This randomized clinical trial studies iPad use in reducing anxiety and depression in patients undergoing bone marrow transplant. A tablet device like the iPad can provide access to music, television, movies, books, and the Internet. It also contains a video conferencing system that can allow patients to communicate with family members and other members of their social support team. With these capabilities, an iPad distribution program may help lessen patient anxiety and depression during a hospital stay. Monitoring iPad use by patients may help doctors better understand how patients use their computers and tablets while in the hospital so that the software and applications of the iPad can be made more useful.

The purpose of this study is to compare two doses of immunoselected, culture-expanded, nucleated, allogeneic adult MPCs when combined with hyaluronic acid to two control intradiscal injections in subjects with chronic low back pain due to moderate Degenerative Disc Disease (DDD) at one lumbar level from L1 to S1. All investigational subjects in this study will undergo injection of either 6 million (M) or 18M cells in a hyaluronic acid carrier into the degenerated lumbar disc's nucleus pulposus. This is a prospective, multi-center study of patients with intracranial or peripheral aneurysms who are treated by the PC 400 System. The primary objective is to gather post market data on the Penumbra Coil 400 (PC 400) System in the acute treatment of intracranial and peripheral aneurysms. Approximately 2,000 patients with intracranial or peripheral aneurysms treated by the PC 400 System at up to 100 centers will be enrolled. Data for each patient are collected up to discharge or 3 days post-procedure, whichever occurs sooner. Long term follow-up to one year will be conducted in accordance to the standard of care at each participating hospital.

Veliparib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as floxuridine, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Giving veliparib together with floxuridine may kill more tumor cells.
