunct to CT scan in the diagnosis of lung cancer.
NCT02468609
To investigate the diagnostic value of ultralow-dose computed tomography in the detection of pulmonary nodules and lung parenchym alterations (e.g. emphysema) compared to standard-dose-CT.
NCT01397045
Aim of this prospective randomized study is to assess the safety and efficacy of video-assisted lung segmentectomy (Group B) comparing with mini muscle-sparing thoracotomy (group A) during diagnostic process for pulmonary nodules.
NCT01958931
A Study to evaluate the utility of the ProLung Test as an adjunct to CT scan in the diagnosis of lung cancer.
