NCT04163185
AXS-07 is an oral, investigational medicine consisting of MoSEIC meloxicam and rizatriptan, which is being developed for the acute treatment of migraine with or without aura in adults. AXS-07 tablets are formulated to provide an enhanced rate of absorption of meloxicam. This study is designed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of AXS-07 compared to placebo. This is a randomized, double-blind, single-dose, placebo-controlled trial. Subjects who successfully complete the screening period and continue to meet all entry criteria will be randomly assigned to take one dose of either AXS-07 or placebo upon the earliest onset of migraine pain.

NCT05505630
Double-blind, placebo-controlled, randomized mechanistic clinical trial to test an intravenous dose of either ketamine, midazolam, dexmedetomidine, or a placebo (saline) on cigarette smoking behavior, craving, and neural effects.
NCT05035212
Efficacy Study: This randomized, double-blinded, placebo-controlled Phase 3 study is designed to assess the safety, immunogenicity, and efficacy of a single dose of RSVpreF in the prevention of LRTI-RSV in adults: * At a dose of 120µg. * In adults 60 years of age and older. * The duration of the study for each participant will be up to approximately 24 months. * The study will be conducted in the United States, Canada, Netherlands, Finland, Argentina, Japan and South Africa. Substudy A: This study is an extension of the efficacy study and was designed to evaluate the safety and immunogenicity of a second dose of RSVpreF when administered after a dosing interval of approximately 2 years: * At a dose of 120µg (as studied in the Phase 3 Efficacy Study) * Blood samples will be collected for antibody testing. * The duration of the study for each participant will be up to approximately 18 months. * The study will be conducted in the United States and Argentina. Substudy B: This study was designed to evaluate the safety and immunogenicity of a second dose of RSVpreF when administered after a dosing interval of approximately 1 year: * At a dose of 120µg (as studied in the Phase 3 Efficacy Study) * Blood samples will be collected for antibody testing. * The duration of the study for each participant will be up to approximately 18 months. * The study will be conducted in Argentina. Substudy C: This study was designed to evaluate the safety and immunogenicity of a second dose of RSVpreF when administered after a dosing interval of either 3 or 4 years: * At a dose of 120µg (as studied in the Phase 3 Efficacy Study) * Participants will receive either placebo or a second dose of RSVpreF approximately 3 or 4 years after receiving the initial dose of RSVpreF in the main efficacy study. * Blood samples will be collected for antibody testing. * The duration of the study for each participant will be up to approximately 24 months. * The study will be conducted in the United States and Canada.
NCT04705779
This study will test whether a culturally-tailored nutrition and exercise intervention designed for African-American women will lead to sustained improvements in exercise and healthy eating through improvements in self-management mediators: mindfulness, stress management, positive reappraisal, self-regulation, and self-efficacy.
NCT07116837
The purpose of the Aim 2 study is to assess the perceived effectiveness of vaping prevention ads among adolescents and young adults and identify which features of video ads predict perceived message effectiveness. Participants will include adolescents aged 13-17 and young adults aged 18-20 who live in the US and who are susceptible to vaping or who currently vape. In an online survey, participants will be randomized to view five randomly selected vaping prevention ads identified from a previous content analysis. After viewing the videos, participants will rate each video on the perceived message effectiveness scale and respond to questions about vaping appeal and urge to vape. The survey will take 15-20 minutes. A follow-up survey of a subset of participants will be conducted around two weeks after they have been exposed to vaping prevention video ads in the baseline survey. Participants will view a total of six videos, including the five videos they watched previously, shown one at a time, along with one "decoy" video ad. After watching each video ad, participants will indicate whether they remember seeing the ad in the survey they took around two weeks prior. The survey will take 10-15 minutes.
NCT07216820
The goal of this clinical trial is to learn whether a phrenic-sparing nerve block can lower early breathing problems after shoulder surgery in adults with obesity, and whether a simple breathing-strength test (maximum inspiratory pressure, MIP) helps identify who is at higher risk. The main questions are: Does the phrenic-sparing approach reduce breathlessness or oxygen need in the recovery room (30-60 minutes after arrival)? Do patients have similar pain control and opioid use compared with the standard interscalene block (ISB)? Are there any breathing-related complications or unplanned admissions within 24 hours? Researchers will compare the phrenic-sparing block (infraclavicular + distal suprascapular) to the standard ISB, both commonly used at UNC. Participants will: Have a quick MIP breath test before surgery (and, if age ≥65, a brief thigh muscle ultrasound). Be randomly assigned to receive either the standard ISB or the phrenic-sparing block (both ultrasound-guided and part of routine care). Receive usual anesthesia/surgery; have a brief recovery check at 30-60 minutes (breathlessness score, oxygen use, oxygen level). Have pain medicines recorded from anesthesia start to PACU discharge; the team may review the chart up to 24 hours and make a short follow-up call (24-48 hours).
NCT04858256
The main purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of the study drug pacritinib in people with relapsed or refractory lymphoproliferative disorders.
NCT05755906
This is a 12-week study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of budesonide and formoterol fumarate metered dose inhaler relative to budesonide metered dose inhaler in adults and adolescents with inadequately controlled asthma.
NCT06035536
The study will evaluate the safety and performance of Symphony™ versus Standard of Care (SOC) in the treatment of chronic non-healing diabetic foot ulcers (DFU) after 12 weeks of treatment.
NCT03598790
This is a study to evaluate the long-term safety and tolerability of bimekizumab in adult subjects with moderate to severe chronic plaque psoriasis (PSO).
NCT05462990
The purpose of the study was to find out if the investigational treatment named QUC398 had beneficial effects on osteoarthritis (OA) knee pain and knee cartilage, and if it was safe and tolerated.
NCT05256940
The purpose of this project is to conduct a randomized control trial with 470 Veterans to examine the impact of a revised version of Motivational Interviewing to Address Suicidal Ideation (MI-SI-R) on risk for suicide attempts and suicidal ideation when compared to high quality usual care.
NCT04886258
This was a double-blinded, two-arm, phase 2a study to assess efficacy, safety and tolerability of DFV890 in participants with symptomatic knee osteoarthritis.
NCT03974022
This study will treat patients with advanced NSCLC with EGFR or HER2 mutation who have progressed following prior therapy. This is the first time this drug is tested in patients, and so it will help to understand what type of side effects may occur with the drug treatment. It will also measure the levels of drug in the body and preliminarily assess its anti-cancer activity as monotherapy.
NCT03370133
This is a study to compare the efficacy of bimekizumab versus placebo and an active comparator in the treatment of subjects with moderate to severe chronic plaque psoriasis (PSO).
NCT05818553

This study is designed to compare the efficacy, safety and immunogenicity of LUBT010 with Lucentis® given as once monthly intravitreal injection in patients with neovascular age-related macular degeneration (AMD).
NCT06342401
Colorectal cancer (CRC) once predominantly affected older individuals, but in recent years has witnessed a progressive increase in incidence among young adults. Once rare, early-onset colorectal cancer (EOCRC, that is, a CRC diagnosed before the age of 50) now constitutes 10-15% of all newly diagnosed CRC cases and it stands as the first cause of cancer-related death in young men and the second for young women. This study aims to detect EOCRC with a non-invasive test, using a blood-based molecular assay based on microRNA (ribonucleic acid)
