NCT04627025
The primary objective of the trial is the confirmation of the efficacy of apraglutide to evaluate the efficacy of weekly subcutaneous apraglutide in reducing parenteral support dependency.
NCT04093349
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety, tolerability, and efficacy of a single intravenous infusion of SPK-3006 in adults with clinically moderate, late-onset Pompe disease receiving enzyme replacement therapy (ERT). Participants will be treated in sequential, dose-level cohorts.
NCT06074601
The goal of this observational study is to develop and validate cell-free RNA-based biomarkers for predicting a variety of adverse pregnancy outcomes in a pregnant person population. The main question it aims to answer are: 1. Can cell-free RNA-based biomarkers predict which pregnant people are at greatest risk of developing adverse pregnancy outcomes (e.g., preterm birth, preeclampsia)? 2. What is the performance of such biomarkers when predicting an adverse pregnancy outcome (e.g., sensitivity, specificity, PPV, NPV, TPR)?
NCT03192176
This study determined the effects of different doses and dosing regimens of ESN364 on the frequency and severity of hot flashes. The treatment was administered for 12 weeks to postmenopausal women, aged 40 to 65, suffering at least 50 moderate to severe hot flashes per week.
NCT02675231
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of abemaciclib plus trastuzumab with or without fulvestrant versus trastuzumab plus physicians choice standard of care chemotherapy in women with hormone receptor positive (HR+), human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 positive (HER2+) locally advanced or metastatic breast cancer after prior exposure to at least two HER2-directed therapies for advanced disease.
NCT03148275
This phase II trial studies how well trametinib works in treating patients with epithelioid hemangioendothelioma that has spread to other places in the body (metastatic), nearby tissue or lymph nodes (locally advanced), or cannot be removed by surgery (unresectable). Trametinib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth.
NCT06526923
This is a Phase 1/2 multicenter, open-label, single dose trial of SP-101 investigational gene therapy in adults with CF who are ineligible for or intolerant to CFTR modulator therapy.
NCT05899218
Critical narrative interventions (CNIs) have not been examined for addressing psychological outcomes (e.g., depression, anxiety, self-esteem, empowerment, psychological well-being) within sexual and gender minority emerging adults (SGM EA) of color; therefore, this pilot study will examine the use of CNIs to impact SGM of color psychological outcomes. Prior literature has shown that CNIs have the potential to increase empowerment, self-efficacy, and social support as a prevention strategy for mental health. The research study is being conducted to see if telling your story through photographs or video can improve the mental health and well-being of emerging adults that identify as a member of a sexual and/or gender minority and a racial and/or ethnic minority. Participants will be asked to complete the following research procedures: 1. take a survey online (about 20-30 minutes), then an interview about everyday experiences as sexual/gender minority of color and your experiences in seeking out mental health services. 2. After the interview, participants will have one month to tell their story, answering two prompts "Tell us a time you have felt seen" and "Tell us a time when you have felt unseen." You will be randomized to one of two formats of telling your story: taking photographs or making two short videos. 1. Photographs: Those that are randomized to the photograph condition will be asked to take 12 photos total telling your story and answering the prompt. 2. Videos: Those that are randomized to the video condition will be asked to create two (1-3 minute) videos telling your story and answering the prompts. 3. At the one-month time frame, participants will be asked to fill out another survey (about 20-30 minutes) and then complete an interview about the photos or videos created.
NCT04738552
Increased computational power has made it possible to implement complex image recognition tasks and machine learning to be implemented in every day usage. The computer vision and machine learning based solution used in this project (Nelli) is an automatic seizure detection and reporting method that has a CE mark for this specific use. The present study will provide data to expand the utility and detection capability of NELLI and enhance the accuracy and clinical utility of automated computer vision and machine learning based seizure detection.
NCT04508335
The purpose of this study is to obtain preliminary data on the effectiveness, safety, function, comfort, and patient satisfaction with a novel vaginal pessary design for the use in women who suffer from symptoms of pelvic organ prolapse (POP) and have already opted for non-surgical management. Recruited patients will have Stage II POP or greater and will be current users of a Gellhorn or ring style pessary. Following enrollment, each subject will enter a 1-month wash out period in which they will continue using their current pessary so that baseline subjective and objective data can be collected. They will then be fit with a study pessary and enter a 3-month treatment phase. Comparative, subjective, and objective data will be collected at the conclusion of the study.
NCT05156073
The Shared Decision Making about Medication Use for People with Multiple Health Problems study will assess the feasibility and acceptability of a deprescribing educational intervention in primary care for patients with mild cognitive impairment or dementia and/or multiple chronic conditions (MCC), the patients' care partners, clinicians, and medical assistants. The intervention consists of the following strategies: 1) a patient/caregiver component focused on education and activation about deprescribing, and 2) a clinician component focused on increasing clinician awareness about options and processes for deprescribing in the MCI/dementia and/or MCC population. Clinicians will each be asked to participate in a single, 15-minute educational session on deprescribing, and medical residents will receive a 45-minute lecture. Patients, caregivers, clinicians, and medical assistants will participate in a single one-on-one debriefing interview.
NCT04079296
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the safety and tolerability and to determine the recommended phase 2 dose (RP2D) and/or the maximum tolerated dose (MTD) of ASP7517. This study also evaluated the clinical response of ASP7517 as well as other measures of anticancer activity of ASP7517.
NCT04516447
This is a Phase 1b open-label, multicenter study, evaluating the safety, tolerability, preliminary clinical activity, pharmacokinetics (PK), and pharmacodynamics of ZN-c3 in combination with other drugs.
NCT05531591
The purpose of this study is to assess which antidepressants work the best in older adults who have treatment-resistant depression (TRD), and to test whether treatment-resistant late life depression is associated with declines in memory and attention and brain structure and function.
NCT02702492
This study will evaluate the safety, tolerability, and efficacy of oral KPT-9274 for the treatment of patients with advanced solid malignancies or non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL).
NCT05198349
The main purpose of this study was to determine the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics (PK), pharmacodynamics (PD) and early signs of efficacy of M1069 in participants with advanced solid malignancies.
NCT04657679
The aim is to determine the pharmacological and biochemical association between ribociclib exposure and CYP3A variants in African American/Blacks and Non-Hispanic White patients. The investigators hypothesize that patients treated with ribociclib who are CYP3A5 poor metabolizers may be exposed to higher levels of ribociclib than CYP3A5 intermediate or normal metabolizers. The findings could allow clinicians to tailor treatments to maintain therapeutic doses while limiting toxicities.
NCT05459545
The purpose of this research is to prospectively test and validate the utility of Eko artificial intelligence (AI) plus Eko Murmur Analysis Software (EMAS) murmur characterization in algorithm in a real world, point-of-care setting.
