NCT05032352
Prospective Registrational Trial to Define Real World Outcomes of Patients with Completely Resected Stage I or IIA (tumor \< or = 5cm, node negative) Non-squamous Non-Small Lung Cancer (NSCLC) Identified as High, Intermediate, or Low Risk by a 14-Gene Prognostic Assay DetermaRx being Considered for Adjuvant Platinum-based chemotherapy or other adjuvant therapy versus Observation
NCT03082729
The purpose of the VIP-A study is to determine the effect of apremilast on aortic vascular inflammation, cardiometabolic biomarkers and body composition in patients with moderate-severe psoriasis.
NCT05080907
iSpecimen aims to create a clinical partner network of hospitals, laboratories, academic institutions, and other healthcare organizations ("institutions") capable of providing researchers and educators ("researchers") with annotated biospecimens for use in biomarker discovery and validation; diagnostic test and instrumentation development and validation; therapeutics development; other medical research including the impact that various specimen collection and handling methods and conditions have on research results; and in education such as researcher or physician training (collectively "research").
NCT01115569
This Phase 3, multi-center study will evaluate the long-term safety and tolerability of hydrocodone bitartrate controlled release capsule (HC-CR) at daily doses of 40 mg or more in subjects with moderate to severe chronic pain. Long-term maintenance of HC-CR efficacy will be evaluated.
NCT00674440
Children with congenital hyperinsulinism (CHI) have low blood sugar, and some of these children may require surgery. In this study, researchers affiliated with the University of Pennsylvania will test how well a radioactive drug (called F-DOPA) can detect a form of hyperinsulinism that may be cured by surgery. Eligible participants in this study will have positron emission tomography (PET) scans with F-DOPA prior to surgery.
NCT04043312
Ventricular Tachycardia storm is a medical emergency characterized by three or more episodes of ventricular arrhythmia within 24 hours and associated with a significantly increased mortality and massive health resource utilization. Several therapies are utilized including sympathetic blockade (through deep sedation and beta blockers), antiarrhythmic drugs, implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD) reprograming where applicable, and catheter ablation. Despite standard intervention, mortality rates remain high and additional therapeutic options are actively being investigated. The overall objective of this proposal is to investigate whether transcutaneous magnetic stimulation designed to inhibit the left stellate ganglion can be used in this population. This is a single-center, randomized, sham-controlled trial to assess the efficacy of transcutaneous magnetic stimulation of the left stellate ganglion to treat patients with ventricular tachycardia storm.
NCT01693783
This phase II trial studies how well ipilimumab works in treating patients with human papilloma virus (HPV)-related cervical cancer that has come back or that has spread to other areas of the body. Monoclonal antibodies, such as ipilimumab, can find tumor cells and help kill them or carry tumor-killing substances to them.
NCT00845026
The primary objective of this study was to assess time to discontinuation due to lack of tolerability among patients with schizophrenia receiving LY2140023, given orally twice daily for 24 weeks, versus those on atypical antipsychotic standard-of-care (SOC) treatment. Lack of tolerability was defined as discontinuation due to adverse events (AEs). Patients who completed the active treatment phase were eligible to continue to an optional 28 weeks of treatment extension phase. This extension phase assessed key safety and efficacy measures.
NCT05010512
The purpose of this study is to compare the clinical performance of DAILIES TOTAL1 ( DT1) contact lenses with Infuse contact lenses.
NCT01763866
The primary objective was to evaluate the effect of 12 weeks of evolocumab administered subcutaneously every 2 weeks (Q2W) and monthly (QM) when used in combination with a statin, compared with placebo, on percent change from baseline in low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) in patients with primary hypercholesterolemia and mixed dyslipidemia.
NCT03352557
The primary objective of the placebo-controlled period is to evaluate the safety and tolerability of BIIB092 in participants with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) due to Alzheimer's disease (AD) or with mild AD. The secondary objectives of the placebo-controlled period are to evaluate the efficacy of multiple doses of BIIB092 in slowing cognitive and functional impairment in participants with MCI due to AD or with mild AD, and to evaluate the immunogenicity of BIIB092 after multiple doses in participants with MCI due to AD or with mild AD. The primary objective of the long-term extension period is to evaluate the long-term safety and tolerability of BIIB092 in participants with MCI due to AD or with mild AD.
NCT01416428
The purpose of this study is to determine the maximum tolerated dose (MTD), activity, and safety of oprozomib in patients with hematologic malignancies.
NCT03924323
This is a study in minors (7 to 17 years old) diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) and evaluated using standard questionnaires as having at least moderate severity of GAD. Participating minors will be assigned to receive either the study drug escitalopram or a pill without any drug in it called a placebo. The purpose of this research is to study the safety and effectiveness of escitalopram in minors with GAD.
NCT03712228
This is a multicenter, randomized, placebo-controlled, parallel-arm, phase 2 study to investigate the clinical efficacy, pharmacokinetics, and safety of CSL312 as prophylaxis to prevent attacks in subjects with HAE.
NCT01559363
The primary objective of this study Phase 1b was to determine the safety, plasma pharmacokinetics, and maximum tolerated dose (MTD) of tesevatinib when administered to participants with autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease (ADPKD). The primary objective of this study Phase 2a was to evaluate the annualized change in glomerular filtration rate (GFR) in participants with ADPKD when treated with tesevatinib.
NCT01375777
The primary objective was to evaluate the effect of 12 weeks of subcutaneous evolocumab (AMG 145) every 2 weeks (Q2W) or every 4 weeks (Q4W), compared with placebo, on the percent change from baseline in LDL-C when used as monotherapy in adults with hypercholesterolemia.
NCT05235347
An expanded access program for sotrovimab administered intravenously to participants with COVID-19 illness who meet current authorized/approved criteria for use of sotrovimab.
NCT00911820
There is no clear standard of care for metastatic stomach or esophageal cancer in the United States. The purpose of this research study is to determine the differences between two regimens of chemotherapy; Arm A: PCA (Cisplatin, Irinotecan and Bevacizumab) and Arm B: TPCA (Docetaxel, Cisplatin, Irinotecan and Bevacizumab). Docetaxel, Cisplatin, and Irinotecan are traditional chemotherapy drugs. Bevacizumab is an antibody (a protein that attacks a foreign substance in the body). Bevacizumab is believed to stop the formation of new blood vessels that carry nutrients to tumors. Both of the chemotherapy regimens (PCA and TPCA) have been studied in patients with esophageal and gastric cancer, and we are trying to determine if one regimen will keep your cancer from growing and improve how long you can live.
NCT04095143
Fluid overload is associated with adverse outcomes in patients with severe acute kidney injury. It remains unclear if fluid overload is merely a marker of disease severity or if organ congestion is a mediator of complications. Point-of-care ultrasound could be a modality used to assess organ congestion and its clinical implications. The objective of this study is to determine whether ultrasound markers of organ congestion are associated with major adverse kidney events in critically ill patients with severe acute kidney injury.
NCT05233410
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of ruxolitinib cream in adult participants with diagnosis of chronic hand eczema (CHE) and moderate to severe disease activity (Investigator's Global Assessement (IGA) of CHE score 3 or 4).
