The phase 2 segment that will commence after dose selection in part 1. In part 2, subjects will be randomized 1:1:1 to AMG 655, AMG 479, or placebo in combination with gemcitabine.
NCT01503515
This randomized phase III trial studies how well caspofungin acetate works compared to fluconazole or voriconazole in preventing fungal infections in patients following donor stem cell transplant. Caspofungin acetate, fluconazole, and voriconazole may be effective in preventing fungal infections in patients following donor stem cell transplant. It is not yet known whether caspofungin acetate is more effective than fluconazole or voriconazole in preventing fungal infections in patients following donor stem cell transplant.
NCT02302222
The goal of this study is to evaluate the impact of Customizable in the management of extensive closed surgical incisions for Subjects undergoing abdominal surgery for incisional hernia repair and/or functional panniculectomy as compared to SOC dressing, and to significantly reduce the SSC rate experienced by Subjects receiving Customizable vs. SOC surgical incision dressing.
NCT05918029
The goal of this clinical trial is to test whether potassium citrate improves skeletal health in adults and children with chronic kidney disease. The main questions it aims to answer are: * To evaluate effects of potassium citrate treatment on bone quality and strength. * To evaluate mechanism(s) underlying the effects of potassium citrate on skeletal health. Participants will be asked to: * provide blood, urine and answer questions about health and diet three times during an 8 months period * undergo advanced bone imaging with high resolution-peripheral quantitative CT scan twice during 8 months * take study pills for 4-6 weeks at the beginning of the study to ensure safety * take either potassium citrate or placebo for 6 months during the blinded portion of the study As part of the study, there will be a run-in period followed by the placebo-controlled randomized clinical trial. Researchers will compare the bone imaging between the potassium citrate and the placebo groups at the end of the study.
NCT06161493
This Phase I, open label, dose determining study of oral niraparib in combination with ZEN003694 given daily in 28-day cycles will enroll patients with metastatic or recurrent solid cancer. Dose escalation will follow the mTPI-2/Keyboard design. Eligible patients will receive therapy until disease progression or unacceptable toxicities are experienced.
NCT03721978
HPV-303 is a prospective, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study of VGX-3100 delivered intramuscularly (IM) followed by electroporation (EP) delivered with CELLECTRA™ 5PSP in adult women with histologically confirmed high-grade squamous intraepithelial lesions (HSIL) (cervical intraepithelial neoplasia grade 2 \[CIN2\] or grade 3 \[CIN3\]) of the cervix, associated with human papillomavirus (HPV-16) and/or HPV-18.
NCT04904549
The purpose of this Phase III study is to assess the efficacy, safety, and immunogenicity of two CoV2 preS dTM-AS03 vaccines (monovalent and bivalent) as part of primary series vaccinations in a multi-stage approach, as well as a booster injection of a CoV2 preS dTM-AS03 vaccine, in adults 18 years of age and older. A total of approximately 21 046 participants are planned to be enrolled (5080 per study intervention group in Stage 1 and 5443 per study intervention group in Stage 2). Initial, double-blind, primary series study design is planned for 365 days post-last Initial injection (ie, approximately 386 days total) for each participant. Based on decisions of the Study Oversight Group, Stage 1 and Stage 2 participants will be invited to participate in an unblinded Crossover / Booster study design with duration as follows: * For participants who initially received vaccine: 12 months post-booster (ie, approximately 18 to 24 months) * For participants who initially received placebo: ≥ 4 months post-last dose of the primary series + 12 months post-booster (ie, approximately 28 to 34 months) * For participants who do not consent to continue in the unblinded Crossover / Booster part of the study, all study procedures will be stopped and participants will be discontinued from the study.
NCT04144517
The primary objective of this study was to estimate the response rate to ALKS 4230 in combination with pembrolizumab in patients with HNSCC who had previously received anti-PD-(L)1 therapy but who had not achieved a CR.
NCT03274466
This study evaluates surgical site complications in subjects undergoing revision of a total knee arthroplasty when closed incision negative pressure therapy is used to manage the closed incision, as compared to a standard of care dressing.
NCT03537508
The purpose of this study was to compare the immunogenicity and describe the safety of MenACYW conjugate vaccine and MENVEO® when both are administered concomitantly with routine pediatric vaccines to healthy infants and toddlers in the US.
NCT01649869
This is an international, multi-center, double-blind, placebo-controlled evaluation valganciclovir treatment for up to 54 children (up to 4 years of age) with virologically-confirmed congenital CMV infection and hearing loss. Subject participation will be over a six-month period and study subjects will be stratified according to age. The primary objective is to assess whether a six-week course of oral valganciclovir can stabilize the hearing of children with congenital CMV infection who present with hearing loss.
NCT01948882
The Essure System is indicated for women who desire non-incisional permanent birth control (female sterilization) by occlusion of the fallopian tubes. The objective of the study is to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of the Essure System (Model ESS505) for permanent birth control in preventing pregnancy. The Essure ESS505 System includes a design modification that will be studied to determine if it provides immediate birth control, thereby removing the three months waiting period required for the commercially available Essure System Model 305 to be effective.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the pharmacokinetics of a single oral dose of fezolinetant and ES259564 (fezolinetant metabolite) in female participants with varying levels of renal impairment (mild, moderate and severe) compared to healthy female participants with normal renal function. This study will also evaluate the safety and tolerability of a single oral dose of fezolinetant in female participants with varying levels of renal impairment (mild, moderate and severe) and healthy female participants with normal renal function. Renal function will be measured by estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) using the modification of diet in renal disease (MDRD) formula: Mild (eGFR 60 to \< 90 mL/min per 1.73 m\^2) renal impairment; moderate (eGFR 30 to \< 60 mL/min per 1.73 m\^2) renal impairment, severe (eGFR \< 30 mL/min per 1.73 m\^2) renal impairment and not on hemodialysis and normal (eGFR ≥ 90 mL/min per 1.73 m\^2) renal function.
