NCT04247880
Women are highly underrepresented in the construction skilled trades. In addition to facing the industry's well-known physical risks, women are subjected to discrimination, harassment, and skills under-utilization. As a result, tradeswomen have increased risk for injury, stress-related health effects, and high attrition rates from apprenticeship programs, thus perpetuating their minority status. Mentoring is a well-established technique for learning technical and personal navigation skills in new or challenging social environments. The investigators propose development and dissemination of a mentorship program through local unions of the International Association of Sheet Metal, Air, Rail and Transportation Workers (SMART), and evaluating its success in reducing women's injury and work stress, while improving retention.

NCT06747845
The main goal of this study is to look at the effectiveness and anti-tumor activity (preventing growth of the tumor) of the drugs niraparib and ipilimumab, on the patients and their pancreatic cancer. This study will involve two different treatment arms. In Arm A, patients will receive niraparib plus ipilimumab. In Arm B, patients will receive standard chemotherapy. The main questions the study aims to answer are: * Does niraparib plus ipilimumab slow down tumor growth in patients with pancreatic cancer? * What medical problems do participants have when taking niraparib plus ipilimumab? Participants will: * Undergo screening procedures to evaluate their cancer, overall health, and suitability for the study * After passing screening, will be randomized to Arm A or B and be scheduled to receive niraparib plus ipilimumab (Arm A) or chemotherapy (Arm B) * Receive niraparib plus ipilimumab every 3 weeks (Arm A) * Receive chemotherapy every 2 weeks (Arm B) * Visit the clinic for regular checkups and tests
NCT05675371
The goal of this clinical study is to learn about the utility and performance of the EarliPoint(™) System: Evaluation for Autism Spectrum Disorder to monitor changes in a child's verbal ability, non-verbal learning, and social disability over time in children ages 15-84 months with autism spectrum disorder or related developmental delays (DD) and in those who are typically developing. The main questions it aims to answer are: * To estimate the change in each of the EarliPoint index scores in typically developing children ages 15-84 months from baseline through 180 days as a function of the child's age. * To estimate the change in the EarliPoint verbal and non-verbal index scores in ASD/DD children ages 15-84 months from baseline through 180 days as a function of the child's age in: a) those who showed clinical improvement, and b) those who did not show clinical improvement. * To estimate the relationship of the EarliPoint verbal and non-verbal index scores to clinical reference assessments in ASD/DD children as a function of their age from baseline through 180 days. * To estimate the degree of change, if change occurs, month-to-month in the EarliPoint Social Disability Index score from baseline through 180 days. * To estimate the incidence of behavioral events (e.g., tantrums, etc.) which limit the subject from completing an eye-tracking session. * To estimate the incidence of adverse device effects associated with the use of the study device.
NCT04071457
Patients are enrolled to screening (Reg Step 1) prior to or after ASCT but prior to Reg Step 2. Patients are followed until they will begin Maintenance and then registered to Reg Step 2 (first randomization). Patients are randomized between Lenalidomide for 2 years and Lenalidomide + Daratumumab/rHuPH20. After 2 years of Maintenance, MRD is assessed to guide further therapy. MRD-positive patients will continue with the assigned treatment. MRD-negative patients will be further randomized (Reg Step 3) to either continue or discontinue the assigned treatment. Patients are treated for up to 7 years from Step 2 reg and followed for up to 15 years.
NCT05582018
Pilot study planned to demonstrate the safety and effectiveness of the use of BioTraceIO 360 for Planning, Monitoring and Assessment of liver tissue ablation procedures Multi-center (up to 5 investigational sites) prospective single-arm clinical investigation. Sample size - 30 subjects.
NCT05814016
The main aim is to see if danavorexton can help improve people's breathing in the recovery room after abdominal surgery.
NCT03254667
Prospective, Observational Study to Assess the Long-Term Safety of Brodalumab Compared with Other Therapies in the Treatment of Adults with Moderate-to-Severe Psoriasis
NCT04084730
The purpose of this study is to determine if the dose of radiation therapy that is effective in producing a treatment response, delivered over a shorter treatment period, is a safe approach that causes few or mild side effects in women with newly diagnosed breast cancer or DCIS who have had a lumpectomy procedure.
NCT03030118
This project is a multicenter, randomized, placebo-controlled, double-blind clinical trial that is designed to test whether treating patients who are at risk for development of lupus with hydroxychloroquine can slow accumulation of disease features. Effects on clinical progression of symptoms, patient-reported outcomes and changes in the immune markers of response will be measured and toxicity of the treatment will be assessed. This trial is a first step in testing a prevention strategy for lupus.
NCT03596671
The OASIS study is prospective, interventional, multi-center study to evaluate the safety and efficacy of the BlueWind RENOVA iStim™ implantable tibial neuromodulation System for the treatment of patients diagnosed with overactive bladder.
NCT04008940
In order to assess the rate and mode of failure cases observed in patients with distal femur fractures treated with a distal femur plates, anonymized radiographs from those patients will be collected retrospectively. All available images will reviewed by an expert review board in regards to fracture classification, implant and surgery details, quality of initial reduction and plate positioning as well as the occurrence of mechanical complications and the outcome in terms of fracture healing (if available). Additionally, age and gender as basic demographical data will be collected in a de-identified way..
NCT04087291
This study evaluates how Veterans with chronic low back pain (cLBP) respond to varying doses of chiropractic therapy and how health services utilization are impacted as a result. There are 2 phases in this study. In Phase 1, half of participants will receive a low dose (1-5 visits) of chiropractic care for 10 weeks, while the other half will receive a higher dose (8-12 visits) for 10 weeks. At the end of Phase 1, participants in each group will be randomized again to receive either chronic chiropractic pain management (CCPM) (1 scheduled chiropractic visit per month x 10 months) or no CCPM for 10 months.

In addition to this, the study aims to achieve several secondary objectives, including a detailed assessment of the medical history, socio-demographic and disease characteristics of dupilumab-treated PN patients, as well as the evaluation of the long-term real-world effectiveness of dupilumab therapy for PN.
NCT05748873
This is a two-step, multicenter, Phase I/II study including an open-label dose-escalation phase (Step 1) and a three-arm, controlled, double-masked, randomized extension phase (Step 2), in subjects with advanced RCD due to a mutation in the RHO, PDE6A, or PDE6B gene.
NCT00819208
RATIONALE: Participating in a physical activity program designed to increase free time physical activity and receiving written health education materials may influence the chance of cancer recurring as well as impact on physical fitness, psychological well-being and the quality of life of patients who have undergone surgery and chemotherapy for colon cancer. It is not yet known whether giving a physical activity program together with health education materials is more effective than giving health education materials alone for patients who have undergone colon cancer treatment. PURPOSE: This randomized phase III trial is studying a physical activity program given together with health education materials to see how well it works compared with giving health education materials alone for patients who have undergone treatment for high-risk stage II or stage III colon cancer.
