Phase 3, international, multicenter, open-label 12 month safety study.

Prospective, multi-center, randomized, controlled study designed to evaluate safety and repeatable effectiveness. Subjects will be randomized 2:1:1 to transcutaneous afferent patterned stimulation (TAPS), sham, or 'no intervention', respectively. Subjects randomized to the TAPS and sham arms will be blinded to their randomization assignments for the first two weeks of participation (controlled phase). After the first two weeks, all subjects will be crossed over to TAPS (open-label phase) for 2 weeks. During study participation, all subjects are to remain on a stable dosage of medications prescribed for the treatment of essential tremor, if applicable.

Type 2 diabetes mellitus is a complex, chronic disease that requires a comprehensive treatment plan aimed at meeting multitude therapeutic targets associated with micro- and macro-vascular risk reduction. There is evidence that patient support in various forms can have a significant positive impact on adherence to treatment and the meeting of targets in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. The purpose of this study is to evaluate if the use of a digital disease management tool (Smart phone- web portal-based tool), in addition to Standard of Care for T2DM, will improve glycemic control. Other variables important in T2DM (such as weight, blood pressure, and lipid levels), will also be evaluated along with patient-reported outcomes, such as satisfaction with treatment and adherence to their antihyperglycemic treatment. This study evaluates the PCSK9 inhibitor, Bococizumab (PF-04950615;RN316), compared to placebo, in reducing the occurrrence of major cardiovascular events, including cardiovascular death, myocardial infarction, stroke, and unstable angina requiring urgent revascularization in high risk subjects who are receiving background lipid lowering therapy and have cholesterol laboratory values of LDL-C \>/= 100 mg/dL (2.6 mmol/L) or non-HDL-C \>/=130 mg/dL (3.4 mmol/L).

This Phase 3, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study is to evaluate the effect of idelalisib in combination with rituximab on the onset, magnitude, and duration of tumor control in participants previously treated for chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). Eligible patients will be randomized with a 1:1 ratio into 1 of the 2 treatment arms to receive either idelalisib plus rituximab or placebo plus rituximab. Participants who are tolerating primary study therapy but experience definitive CLL progression are eligible to receive active idelalisib therapy in the extension study, GS-US-312-0117.

Research shows that the majority of all mental health (MH) treatment for children is delivered in schools. Unfortunately, however, school mental health (SMH) providers rarely use evidence-based approaches and are often poorly integrated into the school context. Given the high (\>20%) and increasing rates of MH disorders among children and youth, MH clinicians working in schools need effective and efficient ways to address student emotional and behavioral problems. The Brief Intervention Strategy for School Clinicians (BRISC) is a four-session, flexible, and research-informed "Tier 2" intervention tailored to high school students and designed to fit the school context. Findings from initial research funded by an IES Development and Innovation grant, including a small (n=66) comparison study, indicate positive, small to large sized effects (ES = .30- 1.33) in favor of BRISC for MH impairment, emotional symptoms, therapeutic alliance, coping skills, and client satisfaction. Moreover, even though the majority of students who were referred to BRISC were in the clinical range for functional impairment due to MH problems, over 50% were able to step down to lower levels of intervention after four sessions of BRISC, demonstrating promise for efficiency and reach. Given potential for public health impact, the purpose of the current study is to further examine the efficacy of BRISC by assessing its impact on mental health and academic outcomes - as well as feasibility, acceptability, and efficiency - in a larger, multi-site trial.

This is a Phase II treatment study that is done to evaluate how effective and safe the combination of pembrolizumab and cisplatin work in treating participants with triple-negative breast cancer that had spread to other parts of the body, has come back, or cannot be removed by surgery. Pembrolizumab (investigational drug) is a monoclonal antibody that works by helping your immune system to fight cancer. Cisplatin is a chemotherapy drug that works by interfering with tumor cell division. Studies also suggest that treatment with chemotherapy, like cisplatin, may improve the effectiveness of pembrolizumab. This study will test the effectiveness of pembrolizumab and cisplatin in participants with advanced triple-negative breast cancer.

This is a first-in-human, multicenter, open-label study consisting of 2 phases. Phase 1 is a dose escalation study of RXDX-105 (formerly known as CEP-32496) in patients with advanced solid tumors aimed at defining the recommended Phase 2 dose (RP2D) and schedule for administration. Phase 1b is a dose expansion in approximately 90 patients with advanced solid tumors with specific histologies and/or molecular alterations of interest. Patients in Phase 1b will be treated at the RP2D determined in Phase 1.

The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the overall response rate (ORR) and complete response (CR) rate to treatment with idelalisib in combination with rituximab in previously untreated adults with follicular lymphoma (FL) or small lymphocytic lymphoma (SLL). An increased rate of deaths and serious adverse events (SAEs) among participants with front-line chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) and early-line indolent non-Hodgkin lymphoma (iNHL) treated with idelalisib in combination with standard therapies was observed by the independent data monitoring committee (DMC) during regular review of 3 Gilead Phase 3 studies. Gilead reviewed the unblinded data and terminated those studies in agreement with the DMC recommendation and in consultation with the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA). All front-line studies of idelalisib, including this study, were also terminated.

GIC-1001 is a novel, orally-administered, colonic analgesic drug developed as an alternative to i.v. sedation during full colonoscopy. It will be evaluated for efficacy and safety in a multi-center, randomized, double-blind, placebo controlled, dose-ranging, proof of concept Phase 2a trial. Up to 240 patients will receive one of 3 doses of GIC-1001 or its matching placebo. A pharmacokinetic evaluation will be carried out on a subset of patients (N: 24).

CHILDNEPH is a pan-Canadian project to observe clinical care for children with nephrotic syndrome. Previous studies have indicated that there is wide practice variation in how health care providers treat this remitting and relapsing disease of childhood. The disease mechanism is not yet understood, and long-term use of steroids can affect children's health. This study involves assessment of routine clinical care and establishing a long-term patient registry for children with nephrotic syndrome.

Study B7451006 is a Phase 2b POC study which is planned to assess four PF 04965842 once daily (QD) doses (10, 30, 100, 200 mg) relative to placebo over 12 weeks to characterize the efficacy and safety of PF 04965842 in subjects with moderate to severe AD. The objectives of the study are to demonstrate the efficacy of PF 04965842 by showing improvement in disease severity in patients with moderate to severe AD as measured by the Investigator's Global Assessment (IGA) and Eczema Area and Severity Index (EASI) scores, and safety to support further clinical development of PF 04965842.

This is a Phase 2 study being conducted at multiple centers in the United States, Europe and Canada. Patients having pancreatic cancer that is locally advanced or that has spread to other parts of the body (i.e., metastatic) are eligible to participate. Patients must have not had any prior systemic treatment for advanced disease. The purpose of the study is to test whether the angiogenesis inhibitor Axitinib \[AG-013736\] in combination with gemcitabine is an effective treatment for advanced pancreatic cancer vs. gemcitabine alone by overall survival.
