NCT00521001
RATIONALE: Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as temozolomide, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. Everolimus may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking blood flow to the tumor and by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Giving everolimus together with temozolomide may kill more tumor cells. PURPOSE: This phase II trial is studying how well giving everolimus together with temozolomide works in treating patients with stage IV melanoma that cannot be removed by surgery
NCT02477579
This study evaluates the safety and effectiveness of the a novel device called NovaCross to help cross Chronic Total Occlusion (CTO) lesions in coronary arteries.
NCT00045110
Phase I/II trial to study the effectiveness of erlotinib in treating patients who have recurrent malignant glioma or recurrent or progressive meningioma. Erlotinib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking the enzymes necessary for tumor cell growth.
NCT00282503
The purpose of this study is to compare the safety and efficacy of ECP treatment combined with high dose corticosteroids versus high dose corticosteroids alone, in the treatment of patients with newly diagnosed acute GvHD (Grades II to III) that developed within 100 days following an allo HPCT.
NCT00379756
This is a study consisting of four periods (screening, run-in, treatment, follow-up). A four-week treatment-free, run-in period where the subject will make at least four attempts at intercourse on four separate days with at least 50% of the attempts must be unsuccessful. During run-in the subjects will be using a stopwatch to measure the time from erection perceived hard enough for penetration until withdrawal from the partner's vagina. Next there are 12 weeks of treatment with either placebo or LEVITRA. Each subject will be required to visit the clinic on 5 occasions over a period of 4 months.
NCT00045942
CPKC412A2104 core had a 2 stage design. In stage 1, eight participants were treated. If at least one participant showed a clinical response, four more participants were recruited to stage 2. The trial was to be stopped if no participants showed a response in stage 1. POC was achieved if at least 2 participants out of 12 responded. In PKC412A2104E1, participants with AML or high risk MDS with wild-type or mutant FTL3 who had not previously received a FLT3 inhibitor were randomized to receive continuous twice daily oral doses of either 50 or 100 mg midostaurin in 1 28-day cycle regimen. Participants were to be treated until disease progression or the occurrence of unacceptable treatment-related toxicity. PKC412A2104 E2 contained 2 dosing regimens: 1) intra-participant midostaurin dose escalation and 2) midostaurin with itraconazole in participants with AML and high risk MDS irrespective of FLT3 status. Eligible participants were alternately assigned to the regimens. At the Investigator's discretion, intra-participant dose escalation was allowed for any previously enrolled CPKC412A2104E1 participant receiving midostaurin at the time of the approval of amendment 4. Participants were treated until the time of disease progression.
NCT00049946
A Placebo Controlled Study For Patients With Schizophrenia
NCT00112112
The main purpose of this study is to get information about the safety of a flu vaccine spray, called FluMist, in children with cancer. The study is also being done to find out how much and how long the vaccine spray can be found in the nose.
NCT00540722
This phase II trial is studying how well gossypol works in treating patients with progressive or recurrent glioblastoma multiforme. Gossypol may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth.
NCT01606579
PRI-724 is a new investigational drug being studied to treat subjects with cancer who have advanced myeloid malignancies. PRI-724 is thought to work by blocking the Wnt signaling pathway that cancer cells need to grow and spread (metastasize).
NCT01764477
Laboratory studies suggest that the study drug may stop cancer cells from growing by affecting an interaction between proteins in the cells referred to as cAMP-response element-binding protein and ß-catenin. The purpose of this research study is to determine the highest safe dose of study drug that may be used when it is given together with a chemotherapy drug to patients with cancer of the pancreas.
NCT00054613
The purpose of this study is to determine whether extracorporeal photoimmune therapy with UVADEX (ECP) added to standard therapy is effective in the treatment of chronic graft-versus-host disease (GvHD).
NCT01001299
This open-label single-arm study will evaluate the effect of RO5185426 \[RG7204; PLEXXIKON: PLX4032\] on the pharmacokinetics of five CYP450 substrates (caffeine, warfarin + vitamin K, omeprazole, dextromethorphan, midazolam) administered as a drug cocktail to patients with metastatic melanoma. The study will also evaluate efficacy and safety of RO5185426. On day 1, patients will receive the drug cocktail. On days 6 to 19, patients will receive RO5185426 twice daily. On day 20, patients will receive RO5185426 and the drug cocktail and on days 21 to 25, patients will receive RO5185426. Assessments will be made at regular intervals during the dosing periods and at follow-up. Patients may continue on study treatment (RO5185426) until the development of progressive disease or unacceptable toxicity. Target sample size \<50.

All patients will receive MabThera 1000 mg as an intravenous infusion on days 1 and 15. After the initial study phase of 24 weeks, eligible patients may receive one re-treatment with MabThera. The anticipated time on study treatment is 48 weeks.
NCT01500083
The purpose of the current study is to evaluate additional safety data of bendamustine in up to 100 patients with Indolent Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma (iNHL) relapsing from a rituximab regimen or Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL). Patients will receive up to 6 or 8 cycles of bendamustine treatment using the dosing regimens of TREANDA® (bendamustine) approved in several countries, which have been shown to be reasonably well tolerated. The study protocol includes safety monitoring (i.e., adverse events, concomitant medications, supportive care, clinical safety laboratory tests, and clinical disease status monitoring). It is an interventional, multicentre, prospective, open-label expanded access study, which in addition allows investigators in Canada, and their patients, access to bendamustine while it is pending Canadian marketing approval. Although the treatment options available for patients with iNHL or CLL do induce substantial responses, there is no curative treatment. One potential drug candidate for the treatment of CLL and iNHL is bendamustine. Bendamustine has been widely used in Germany for more than 30 years and is marketed in the United States for treatment of CLL and for treatment of iNHL that has progressed during or within 6 months of treatment with rituximab or a rituximab-containing regimen. In October 2010, the European Medicines Agency formally approved bendamustine in a number of Member States of the European Union for the treatment of patients with iNHL, CLL, and multiple myeloma. The drug's safety profile in these patient populations has been extensively characterized and no unexpected safety concerns are anticipated.
NCT02223247
This first in human phase 1 study of TVB-2640 is being conducted in patients with advanced stage solid malignant tumors. This research is being done to find out how safe and useful TVB-2640 is for patients who have received previous cancer therapy, and for whom no therapy exists that would be curative or might provide significant benefit. TVB-2640 belongs to a class of drugs called fatty acid synthase inhibitors (FASN inhibitors). This means that they interfere with the body's (and the tumor's) ability to use a substance called fatty acid synthase (FASN). Research has shown that some tumors appear to need FASN to keep growing.
NCT00099177
