NCT01238952
The primary objective is to determine the maximum tolerated dose/recommended phase II dose of the combination regimen of NK012 and carboplatin in patients with advanced solid tumors.
NCT01521559
This is a phase III, double-masked, randomized, active-controlled, parallel-group, 52-week study to assess the efficacy and safety of Intravitreal Aflibercept Injection (IAI;EYLEA®;BAY86-5321) compared to laser treatment in patients with macular edema secondary to BRVO.
NCT00123487
This is a phase III study of BMS-354825 in subjects with chronic myelogenous leukemia in accelerated phase, or in myeloid or lymphoid blast phase or with Philadelphia chromosome positive (Ph+) acute lymphoblastic leukemia who are resistant or intolerant to imatinib mesylate (Gleevec).
NCT00427934
The purpose of this study is to evaluate whether maraviroc, an investigational drug given with methotrexate (MTX) is safe and effective in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis in adult patients.
NCT01425359
This study will evaluate the effect of ranolazine compared to placebo on the average weekly angina frequency in subjects with chronic stable angina and coronary artery disease (CAD) who have a history of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM), and whether ranolazine can reduce the frequency of angina (chest pain) attacks, compared to a placebo. Subjects will be asked to record their daily angina episodes in a diary at the end of each study day. Ranolazine is approved for the treatment of chronic angina, and is not approved for the treatment of T2DM.
NCT00024570
IL13-PE38QQR is an oncology drug product consisting of IL13 (interleukin-13) and PE38QQR (a bacteria toxin). IL3-PE38QQR is a protein that exhibits cell killing activity against a variety of IL13 receptor-positive tumor cell lines indicating that it may show a therapeutic benefit. In reciprocal competition experiments, the interaction between IL13-PE38QQR and the IL13 receptors was shown to be highly specific for human glioma cells. IL13-PE38QQR will be infused in two courses of 96 hours each, eight weeks apart, directly into the malignant brain tumors of patients to determine the dose of drug these patients can tolerate. After that, the selected dose will be studied to give an estimate of the response rate, response duration, time to response, and survival after infusing that dose of IL13-PE38QQR into the recurrent malignant glioma.
NCT00582010
This blinded, placebo-controlled study will administer inhaled nitric oxide to patients undergoing liver transplantation. The purpose of the study is to test if inhaled nitric oxide prevents liver injury associated with the restoration of blood flow. The premise of the current study is provided by previous studies which document a protective effect of inhaled nitric oxide in this clinical setting.
NCT01166542
The purpose of this Phase 3 study is to evaluate overall survival and progression free survival following intravenous administration of REOLYSIN (Reovirus Serotype 3 Dearing) in combination with paclitaxel and carboplatin versus chemotherapy treatment alone, in patients with metastatic or recurrent Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the Head and Neck.
NCT01086215
The Registry involves the collection of information for research and educational purposes only on the use of AngioJet in the peripheral vascular system.
NCT02155192
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the association between genetic factors and response to treatment (guselkumab, ustekinumab, adalimumab, or etanercept) and psoriasis (scaly skin rash).
NCT01106651
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of 2 different doses of canagliflozin compared with placebo in older patients (55 to 80 years of age) with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) with inadequate control on their current diabetes treatment regimen.
NCT00378235

NCT01703923
The purpose of this study is to determine the antitussive effect size and dose response of FP01 lozenges in subjects with chronic cough and to demonstrate the safety and tolerability of FP01 lozenges in subjects with chronic cough.
NCT01104584
The purpose of this study is to look at the efficacy (how does it work) and safety of gadobutrol when used for obtaining MR images of both breasts.Women with a recent diagnosis of breast cancer by mammogram (X-ray examination of the breasts) may benefit from MRI of the breasts as MRI may detect additional breast cancers
NCT01427946
Study IPI-504-15 is a Phase 1b/2 clinical trial to evaluate the safety and efficacy of retaspimycin HCl (IPI-504) plus everolimus in patients with KRAS mutant Non-small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC).
NCT02284152
In the present study, we tested a novel approach to understanding infant bottle-feeding interactions: experimentally manipulating bottle-feeding conditions to better understand maternal and infant influences on overfeeding, as well as individual differences in risk for overfeeding. Specifically, we observed mother-infant dyads during a typical, "mother-led" feeding, during which mothers were given no instruction regarding how or how much to feed their infants (hereafter referred to as a "typical feeding" \[TF\]), as well as during an "infant-led" (IL) feeding, wherein we minimized the mothers' influence on the feeding and ensured the feed was in response to the infants' hunger and fullness cues. Using this within-subject, objective, and experimental approach, the present study aimed to: 1) directly measure the extent to which overfeeding occurs during bottle-feeding and 2) describe the characteristics of infants and mothers that overfeed during bottle-feeding.
NCT00761280
In this multinational Phase III study the efficacy and safety of 10 µM AP 12009 is compared to standard chemotherapy (temozolomide or BCNU or CCNU) in adult patients with confirmed recurrent or refractory anaplastic astrocytoma (WHO grade III) or secondary glioblastoma (WHO grade IV).
NCT01041404
This parallel, randomized, open-label, multi-centre study will evaluate the effect on overall survival of trastuzumab (Herceptin) in combination with a chemotherapy compared to the chemotherapy alone in patients with HER2-positive advanced gastric cancer. Trastuzumab (Herceptin) will be administered as intravenous infusion of 6 mg/kg (loading dose 8 mg/kg) every 3 weeks. The chemotherapy consists of a combination of 6 cycles of fluorouracil (800 mg/m2/day intravenous infusion every 3 weeks) and cisplatin (80 mg/m2 intravenous infusion every 3 weeks), or capecitabine (Xeloda, 1000 mg/m2 po twice daily for 14 days every 3 weeks) and cisplatin (80 mg/m2 intravenous infusion every 3 weeks). Treatment with trastuzumab (Herceptin) will continue until disease progression. The target sample size is 300-600 patients.
