The purpose of this study is to evaluate how safe and effective the combination of the study drugs romidepsin and lenalidomide is for treating patients with peripheral t-cell lymphoma (PTCL) who have not been previously treated for this cancer. Currently, there is no standard treatment for patients with PTCL; the most common treatment used is a combination of drugs called CHOP, but this can be a difficult treatment to tolerate because of side effects, and is not particularly effective for most patients with PTCL. Romidepsin (Istodax®) is a type of drug called an HDAC inhibitor. It interacts with DNA (genetic material in cells) in ways that can stop tumors from growing. It is given as an infusion through the veins. Lenalidomide (Revlimid®) is a type of drug known as an immunomodulatory drug, or IMID for short. This drug affects how tumor cells grow and survive, including affecting blood vessel growth in tumors. It is given as an oral tablet (by mouth).

Study Title: A Pilot Randomized Controlled Trial of the Promoting Resilience in Stress Management (PRISM) Intervention for Adolescents and Young Adults with Cancer Study Population and Sample Size: Two cohorts of Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) patients with diagnosis of new or recurrent cancer between 1 and 10 weeks prior to enrollment: those ages 13-17 (N=50); (2) those ages 18-25 (N=50). Study Design: Pilot randomized controlled trial (RCT). Primary Objective: To test the efficacy of the "Promoting Resilience in Stress Management" (PRISM) among Adolescents and Young Adults with cancer. Primary Outcome: Change in patient-reported resilience (based on score of standardized Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale) at 6 months. Secondary Outcomes: 1. Patient-reported resilience at 2, 4, and 12 months 2. Patient-reported self-efficacy, benefit-finding, psychological distress, quality of life, and health-behaviors at 6 and 12 months. 3. This study is being done to determine the highest tolerated dose of an investigational cell therapy called DVX201 in patients hospitalized with COVID-19. DVX201 is an allogeneic NK (natural killer) cell therapy. NK cells are a normal part of your immune system that have the ability to identify and kill cells in the body that are infected by viruses such as COVID-19. There is evidence that both NK cell exhaustion and low numbers of NK cell in the blood occur in COVID-19 patients, and this may contribute to worsening of the infection. Therefore, infusion of healthy functional NK cells (like DVX201) may help overcome COVID-19 infection and prevent progression of the disease. This study is being done to look at the safety and tolerability of DVX201 in patients with COVID-19 and to gather information on how COVID-19 responds to treatment with DVX201.

The Dose Expansion Phase has two cohorts: one cohort for the study of PT-112 in patients with thymoma and thymic carcinoma (Cohort A), and one cohort for the study of PT-112 in metastatic castrate-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC) (Cohort D).

We examined a Community Health Worker (CHW) program for Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) in Veteran Participants. The goal of this study was to assess participants' perceived acceptability, appropriateness, and feasibility of the intervention, explore participants' COPD health outcomes, and gather insights from participants and CHWs to inform potential improvements. Veteran participants enrolled in the 12-week intervention and received a series of 9 CHW home, phone, or video visits. These visits provided education and chronic disease self-management practices to improve COPD health. Researchers examined the participant and CHW perception of the intervention through qualitative interviews and surveys.

RATIONALE: Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as carboplatin, etoposide, and vincristine, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. Sometimes when chemotherapy is given, it does not stop the growth of tumor cells. The tumor is said to be resistant to chemotherapy. Giving cyclosporine together with chemotherapy may reduce drug resistance and allow the tumor cells to be killed. Cryotherapy kills tumor cells by freezing them. Laser therapy uses light to kill tumor cells. Giving combination chemotherapy together with cyclosporine followed by cryotherapy and/or laser therapy may be an effective treatment for retinoblastoma. PURPOSE: This phase II trial is studying how well giving combination chemotherapy together with cyclosporine followed by cryotherapy and/or laser therapy works in treating patients with newly diagnosed retinoblastoma in both eyes.

Background: Transition in care is defined as the "purposeful and planned movement of adolescents and young adults with a chronic medical condition from pediatric to adult-oriented healthcare systems/care providers." Currently, there is no Level 1 evidence of an intervention to improve the care of transitioning adolescents and young adults (AYAs) with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). The development of a transition program using a biopsychosocial approach will improve the standards for healthcare delivery to transitioning IBD patients. This is a protocol for a structured randomized controlled trial (RCT) to assess the efficacy and impact of a multimodal intervention focused on improving patient function, transition readiness and outcomes among AYA patients with IBD being cared for at pediatric centers in Canada. Methods: This multi-center RCT is a type 1 hybrid effectiveness-implementation trial to evaluate effectiveness of the intervention and how it can be implemented more widely after the trial. We will include patients aged 16.0 to 17.5 years. The intervention program consists of 4 core components: 1) individualized assessment, 2) transition navigator, 3) virtual patient skills-building with a focus on building resilience, self-management and self-efficacy, and 4) a virtual structured education program. The control group will undergo standard-of-care defined by each participating center. The primary outcome will be the IBD Disability Index, a validated measure to assess patient functioning. Secondary outcomes include transition readiness, anxiety and depression scales, and health service utilization rates. Additionally, we will identify the effectiveness of an evidence-based implementation approach and related barriers and facilitators for the intervention program. Discussion: The type 1 hybrid effectiveness-implementation design will allow us to develop a feasible, sustainable, and acceptable final intervention model. The intervention will consist of modules that can be accessed in an online, virtual platform. The implementation will not depend on individual hospital resources, allowing centralization of interventions and funding. The authors anticipate that the main study limitation will relate to study subjects not completely adhering to every component of the intervention, which will be evaluated and addressed using the implementation science approach.

Primary Research Questions: Efficacy, safety and feasibility of a 3-month course of levofloxacin in a pilot study will be assessed. 1. Under efficacy, this pilot will determine whether levofloxacin can decrease the incidence of BK viruria and peak urine BK viral load. 2. Under safety, this pilot will determine the incidence of adverse events with levofloxacin. 3. Under feasibility, this pilot will determine the number of kidney transplant patients randomized over an eight month enrolment period, adherence to the levofloxacin and frequency of patient drop-out and loss to follow-up
