NCT00003641
RATIONALE: Interferon alfa may interfere with the growth of cancer cells. It is not yet known whether treatment with interferon alfa is more effective than observation alone for stage II or stage III melanoma that has been completely removed surgically. PURPOSE: This randomized phase III trial is studying high dose interferon alfa to see how well it works compared to observation only in treating patients with stage II or stage III melanoma that has been completely removed by surgery.
NCT07356232
This is a multicenter non-randomized prospective open label trial of partial enteral nutrition (PEN) among patients with active Crohn's disease (CD) starting standard of care advanced therapy. Our central hypothesis is that combination therapy of PEN and pharmacologic therapy is more efficacious than pharmacologic therapy alone and can be well-tolerated for patients. Participants will choose to either include PEN along with starting their advanced therapy or will choose not to include PEN. 80 participants will be recruited from 15 sites across the United States.
NCT07433699
The objective of this study is to compare the effects of image-guided programming algorithm using various image segmentations vs standard clinical programming on reduction of tremor and patient satisfaction.
NCT03911700
This trial is being conducted to evaluate the efficacy of Phasix™ Mesh implantation at the time of midline fascial closure compared to primary suture closure in preventing a subsequent incisional hernia in subjects at risk for incisional hernia after open midline laparotomy surgery.
NCT03725202
This study consists of two periods. The objective of Period 1 is to evaluate the efficacy of upadacitinib in combination with a 26-week corticosteroid (CS) taper regimen compared to placebo in combination with a 52-week CS taper regimen, as measured by the proportion of participants in sustained remission at Week 52, and to assess the safety and tolerability of upadacitinib in participants with giant cell arteritis (GCA). The objective of Period 2 is to evaluate the safety and efficacy of continuing versus withdrawing upadacitinib in maintaining remission in participants who achieved sustained remission in Period 1.
NCT04870944
This phase I/II trial evaluates the best dose, side effects and possible benefit of CBL0137 in treating patients with solid tumors, including central nervous system (CNS) tumors or lymphoma that has come back (relapsed) or does not respond to treatment (refractory). Drugs, such as CBL0137, block signals passed from one molecule to another inside a cell. Blocking these signals can affect many functions of the cell, including cell division and cell death, and may kill cancer cells.
NCT01314118
The purpose of this study is to show that abiraterone acetate plus prednisone added to the current standard of care, gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) decreases prostate specific antigen (PSA) and prolongs the time until it is evident that the cancer has grown. Additionally, safety information about abiraterone acetate in combination with prednisone will be collected. This will include looking at what side effects occur, how often they occur, and for how long they last.
NCT04246281
The purpose of this study is to compare standard of care treatments for back pain to electrical stimulation. Stimulation is delivering small amounts of electricity to the nerves in your low back. This study will use a device called the SPRINT Peripheral Nerve Stimulation (PNS) System. The device is cleared by the FDA for up to 60 days of use for the relief of chronic or acute pain (including back pain)
NCT03924401
This trial will see if extended abatacept administration (combined with a standard regimen of tacrolimus and mycophenolate mofetil) will prevent acute and chronic graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) in children and adolescents receiving unrelated donor (URD) hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT), without compromising their engraftment or reconstitution of protective immunity to infection. The study will enroll 30 pediatric patients with serious non-malignant hematologic diseases (NMHD) undergoing URD HSCT. The trial will include patients with 7/8 donors and those with 8/8 (matched) donors. All participants will receive 8 doses of abatacept. Recruitment is expected to last for about 2 years and participants will be followed for up to 3 years.
NCT06362759
This study will evaluate the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, and CRP-lowering effect of quarterly and monthly subcutaneous administration of TOUR006 (also known as pacibekitug) in participants with chronic kidney disease and elevated hs-CRP.
NCT06449222
This study is a Phase II, multi-site, randomized, open-label clinical study to evaluate the safety, efficacy, and pharmacokinetics (PK) of BNT327 at two dose levels in combination with chemotherapeutic agents in the first- and second-line treatment of participants with locally advanced/metastatic triple-negative breast cancer (mTNBC).
NCT03400332
The purpose of this study is to investigate experimental medication BMS-986253 in combination with Nivolumab or Nivolumab plus Ipilimumab in participants with advanced cancers.
NCT07219511
A Safety, Tolerability, and Biomarker Trial of VS-041 in Participants with Heart Failure with Preserved Ejection Fraction (HFpEF)
NCT02790983
This project aims to establish a network of spine oncology centers dedicated to prospective multicenter research of patients diagnosed with a primary tumor of the spine and will include a comprehensive prospective clinical database which will serve as a shared research platform. Demographic, clinical, diagnostic, and therapeutic variables will be used to answer questions about survival and local recurrence, as well as questions about adverse events (AEs), morbidity data, and health-related quality of life (HRQOL) outcomes.
NCT02926690
The purpose of this study is to determine the maximum tolerated dose (MTD) of OTS167 administered via oral capsule (PO) to patients with relapsed/refractory locally advanced or metastatic breast cancer.
NCT06005493
This research is designed to determine if experimental treatment with AZD5863, a T cell-engaging bispecific antibody that targets Claudin 18.2 (CLDN18.2) and CD3, is safe, tolerable and has anti-cancer activity in patients with advanced solid tumors.
NCT05469737
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and efficacy of oral azacitidine in participants with low to intermediate International Prognostic Scoring System Revised (IPSS-R) myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS).
NCT05593094
This will be a Phase 1, multicenter, open-label trial to evaluate the safety, tolerability, PK and efficacy of ZN-A-1041 as a monotherapy or in combination in participants with HER2-positive advanced solid tumors with or without brain metastases. The study will consist of three phases: Phase 1a (dose escalation with ZN-A-1041 monotherapy), Phase 1b (dose escalation with ZN-A-1041 combination therapy) and Phase 1c (dose expansion with ZN-A-1041 combination therapy).
