NCT03571256
Standard placebo-controlled, double-blind study design (TEV-50717 \[low dose and high dose\] vs. placebo in a 1:1:1 ratio) was chosen to determine whether study drug treatment results in a statistically significant effect on the tics in participants with TS.
NCT00402883
The purpose of this study is to see if this combination of chemotherapy plus radiation therapy and immunotherapy (with bevacizumab) expands treatment options for patients with non-small cell lung cancer.
NCT01178125
This is an open-label, single treatment study. All subjects will receive 12 months of oral contraceptive therapy with DR-102. Study participants will receive physical and gynecological exams, including Pap smear. During the study, all participants will be required to complete a daily diary.
NCT02175771
The primary objective of the study is to evaluate the long-term safety of fluticasone propionate (Fp) inhalation powder in 2 strengths and fluticasone propionate/salmeterol inhalation (FS) powder in 2 strengths when administered with the Teva multidose dry powder inhaler (MDPI) device over 26 weeks in patients with persistent asthma.
NCT02040766
This randomized, double-blind, double-dummy, placebo-controlled, parallel-group, 12-week study will evaluate the efficacy and safety of beclomethasone dipropionate (80 or 160 mcg/day) administered via breath-actuated inhaler (BAI) and metered-dose inhaler (MDI) in pediatric patients 4 through 11 years of age with persistent asthma, compared with placebo. Patients took 1 inhalation (with assistance from parents/guardians/caregivers, as needed) from each of 2 devices (BAI device followed by MDI device in that order) twice daily as per the double-dummy study design: 1 BAI treatment or placebo device and 1 MDI treatment or placebo device for a total of 2 inhalations each time.
NCT02969408
This is a Phase 3B, 12-week, multicenter, open-label study to evaluate the relationship between albuterol sulfate (ABS) eMDPI and clinical asthma exacerbation (CAE) in adult participants at least 18 years of age with exacerbation-prone asthma. The ABS eMDPI dose will be 90 micrograms (mcg), 1 to 2 inhalations every 4 hours as needed, but participant dosing will not be limited to this dosing regimen. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the relationship between albuterol dosing and CAE.
NCT02141854
The primary objective of this study was to evaluate the efficacy of fluticasone propionate (Fp) multidose dry powder inhaler (MDPI) and fluticasone propionate/salmeterol xinafoate (FS) MDPI when administered over 12 weeks in patients 12 years of age and older with persistent asthma.
NCT00089466
New treatment options are critical for treatment-experienced HIV infected patients with drug resistance. HIV entry inhibitors have been shown effective in patients with resistance to other anti-HIV drugs. This study will test the safety and anti-HIV activity of eight different doses of the HIV entry inhibitor AMD11070 (also known as AMD070) in HIV infected patients.
NCT02365636
This is a study to evaluate the safety and efficacy of 4% and 8% w/w TV 45070 ointment compared with placebo ointment applied topically and twice daily to the area of PHN pain for 4 weeks in patients with PHN
NCT01828073
The purpose of this study was to determine the washout pharmacokinetics (PK) and safety of in utero/intrapartum exposure to maternal raltegravir (RAL) in infants born to pregnant women with HIV infection who received RAL 400 mg twice daily. The study also provided data for the development of an infant RAL starting dosing regimen for IMPAACT P1110 (NCT01780831).
NCT01285323
The primary objective of this study is to determine whether reslizumab is more effective than placebo in reducing the number of clinical asthma exacerbations (CAEs) in patients with eosinophilic asthma.
NCT02945046
This is a 13-week, multicenter, randomized, double-blind, double-dummy, placebo-controlled, parallel-group study to compare the efficacy and safety of 2 dose regimens of TEV-48125 (Fremanezumab) versus placebo in adult participants for the prevention of ECH.
NCT02964338
The purpose of the current study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of Fremanezumab (TEV-48125), in the prevention of CCH in adult participants.
NCT03107052
This is a 68-week study to evaluate the long-term safety and efficacy of fremanezumab in participants with cluster headache (CH). Participants who complete the pivotal studies TV48125-CNS-30056 (NCT02945046) and TV48125-CNS-30057 (NCT02964338) and enroll into the current study will visit the investigational center for investigational medicinal product (IMP) administration, safety and efficacy assessments, and blood and urine collections for pharmacokinetics, immunogenicity (anti-drug antibodies \[ADAs\]), and biomarker analyses. Participants will return to the investigational center for a follow-up visit to evaluate ADAs, fremanezumab concentrations, biomarkers, and safety (adverse events and concomitant medications) approximately 7.5 months after the last dose of IMP.
NCT02315144
The primary objective of the study is to characterize the safety profile and duration of bronchodilation of a single dose of inhaled TV48108.
NCT02315131
The primary objective of the study is to characterize the safety profile and duration of bronchodilation of a single dose of inhaled TV46017
NCT03661632
The purpose of this study is to determine if BMS-986310 administered in combination with nivolumab, will demonstrate adequate safety and tolerability, as well as a favorable risk/benefit profile, to support further clinical testing.
NCT02928107
The aim of this project is to develop evidence that can inform hearing health care best practices for adults between the ages of 65-75, and determine what level of involvement by the primary care practitioner (PCP) is required to inform and encourage adults age 65-75 to follow through with routine hearing screening. This study also aims to evaluate the accuracy of assessment of medical conditions for which the FDA requires physician evaluation and management prior to hearing aid fitting, and determine which medical conditions should require medical evaluation prior to hearing aid fitting. The results of this study should provide information to implement changes in health care policy to facilitate accessible and affordable hearing health care.
NCT03177265
Tobacco-related diseases account for a significant portion of all VA healthcare costs and are a detriment to the health and quality of life of our Veterans. Despite progress in instituting tobacco screenings and treatment referral, most Veterans still do not receive the most effective strategy to help them quit smoking - pharmacotherapy combined with behavioral coaching. This study builds on findings from population health and mobile interventions to help more Veterans receive evidence-based tobacco treatment. The investigators propose to test the effect of two types of text messaging in combination with telephone cessation counseling: 1) pre-counseling text messages to increase enrollment in counseling, and 2) ongoing texts for those who start counseling that provide appointment reminders and support between sessions to increase adherence to counseling. This study supports multiple goals of the VA's Blueprint for Excellence. Results will directly inform decision-making and population-based care models for tobacco treatment.
NCT04414631
The aim of this study is to analyze if administration of conestat alfa for 72 hours in addition to standard of care (SOC) in patients hospitalized with non-critical SARS-CoV-2 pneumonia (WHO Ordinal Scale Score 3 or 4) reduces the risk of disease progression to Acute Lung Injury (ALI) and Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS).
