NCT03654274
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the long-term efficacy and safety of relugolix 40 milligram (mg) once daily co-administered with low-dose estradiol (E2) and norethindrone acetate (NETA) for up to 104 weeks on endometriosis-associated pain in participants who previously completed a 24-week treatment period in one of the parent studies (MVT-601-3101 or MVT-601-3102).
NCT04714905
Pregnancy is a commonly occurring medical event. Women who are pregnant may experience pregnancy-related symptoms and complications. However, there is a relative lack of multi-dimensional data on large populations of pregnant patients. The Study Investigators aim to derive novel insights and deeper understanding of maternal physiology and pathology through the analysis of an unprecedented breadth and depth of data collected from connected devices (i.e., wearables, smart home scale, mobile apps, etc.), additional virtual study assessments and support calls, and information derived from standard of care clinical visits. They will share these insights to empower patients to better care for themselves. The Investigators hope to know how leveraging the data collected from connected devices in addition to information obtained from routine clinical care helps researchers and clinicians better understand pregnancy related symptoms, conditions, and complications.
NCT00688246
RATIONALE: Learning about the effect of exemestane on bone mineral density in postmenopausal women at increased risk of breast cancer may help plan treatment, decrease the risk of broken bones, and help patients live more comfortably. PURPOSE: This research study is measuring bone mineral density in postmenopausal women at increased risk of developing breast cancer who are receiving exemestane on clinical trial CAN-NCIC-MAP3.
NCT00258388
RATIONALE: Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as docetaxel and prednisone, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. OGX-011 may help docetaxel and prednisone kill more tumor cells by making tumor cells less resistant to the drugs. PURPOSE: This randomized phase II trial is studying how well giving docetaxel and prednisone with or without OGX-011 works in treating patients with recurrent or metastatic prostate cancer that did not respond to previous hormone therapy.
NCT04646031
This expanded access use program will provide a botanical drug of T89 for treatment use in an intermediate-size population infected with SARS-CoV-2 who have severe COVID-19, or who are judged by a healthcare provider to be at high risk of progression to severe or life-threatening condition.
NCT01583218
The purpose of this study is to evaluate whether extended prophylaxis with oral betrixaban can prevent blood clots in the leg and lung that sometime occur in patients hospitalized for an acute medical illness and to compare these results with standard of care enoxaparin. The safety of betrixaban will also be studied.
NCT01656538
Researchers doing this study want to evaluate the side effects of Reolysin when given together with paclitaxel. As these drugs have not been given together before, 6-9 patients will be treated with paclitaxel plus reolysin to ensure that side effects are tolerable.
NCT00346320
RATIONALE: Radiation therapy that delivers a high dose of radiation directly to the tumor may kill more tumor cells and cause less damage to normal tissue. PURPOSE: This phase II trial is studying how well radiation therapy works in treating patients with stage I or stage II non-small cell lung cancer that cannot be removed by surgery.
NCT01619813
The purpose of this study is to find out if giving Reolysin in combination with docetaxel and prednisone can offer better results than standard therapy with docetaxel and prednisone.
NCT00255788
RATIONALE: Everolimus may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking blood flow to the tumor. PURPOSE: This randomized phase II trial is studying two different schedules of everolimus to see how well they work in treating patients with recurrent or metastatic breast cancer.
NCT00770185
RATIONALE: Ridaforolimus may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth and by blocking blood flow to the tumor. PURPOSE: This phase II trial is studying the side effects of ridaforolimus and to see how well it works in treating patients with recurrent metastatic and/or locally advanced endometrial cancer.
NCT00514085
RATIONALE: Interleukin-21 may stimulate white blood cells, including natural killer cells, to kill melanoma cells. PURPOSE: This phase II trial is studying the side effects and how well interleukin-21 works in treating patients with metastatic or recurrent malignant melanoma.
NCT01068587
RATIONALE: MET/VEGFR2 inhibitor Foretinib and erlotinib hydrochloride may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth and by blocking blood flow to the tumor. PURPOSE: This randomized phase I/II trial is studying the side effects of erlotinib hydrochloride when given together with or without MET/VEGFR2 inhibitor Foretinib and to see how well it works in treating patients with locally advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer that has not responded to previous chemotherapy.
NCT02719977
CX5461 is a new type of drug for many types of cancer, particularly cancers that cannot easily repair damage to their cells. This may help to slow down the growth of cancer or may cause cancer cells to die. CX5461 has been shown to shrink tumours in animals and has been studied in a few people and seems promising but it is not clear if it can offer better results than standard treatment.
NCT00352079
RATIONALE: Biological therapies, such as BCG, may stimulate the immune system in different ways and stop tumor cells from growing. Gefitinib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Giving BCG together with gefitinib may kill more tumor cells. It is not yet known whether BCG is more effective with or without gefitinib in treating bladder cancer. PURPOSE: This randomized phase III trial is studying BCG and gefitinib to see how well they work compared to BCG alone in treating patients with high-risk bladder cancer.
NCT01846390
This research is being done because it is not yet known what dose of romidepsin in combination with gemcitabine, dexamethasone, and cisplatin (GDP) can be given safely to patients with peripheral T-cell lymphoma, nor what type and severity of side effects will result from the combination of these treatments. This research is also being done because it is not clear if the addition of the new drug romidepsin to treatment with GDP can offer better results and longer survival.
NCT00053794
RATIONALE: Drugs used in chemotherapy use different ways to stop tumor cells from dividing so they stop growing or die. PURPOSE: Phase II trial to study the effectiveness of perifosine in treating patients who have metastatic or locally advanced soft tissue sarcoma.
NCT00030875
RATIONALE: Bortezomib may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking the enzymes necessary for cancer cell growth. PURPOSE: Phase II trial to study the effectiveness of bortezomib in treating patients who have previously untreated or relapsed mantle cell lymphoma.
NCT00093457
RATIONALE: Sorafenib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking the enzymes necessary for their growth. PURPOSE: This phase II trial is studying the effectiveness of sorafenib in treating patients who have metastatic or recurrent prostate cancer that has not responded to previous hormone therapy.
NCT05919342
This is an international prospective, multicentre, unblinded, randomised-controlled trial. The primary aim is to assess a targeted screening strategy to detect undiagnosed heart failure in high-risk patients.
