This study is a randomized, controlled experimental trial with a pretest-posttest design, conducted to evaluate the effects of Pecha Kucha-based education on self-efficacy, symptom level, and activities of daily living in individuals diagnosed with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) receiving noninvasive mechanical ventilation support. The study will include two groups, and intergroup differences will be evaluated: 1. Control group 2. Intervention group Study Hypotheses H1: Pecha Kucha-based education on noninvasive mechanical ventilation (NIMV) support provided to individuals with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) increases patients' self-efficacy levels. H2: Pecha Kucha-based education on noninvasive mechanical ventilation (NIMV) support provided to individuals with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) reduces patients' symptom levels. H3: Pecha Kucha-based education on noninvasive mechanical ventilation (NIMV) support provided to individuals with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) improves patients' activities of daily living.

This study evaluated psychological health in patients with myasthenia gravis (MG) using an online behavioral program called the "Positive Mental Health BMI Learning Program." The program consisted of four short video units focused on interpersonal support, emotional regulation, and personal meaning. Patients receiving care in the neurology outpatient clinic were invited to complete questionnaires before and after viewing the online program. Psychological well-being, depressive symptoms, daily functioning, and quality of life were assessed to describe participants' mental health status and changes observed over the course of the program.

The goal of this clinical trial is to determine whether a telehealth-delivered, geriatric assessment-guided supportive care program (GAIN-S) can improve health outcomes in older adults (age 65 and above) with solid tumors who are starting a new cancer treatment in Brazil. The main questions it aims to answer are: * Does GAIN-S improve physical function, as measured by activities of daily living (ADL), after three months? * Does GAIN-S reduce symptoms of depression and improve quality of life after three months? Researchers will compare patients receiving the GAIN-S intervention to those receiving standard care to see if the intervention leads to better physical function, fewer symptoms of depression, and improved quality of life. Participants will: * Complete a geriatric assessment (CARG-GA) before and after treatment. * Be randomized to either standard care or the GAIN-S intervention. * If assigned to GAIN-S, receive tailored supportive care via telehealth, which may include consultations with a psychologist, psychiatrist, nutritionist, geriatrician, exercise physiologist, or other specialists based on their needs.

Almost 2 to 3 out of every 1000 children have Cerebral palsy in Pakistan.Spastic type of CP is dominant about 75%, diplegia (40%) and hemiplegic are (35.5%).Spastic diplegics have tightness of lower limb more than upper limb.Their chief complaints are reduced mobility,impaired balance and coordination and lack of postural control and stability.Calisthenic training is sort of strengthening exercises in which patient use his/her own body weight as a resistance. Calisthenic training aims to reduce movement limitation,contracture formation and improves patient's mobility for daily transfers and ambulation,active participation of patient in indoor and outdoor activities and enhance postural stability and controle during routine tasks. The current study aims to determine the effects of calisthenic training on mobility and ADL performance in spastic diplegic cerebral palsy children aged 5-12 years fulfilling the GMFCS criteria levels 1-3. A randomized control trial will be conducted in multidisciplinary lab of FUCP, department of physical medicine and peads and rehabilitation of Fauji Foundation Hospital on the sample of 32 participants. The subjects will be randomized into two groups by sealed opaque envelope method. Baseline assessment would be done by using WEEFIM measurement assessment scale for mobility and ADL performance, pediatric balance assessment Scale for postural control. Data will be collected at baseline before intervention, after 3 weeks and finally after 6 weeks of intervention. Interventional group will be receiving calisthenic training and conventional physical therapy while control group will be receiving conventional physical therapy alone. Exercise training would be done for a total of 12 sessions for 6 weeks, twice a week with each session lasting 45 minutes. Analysis would be done by using SPSS version 21. Ethical approval will be obtained from ERC of FUSH. Informed written consent will be obtained from all participants.

While the participants will be supported by a web-based application within the intervention, they will receive standard care only in the control. The goal of this clinical trial is to test the impact of virtual reality on rehabilitation for the patients after a major amputation. The main questions it aims to answer are: * Does the virtual-reality-assisted rehabilitation improve the life quality of patients (i.e. lesser pain, better spirit)? * Does the virtual-reality-assisted rehabilitation improve the daily life function of the patients? Participants will received a virtual-reality-assisted rehabilitation on the second postoperative day for ten days. The rehabilitation would be carried out two times per day and 30 minutes per training.

This work aims to evaluate neurocognitive performance, daily activity and quality of life and local control among patients with brain metastasis (MBM) ≥ 5 due to solid tumors treated with Stereotactic RadioSurgery (SRS) or Whole Brain RadioTherapy (WBRT). This multicentric randomised controlled trial will be conducted at the Fondazione IOM (Viagrande) in collaboration with REM (Viagrande), Hospital G. Martino (Messina) and Hospital Civico ARNAS (Palermo). It will involve, within 5 years starting from 15 September 2020, the enrollment of 100 patients (50 for each arm) with MBM ≥ 5, age ≥ 18 years, Karnofsky Performance Status (KPS) ≥ 70, life expectancy \> 3 months, histological confirmation of primary tumor, with controlled or controllable extracranial disease, baseline Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) of 20/30, Barthel Activities of Daily Living score 90/100, to be subjected to SRS on each brain lesion by LINAC with monoisocentric technique and non-coplanar arcs (experimental arm) or to WBRT (control arm). The primary endpoints are neurocognitive performance, quality of life and autonomy in daily-life activities variations, the first one assessed by Moca Score and Hopkins Verbal Learning Test - Revised, the second one through the European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer Quality of Life Questionnaire Core 15 Palliative Care (EORTC QLQ-C15-PAL) and Brain Neoplasm (BN-20) questionnaires, the third one through the Barthel Index, respectively. The secondary endpoints are time to intracranial failure, overall survival, retreatments frequency, acute and late toxicities, KPS decrease. It will be considered significant a statistical difference of at least 29% between the two arms (statistical power of 80% with a significance level of 95%). This trial has been approved by the local ethics committee on July 7th 2020 (record 70). Several studies debate what is the predominant factor accountable for the development of neurocognitive decay among patients undergoing brain irradiation for MBM: radiotherapy, especially if extended to the entire brain, or intracranial disease progression? Answer to this question may come from current opportunity, thanks to recent technological advancement, to treat, with significant time savings, improved patient comfort and at the same time minimizing the dose to healthy brain tissue, Multiple Brain Metastasis simultaneously, otherwise attackable only by panencephalic irradiation. The pursuit of a local control rate comparable to that obtainable with WBRT remains the fundamental prerequisite for the aforementioned related assessments.

The purpose of this study is to determine and link cadence (the number of steps taken in a minute) to the intensity of physical activity (e.g. low-, moderate- and vigorous-intensity) in adults (21-85 years old). The investigators anticipate that cadence will be a good indicator of exercise intensity. Identifying how cadence relates to activity intensity will allow for physical activity guidelines to be communicated to the public in a manner that is more accessible to the lay person.

The rationale underlying this project is the fact that HA is a very common compensatory interven¬tion within municipality health care, undertaken to support an independent living in the own home. In addition, MD are frequently prescribed and used among HA clients in order to compensate for declined body functions. In spite of this, knowledge of their effects for the individual and the society is still scarce. In particular, systematic, evidence-based strategies based on clear-cut conceptual definitions and descriptions of procedures are lacking. Such strategies are crucial in order to evaluate the effects of HA and MD. In addition, longterm cost-effectiveness evaluations are crucial for policy implementation. The overarching aim is to investigate outcomes of HA on aspects of home and health for sub-groups of persons with disabilities. The specific aims are to: * Investigate the effects of HA on home and health related outcomes, i.e. usability, fear of falling, activity/participation and health-related quality of life for different subgroups of persons, e.g. MD users and non MD-users * Investigate the use of a new practice strategy for HA on home and health related outcomes for subgroups of persons with disabilities in terms of differences between municipalities * Investigate societal level outcomes of HA and MD, i.e. costs and quality adjusted life years * Gain a deeper understanding of the processes behind changes in outcomes We hypothesise that using a structure strategy for housing adaptation and mobility devices case management in ordinary practice in Swedish municipalities increase activity, participation, the usability of the home, and reduces societal costs.

The trend of diabetes prevalence was increased by comparing these two national surveys in 2009 and 2014. However, the studies only focused on the prevalence and risk of diabetes and non-communicable diseases in Myanmar. The study focused on the common complications of Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy (DPN) is rare. The studies in other countries showed high prevalence rate and under-diagnosis of DPN. Most of the patients with DPN did not complain about their symptoms because of without prominent symptoms. DPN is the major complication of diabetes. According to the international studies, DPN has the hidden epidemic and is the common causes which can lead to disability and decreased the quality of life in diabetes. Therefore, the study focused on the prevalence of DPN and its impact on the ADLs is obligatory as the descriptive study to explore the actual situation. Nursing care is not only for the patients in the hospital but also for the people in the community. Moreover, the nurses have to focus on all levels of prevention. Diabetes is the lifelong diseases and accessibility of health care for everyone with diabetes is a very important issue in the era with increased prevalence of diabetes. Therefore, we all have to focus not only on the primary prevention but also on the secondary and tertiary prevention of diabetes. The secondary and tertiary prevention in the diabetic patients also means the primary prevention of other diseases and disabilities (the complications of diabetes). For diabetic neuropathic patients, maintaining normal daily living is very important liked everyone. The objective of this study is to evaluate the prevalence of DPN and DPNP in type 2 diabetic patients and impact on the activities of daily living. The descriptive, cross-sectional study design will be used in this study. The inclusion criteria are the person aged over 25 years of age who had already diagnosed type 2 diabetes mellitus, taking any anti-glycemic treatment. The persons who are suffering from neuropathy and neuropathic pain other than diabetes, severe illness of diabetic patients, mental illness and alcoholism will be excluded from this study. The patients who meet the inclusion criteria and come to outpatient diabetic clinics at YGH, NOGH, EYGH, and WYGH will be chosen as a sample after obtaining informed consent. Data collection will be done at this outpatients diabetic clinic of these four hospitals. This study has already obtained ethical clearance from Nursing Science Ethical Review Committee, Graduate School of Health Sciences, Okayama University, Japan with the review number D1605. It will be carrying out after obtaining approval from Department of Medical Research, Myanmar. At the outset, informed consent will be obtained with detailed information about the purpose of research, the part they need to participate, possible benefits and their rights to withdraw.

Task-oriented repetitive movement can improve movement performance in patients with neurological or orthopedic lesions. The application of robotics can serve to assist, enhance, evaluate, and document neurological and orthopedic rehabilitation of movements. Arm therapy is used in neurological rehabilitation for patients with paralyzed upper extremities due to lesions of the central or peripheral nervous system, e.g. after stroke or spinal cord injury. The goal of the therapy is to recover motor function, improve movement coordination, learn new motion strategies ("trick movements"), and/or prevent secondary complications such as muscle atrophy, osteoporosis, and spasticity.

The purpose of this study is to assess the functional recovery of older ambulatory surgical patients and the impact of the current model of care on the caregivers of these patients. This study will provide unique insight into the challenges patients and their families face following surgery. The primary objective of this study is to: 1. Assess the impact of ambulatory surgery on functional capacity as assessed by the Système de Mesure de l'Autonomie Fonctionnelle (SMAF) one week and one month following surgery in a population of surgical patients 65 years of age and older. Secondary objectives are to determine if: 2. Changes in the patient's functional capacity result in increased burden of care as assessed by the Zarit Burden Interview (ZBI) in the patient's primary caregiver. 3. Changes in functional capacity are correlated with decrements in quality of life as assessed by the Short Form 12 (SF12). 4. Changes in functional capacity are correlated with inadequate postoperative analgesia as assessed by the Brief Pain Inventory (BPI).
