NCT03232944
The purpose of this Post-Approval Study (PAS) is to evaluate the effectiveness of MPP to improve CRT response in the non-responder patient population when used in "real-world" clinical practice, following commercial release. This evaluation is based on the Clinical Composite Score which summarizes the proportions and frequencies of CRT non-responder patients who are "improved", "unchanged" or "worsened" after receiving MPP therapy. Patients will be followed for the duration of the PAS. This study is required by FDA as a condition of approval of the MPP feature and is integrated within the Product Surveillance Registry (PSR).

The secondary objective is to examine the safety and tolerability of nusinersen administered intrathecally to participants with later-onset SMA.
NCT01530256
The purpose of this study is to determine the safe and tolerable, biologically active, and potentially effective doses(s) of ALD518 in subjects with acute GVHD, who have failed to respond to glucocorticosteroids, for further investigation in Part B.
NCT00866697
This was a study to determine whether therapy with pazopanib was effective and safe in women with epithelial ovarian, fallopian tube, or primary peritoneal cancer whose cancer had not progressed on first line chemotherapy.
NCT02114606
The current endoscopic methods for diagnosing and monitoring treatment response in Eosinophilic Esophagitis (EoE) are costly, inconvenient, and risky. Novel diagnostic methods are needed, and the minimally-invasive Cytosponge holds great promise. It has been shown to be safe and accurate in Barrett's esophagus, it has the advantage (over the string test) of obtaining a true tissue sample, and our preliminary data supports its further study in EoE. The proposed prospective cohort study, conducted by experts in esophageal diseases and EoE, will assess the accuracy of Cytosponge compared to endoscopy and biopsy in EoE, and determine the safety and acceptability of this technique. Use of the Cytosponge would fundamentally change the paradigm for clinical management of EoE by allowing collection of non-endoscopic esophageal biopsies, thus minimizing the need for invasive testing. It would also facilitate future genetic, mechanistic, and pathogenesis research in EoE.
NCT03389555
In this study, we aim to determine whether the combination of Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C), Thiamine (Vitamin B1), and Corticosteroids improves the trajectory of organ failure and reduces mortality in patients with sepsis and septic shock as compared to placebo.
NCT03784079
Infection with HIV-1 continues to be a serious health threat throughout the world. Chronic exposure to combination anti-retroviral therapy identified anti-retroviral associated long-term toxicities. Hence, there is a need to prevent these co-morbidities. GSK3640254 is a next-generation HIV-1 Maturation Inhibitor (MI) which may be effective for HIV-1 infection. This study will evaluate the antiviral effect, safety, tolerability and pharmacokinetics/ pharmacodynamics of GSK3640254 in HIV-1 infected treatment-naive adults. This study will consists of two parts; Part 1 and Part 2. Part 1 will evaluate two active doses of GSK3640254, 200 milligrams (mg) (Cohort 1) and 10 mg (Cohort 2) along with placebo to match GSK3640254 Mesylate salt. Part 2 will evaluate three active doses of GSK3640254. Dose level 1 of GSK3640254 that can provide at least 30 percent of the maximum effect (Cohort 1), dose level 2 of GSK3640254 that can provide at least 75 percent of the maximum effect (Cohort 2) and dose level 3 of GSK3640254 that can provide at least 90 percent of the maximum effect (Cohort 3). These doses are anticipated to be 5 mg, 40 mg and 100 mg respectively, but could be modified based on data obtained in Part 1. Subjects will also receive placebo to match GSK3640254 Mesylate salt in Part 2 of the study. All doses will be administered after a moderate fat meal. This study will consist of Screening period (up to 14 days), Treatment period (Day 1- Day 10), post-dose Follow-up (Day 11- Day 17) and final Follow-up (Day 18-24). A total of approximately 34 subjects will be enrolled, of which, 14 subjects will be randomized in Part 1 and 20 in Part 2 of the study. Six subjects will be enrolled in each of the active dose cohorts and 2 subjects will be enrolled in each of the placebo cohorts.
NCT00470301
Tipifarnib may stop the growth of breast cancer by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth and by blocking blood flow to the tumor. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as paclitaxel, doxorubicin, and cyclophosphamide, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. Giving tipifarnib together with combination chemotherapy may kill more tumor cells. This phase I/II trial is studying the side effects and best dose of tipifarnib when given together with combination chemotherapy and to see how well they work in treating patients with stage II or stage III breast cancer.
