NCT04021290
The aim of this study is to determine if virologically suppressed Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) Type 1 infected adults on a current antiretroviral regimen (CAR) (including 2 nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors \[NRTIs\] plus a third agent) remain suppressed upon switching to dolutegravir/lamivudine (DTG/3TC) fixed dose combination (FDC). The main objective of the study is to demonstrate the non-inferior antiviral activity of switching to DTG/3TC FDC once daily compared to continuation of CAR over 48 weeks in virologically suppressed adults living with HIV-1. The study will also evaluate information regarding the safety and health related quality of life. The study will include Screening Phase (up to 28 days), a Randomization Phase (up to Week 52) and a Continuation Phase (post Week 52). The Continuation Phase is not applicable for participants in Sweden and Denmark. Approximately 490 participants will be randomized in 1:1 ratio to receive DTG/3TC FDC once daily for up to 52 weeks or continue their CAR for 52 weeks. Participants in the DTG/3TC FDC arm who successfully complete up to 52 weeks of treatment will have the opportunity to continue receiving DTG/3TC FDC once daily in Continuation Phase.
NCT04626297
The reason for this study is to assess the impact of lebrikizumab on vaccine immune response in adult participants with moderate to severe atopic dermatitis (AD).
NCT01711658
PURPOSE: This trial is studying if and how well lapatinib adds to the effectiveness of radiation therapy plus cisplatin in patients who have head and neck cancer that is not related to the human papillomavirus (HPV).
NCT02780804
This phase I trial studies the side effects and best dose of entinostat in treating pediatric patients with solid tumors that have come back or have not responded to treatment. Entinostat may block some of the enzymes needed for cell division and it may help to kill tumor cells.
NCT00566345
The primary purpose of this study is to demonstrate the efficacy of an investigational Vero-cell derived influenza vaccine to prevent infection in an adult population with an influenza virus that is antigenically similar to one of the three strains in the vaccine. All subjects will be randomized to receive a single 0.5 ml intramuscular injection from one of three lots of seasonal Vero-cell derived influenza vaccine or saline placebo. Subjects will be monitored for 180 days following vaccination for occurrence of adverse events. For determining antibody response, subjects will have one blood draw before and one blood draw 21 days after vaccination.
NCT02869633
This phase II trial studies how well ibrutinib works in treating patients after a donor stem cell transplant for lymphoma that is not responding to treatment or has come back. Ibrutinib may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth.
NCT06089018
The goal of this observational study is to assess movement in individuals with Myotonic Dystrophy Type 1 (DM1) and Type 2 (DM2) using digital biomarker tools. The long-term aim of this study is to incorporate these outcomes into clinical trials of DM1 and DM2 therapies. Participants will complete a series of assessments that allow for researchers to measure hand myotonia and walking quality, including a Video Hand Opening Test (VHOT), grip strength, 10 meter walk/run test, 6 minute walk test, Timed Up and Go (TUG), Motor Function Measures-32 (MFM-32) test, and more. These assessments may be recorded to detect and map participants motion and walking patterns. Several patient reported outcome (PROs) questionnaires will also be recorded. Participants may also be asked to monitor exercise and sleep activity at home using an Actigraph wearable device. This study is divided into 2 parts: Part A consists of a single visit. Part B consists of a 1-year longitudinal study with 3 clinical follow-up visits.
NCT03386539
The TEAMMATE Trial will enroll 210 pediatric heart transplant patients from 25 centers at 6 months post-transplant and follow each patient for 2.5 years. Half of the participants will receive everolimus and low-dose tacrolimus and the other half will receive tacrolimus and mycophenolate mofetil. The trial will determine which treatment is better at reducing the cumulative risk of coronary artery vasculopathy, chronic kidney disease and biopsy proven-acute cellular rejection without an increase in graft loss due to all causes (e.g. infection, PTLD, antibody mediated rejection).
NCT02603562
The purpose of this study is to assess the safety and biological activity of ATYR1940 in participants with early onset FSHD.
NCT05014438
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy, safety, and tolerability of BMS-986166 and of branebrutinib, each versus placebo, for the treatment of participants with moderate to severe atopic dermatitis.
NCT03689712
The purpose of the phase 3, clinical study is to determine if GC4419 (avasopasem manganese) administered prior to intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) reduces the severity of radiation induced oral mucositis in patients who have been diagnosed with locally advanced, non-metastatic squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck.

This investigation is intended to provide clinical information about alignment using TruMatch™ and to compare the results to a conventional total knee replacement. TruMatch™ will be compared to a historical control study, which compares alignment results of computer aided surgery (CAS) and conventional surgical techniques. The purpose of this investigation is to determine whether TruMatch™ alignment is non-inferior to alignment achieved with conventional instrumentation. This investigation will compare long leg alignment in total knee replacement achieved by the two types of procedures. Radiographic analysis will be performed by the same independent radiographic reviewer as the historical control study.
NCT03061890
The DINE study will test the hypothesis that potentially avoidable NICU-based exposures contribute to the neuro-cognitive and somatic impairments prevalent among NICU graduates. This hypothesis is drawn from the documented impact of phthalate exposure on early development in term-born children, and the acknowledged presence of these toxic chemicals in the NICU. Third trimester in utero exposure to phthalates have been linked to poorer childhood performance in cognition, motor function, attention, hyperactivity and social behavior. Phthalate exposure is also associated with altered onset of puberty and asthma. The multi-site cohort and approach will clarify the role of NICU-based phthalate exposure on high-prevalence clinical outcomes.
