NCT00781937
This trial is conducted in North America. The aim of this clinical trial is to evaluate the potential of liraglutide to maintain long term weight loss in obese non-diabetic subjects, as well as in overweight subjects who have medical problems such as hypertension (high blood pressure) or dyslipidaemia (an abnormal amount of lipids in the blood). Trial has following trial periods: A 12-week run-in period (from week -12 to week 0) followed by a 56-week main trial period (weeks 0-56) and a 12-week follow-up period (weeks 56-68).

The purpose of this study is to compare the effects of ticagrelor and clopidogrel in patients with Peripheral Artery Disease.
NCT01665599
This is a Phase 3 clinical trial in adult hypogonadal males with baseline serum testosterone concentrations \<300 ng/dL. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and efficacy of testosterone gel (2%) delivered using an applicator.
NCT02019472
The primary objective is to investigate the efficacy of sirukumab monotherapy compared with adalimumab monotherapy in biologic naïve subjects with active rheumatoid arthritis who are intolerant to methotrexate, who are considered inappropriate for treatment with methotrexate or who are inadequate responders to methotrexate.
NCT00857220
A multicenter study to evaluate the safety of eszopiclone in children (6 11 years of age, inclusive) and adolescents (12 17 years of age, inclusive) with attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) associated insomnia.
NCT00868608
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of inotuzumab ozogamicin (CMC-544) in subjects with indolent Non-Hodgkins lymphoma (NHL) that is refractory or has relapsed after multiple therapies including rituximab or radioimmunotherapy. The investigational drug will be given to subjects with indolent NHL by intravenous infusion at a dose of 1.8 mg/m2, every 4 weeks.
NCT00908388
The primary objective of this study is to determine the safety and efficacy of the GORE Conformable TAG Thoracic Endoprosthesis (CTAG) for treatment of subjects with acute complicated type B aortic dissection.
NCT01586858
Rituximab is the first drug approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the treatment of patients with granulomatosis with polyangiitis (Wegener's granulomatosis) or microscopic polyangiitis. Because it is a relatively new medication, the long-term safety and efficacy of this drug is not yet clear. This study proposes to follow patients who were enrolled in the RAVE study to determine if treatment with rituximab influences long-term outcomes.
NCT00495469
This is a dose-ranging study to evaluate the efficacy, safety and tolerability of a range of doses of GSK189075 (an SGLT2 inhibitor) compared to placebo, administered over 12 weeks in treatment-naive subjects with type 2 diabetes mellitus
NCT02576561
The purpose of this research study is to test the safety and effectiveness of the investigational study vaccine, called TVGV-1. The study will test the vaccine in women with high grade HPV cervical infection.
NCT02526290
In this study, the safety and effectiveness of the Oculeve Intranasal Lacrimal Neurostimulator after 180 days of use in participants with aqueous tear deficiency will be evaluated.
NCT00089570
The purpose of this study is to determine whether terlipressin is safe and effective in the treatment of patients with hepatorenal syndrome (HRS) type 1 when compared to placebo.
NCT00116428
This trial compares the safety and effectiveness of catheter ablation for PAF with antiarrhythmic drug therapy. The investigational catheter being studied is the NAVISTAR® THERMOCOOL® irrigated-tip catheter. At the time of this study, the NAVISTAR® THERMOCOOL® catheter was FDA-approved for commercial distribution in the U.S. for treating patients with Type I atrial flutter and drug refractory monomorphic ventricular tachycardia post myocardial infarction. The catheter was approved for use in Europe for endocardial ablation for treating cardiac arrhythmias.
NCT02464163
The purpose of this study is to investigate the safety and immunogenicity of a recombinant hemagglutinin (rHA) influenza vaccine derived from A/Anhui/1/2013 (H7N9) administered at 3 dose levels in adjuvanted (SE) rHA formulations and 1 dose levels in an unadjuvanted rHA formulation.
NCT03079687
This is an open-label, single-arm, international, multicenter Multiple Patient Expanded Access Program (MPEAP). The program is designed to provide treatment access to olaparib tablets for patients with platinum-sensitive relapsed high-grade epithelial ovarian, fallopian tube or primary peritoneal cancer without other treatment options or eligible for an olaparib clinical trials.
NCT02136004
The objective of this trial is to demonstrate the safety and effectiveness of the Rex Medical Closer Vascular Sealing System in sealing femoral arterial access sites.
NCT02039297
In this multicenter project, we will introduce AWARE (electronic interface) Using a cloud-based technology . The goal of this project is to improve compliance with best practice through the use of a new acute care interface with built-in tools for error prevention, practice surveillance and reporting (ProCCESs AWARE - Patient Centered Cloud-based Electronic System: Ambient Warning and Response Evaluation). The goal of this project is to develop and test a novel acute care interface with built-in tools for error prevention, practice surveillance, decision support and reporting (ProCCESs AWARE - Patient Centered Cloud-based Electronic System: Ambient Warning and Response Evaluation). In preliminary studies, these novel informatics supports built on an advanced understanding of cognitive and organizational ergonomics, have significantly decreased the cognitive load of bedside providers and reduced medical errors. Using a cloud-based technology, AWARE will be uniformly available on either mobile or fixed computing devices and applied in a standardized manner in medical and surgical ICUs of five geographically diverse acute care hospitals predominantly serving Medicare and Medicaid patients. The impact of ProCCESs AWARE on processes of care and outcomes in study ICUs; expected to enroll more than 10,000 critically ill patients during the study period.
NCT01898715
This first-in-human study is designed to establish the safety and tolerability of ATR-101 in patients with advanced adrenocortical carcinoma whose tumor has progressed on standard therapy. Information will also be collected to determine how long ATR-101 stays in the blood, and if any effect on tumor progression is seen. Biomarkers (blood and urine tests) will determine if any effects on production of steroid hormones (cortisol, aldosterone, estrogen and testosterone) are seen.
NCT02202161
This study is being conducted to evaluate the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacodynamics of GSK2330672 compared to sitagliptin when administered with metformin for 14 days to subjects with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). Approximately 72 male and female subjects aged 30-64 years with T2DM and currently taking metformin will be recruited for this study. Eligible subjects will begin a run-in period of 13-15 days to stabilize on metformin 850 milligram (mg) twice a day (BID). Subjects will then be randomized to GSK2330672 10 mg, 20 mg, 30 mg, 90 mg, matching placebo or open-label sitagliptin 50 mg for 14 days BID. Subjects will return for a follow-up visit 7-10 days after discharge.
NCT01776255
Healthy Children, Strong Families-2 (HCSF-2) is a family focused early childhood intervention which addresses the growing problem of childhood obesity in American Indian communities. The study works with six rural and urban American Indian communities across the US to test the ability of the intervention to increase adoption of healthy lifestyles and to reduce the prevalence of obesity among preschool aged American Indian children and their primary caregivers - creating healthier children, healthier families and healthier communities. Our primary hypothesis is that children and their primary caregivers who receive the HCSF-2 intervention will have better obesity related outcomes than those who do not receive HCSF-2.
