NCT01436175
This study is an optional continuation of previous short-term adult major depressive disorder (MDD) augmentation studies. Patients may only take part in this long-term, open-label research study if they completed a previous double-blind MDD augmentation study using SPD489.
NCT02998541
The purpose of this study is to determine if an investigational treatment is effective compared with placebo and PVP-Iodine in the treatment of adults and children with adenoviral conjunctivitis.
NCT00878709
The purpose of this study is to investigate whether neratinib can further reduce the risk of recurrence from previously diagnosed HER-2 positive breast cancer after adjuvant treatment with trastuzumab.
NCT00930644
This study is a 2-year open label extension study to collect long term efficacy and safety data from patients who have completed the 24-weeks of study drug dosing in CL0600-020.
NCT01620255
To determine the dose or doses of PF-00547659 that will be the most effective to improve or halt the disease symptoms in patients with moderate to severe ulcerative colitis.
NCT00046475
We are seeking male and female patients to voluntarily take part in a clinical research study. Patients must be aged 18 or older and diagnosed with symptomatic orthostatic hypotension (low blood pressure while in the upright position) due to Parkinson's disease, multiple system atrophy, pure autonomic failure or autonomic neuropathies (i.e. neurogenic orthostatic hypotension). Symptoms of low blood pressure include dizziness, lightheadedness, changes in vision and generalized weakness upon standing. The main effect of the drug being studied is to increase blood pressure in the upright position so symptoms will decrease. The purpose of this clinical study is to further assess the clinical benefit of midodrine hydrochloride (ProAmatine®), an approved treatment for orthostatic hypotension. During the course of the study, participants will receive either ProAmatine® or a placebo. Assessments will be made using questionnaires that measure symptom and activity levels. Blood pressure in the lying down and standing positions will be measured at each visit.
NCT00446849
To evaluate the percentage of subjects with clinical recurrence of UC at 6 months using MMX mesalamine once daily.
NCT01636206
The purpose of the study is to evaluate the safety of lifitegrast ophthalmic solution compared to placebo in the treatment of dry eye as assessed by ocular and non-ocular adverse events when administered BID for approximately 1 year.
NCT00764868
The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the long-term safety of LDX administered as a daily morning dose (30, 50, and 70 mg/day) in the treatment of adolescents (13-17 years of age inclusive at the time of consent).
NCT01106430
This study will evaluate how long it takes for ADHD symptoms to improve in subjects who are judged by the Investigator to have had an inadequate response to methylphenidate therapy. The study will also test the safety of Lisdexamfetamine Dimesylate and how well it works.
NCT00734578
The purpose of this study is to assess the efficacy and safety of SPD503 in subjects with ADHD when co-administered with psychostimulants in children and adolescents aged 6-17 years with a diagnosis of ADHD with a sub-optimal, partial response to stimulants.
NCT03122860
This phase 2 study is a placebo-controlled, double-blind, parallel group study of four concentrations of SM04690 (0.03, 0.07, 0.15, and 0.23 mg per 2 mL injection) injected intraarticularly (IA) into the target knee joint of subjects with moderately to severely symptomatic osteoarthritis (OA). Based on previous studies of SM04690, key phenotypes of laterality (unilateral vs bilateral) as well as chronic pain (as measured by the Widespread Pain Index) were identified as confounding variables impacting the overall assessment of both radiologic and clinical efficacy outcomes. The design of SM04690-OA-04 is based upon previous study designs while assessing strategies to combat the confounding impact of laterality and chronic pain. To evaluate the effect of IA vehicle injection on patient-reported outcomes (PRO) such as pain, stiffness, and function in OA, this study also includes one cohort that receives a 2 mL IA injection of vehicle (placebo), and one cohort that receives a sham injection (i.e., a needle stick with 0 mL vehicle injected).
NCT00905424
To evaluate the efficacy of SPD489 when used as augmentation to an antidepressant in the treatment of major depressive disorder (MDD) as measured by mean change in total Montgomery-Ǻsberg Depression Rating Scale (MADRS) scores.
NCT01343823
A double-blind, randomized, controlled trial comparing the safety and effectiveness of conventional therapy with ecallantide to conventional therapy with placebo.
NCT00258635
The purpose of this study is to assess the immunological differences between three RagweedMATAMPL treatment arms compared to placebo with respect to immunoglobulin levels. In addition, the study will assess the reduced allergenicity of modified Ragweed Pollen contained in RagweedMATAMPL compared to unmodified native allergen using skin prick testing.
NCT01268098
Use of PTH (1-84) a recombinant hormone in 25 µg or 50 µg doses for the treatment of adults with hypoparathyroidism. The use of PTH (1-84) should result in a decrease of calcium and vitamin D supplements.
NCT01789281
Study to allow access to everolimus for patients who are on everolimus treatment in a Novartis-sponsored study and are benefiting from the treatment as judged by the investigator
NCT03214588
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of TAK-831 versus placebo on upper extremity (arm and hands) motor function and manual dexterity. This study will also evaluate the efficacy of TAK-831 versus placebo on activities of daily living (ADL) and other secondary assessments.
NCT02055118
Study HGT-HIT-094 is a multicenter study designed to determine the effect on clinical parameters of neurodevelopmental status of monthly IT administration of idursulfase-IT 10 mg for 12 months in pediatric patients with Hunter syndrome and cognitive impairment who have previously received and tolerated a minimum of 4 months of therapy with Elaprase.
