NCT02471183
This study enrolls patients with pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) treated with inhaled treprostinil. During the study, the treatment with inhaled treprostinil will be tapered off and simultaneously replaced with an oral treatment (selexipag) targeting the disease in a similar way. The purpose of the study is i) to investigate the safety and tolerability of oral selexipag in patients who transition from inhaled treprostinil, ii) to investigate the effects of oral selexipag on PAH severity and exercise ability before and after transition, and iii) to gain new information about the patients experience taking oral selexipag compared to inhaled treprostinil. Study participants may stay in the study until the FDA has granted marketing authorization.
NCT01272219
This trial is conducted in Africa, Asia, Europe, Oceania, North America and South America. The aim of this clinical trial is to evaluate the potential of liraglutide to induce and maintain weight loss over 56 weeks in obese subjects or overweight subjects with co-morbidities. Furthermore, the aim is to investigate the long term potential of liraglutide to delay the onset of type 2 diabetes in subjects diagnosed with pre-diabetes at baseline. Based on body mass index (BMI) and pre-diabetes status, subjects will be randomised to either 68 weeks (56 weeks of randomised treatment followed by a 12 week re-randomised treatment period) or 160 weeks of treatment (160 week treatment will only be applicable to subjects with pre-diabetes status at baseline).

NCT02134015
1. Part A: Subjects will receive Patritumab or placebo with erlotinib. Progression-free survival will be the primary outcome. Subjects will need to have Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor (EGFR) wild-type, locally advance or metastatic NSCLC and have their cancer progressed after at least one prior systemic anti-cancer therapy, available recent or archival tumor specimen and may not have had previous EGFR-targeted regimen, anti-HER2 (Human Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor 2), anti-HER3, or anti-HER4 therapy. Subjects may have high heregulin or low heregulin. 2. Part B: Subjects will receive Patritumab or placebo with erlotinib. Overall survival will be the primary outcome. Subjects will need to have EGFR wild-type, locally advance or metastatic NSCLC and have their cancer progressed after at least one prior systemic anti-cancer therapy, available recent or archival tumor specimen and may not have had previous EGFR-targeted regimen, anti-HER2, anti-HER3, or anti-HER4 therapy. Only subjects with high heregulin will be enrolled.
NCT00398645
This study is designed to determine if the investigational drug is effective and safe in individuals with asthma.
NCT01764841
The purpose of this study is to evaluate if the time to first pulmonary exacerbation of bronchiectasis or its frequency can be prolonged by inhalation of ciprofloxacin for 28 days every other 28 days or for 14 days every other 14 days over 48 weeks.
NCT01772823
Approximately 200 HIV-uninfected young men who have sex with men (YMSM) at high risk of acquiring HIV infection, ages 18-22 years, inclusive, will be recruited across all participating Adolescent Medicine Trials Units (AMTU). The behavioral intervention will be assigned at the level of the site, which include Many Men, Many Voices (3MV) and Personalized Cognitive Counseling (PCC). Subjects will first complete the behavioral intervention offered at their respective site and then be provided with open label emtricitabine (FTC)/tenofovir (TDF) (Truvada®) as PrEP. Behavioral and biomedical data will be collected at baseline and 0, 4, 8, 12, 24, 36 and 48 weeks. Any subjects who become HIV infected during the course of the study will be discontinued from the study agent and followed for an additional 24 weeks after the study visit at which HIV infection is confirmed. Those subjects who meet specific bone or renal criteria at the Week 48 visit or the 24-Week HIV Seropositive visit will be followed for an additional 48 weeks in the Extension Phase to monitor longer-term outcomes of potential concerns.
