NCT03930251
Cognitive remediation (CR) is an evidence-based behavioral skills intervention that targets the cognitive processes underlying functioning in everyday life. It can be used as part of early intervention to reduce cognitive deficits evident at the first episode of psychosis, and has the potential to impact recovery and quality of life. Across Coordinated Specialty Care (CSC) programs, about half of early psychosis participants do not achieve sustained vocational, educational, and/or social recovery; adding CR to CS programs could improve these outcomes. However, models of CR need to be adapted to meet the developmental needs of a younger population and to better fit the CSC model of service delivery. This study of CR implementation will be conducted within the context of OnTrackNY, a network of first-episode psychosis programs that currently offers basic cognitive health evaluation and supportive treatment but not CR. Intervention content will be designed and refined based on input from multiple stakeholders. The study will assess two delivery approaches to CR, one that delivers CR exclusively "in-clinic/clinician-led" and the other that is "partial-remote/independent" with one in-clinic/clinician-led session per week plus out-of-clinic independent cognitive practice. Nine OnTrackNY programs will be selected and OnTrackNY clinicians will be trained to conduct a cognitive assessment battery and CR. Three programs will be randomly assigned to provide treatment as usual (TAU) and six programs will be randomly assigned to provide both TAU and CR (either "in-clinic/clinician-led" or "partial-remote/independent"). Using de-identified data collected routinely by OnTrackNY for quality improvement/program evaluation, the investigators will examine whether the addition of CR improves functional outcomes for clients with first-episode psychosis, compare the effectiveness of CR delivery methods, and explore whether cognitive improvement is associated with improvement in functioning.
NCT07011771
The goal of this clinical trial is to learn about the safety of CAP-003 gene therapy in adults with GBA1 associated Parkinson's Disease. It will also provide information about whether CAP-003 demonstrates efficacy in these adults. Participants will have a single intravenous infusion of CAP-003 and visit the clinic regularly for 2 years for checkups and tests.
NCT05307328
This is a randomized, placebo-controlled, study of SPI-62 in subjects with ACTH-dependent Cushing's syndrome caused by a non-adrenal tumor. Subjects will receive each of the following 2 treatments for 24 weeks: SPI-62 and matching placebo with the option of long-term extension.
NCT04459715
The primary objective of the study was to demonstrate superior efficacy of Xevinapant (Debio 1143) vs placebo when added to chemoradiotherapy (CRT) in locally advanced squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck (LA-SCCHN).
NCT04058756
The purpose of this study is to continue to assess safety and tolerability, and to allow continued access to study treatment for subjects already receiving spartalizumab as single agent or in combination with other study treatments.
NCT02400190
This study will collect rates of local/regional recurrence in select patients who do not receive radiation treatment after lumpectomy surgery. These women must be postmenopausal; have hormone receptor-positive, Her2-negative tumors; have Oncotype-DX RS less than or equal to 18; and plan to receive endocrine therapy. In this way, this study seeks to collect prospective data supporting the idea that this is a population at sufficiently low risk of local/regional recurrence that omission of adjuvant radiation might be a reasonable option.
NCT03776812
This is a Phase 2, open-label, randomized, 3-arm study to evaluate progression-free survival (PFS) in patients with recurrent platinum-resistant ovarian, fallopian tube, or primary peritoneal cancer treated with intermittent or continuous regimens of relacorilant in combination with nab-paclitaxel compared with patients treated with nab-paclitaxel alone.
NCT05592938
Breast-conserving surgery followed by re-irradiation with partial breast irradiation (rPBI) has recently been found to be a safe alternative to mastectomy for women who have undergone prior whole breast radiation. By reducing the volume of tissue receiving radiation, rPBI has been associated with less toxicity and improved cosmetic outcomes. For many women with early-stage breast cancer, shorter 1-week (5-fraction) courses of breast radiation (ultra-fractionation) have been found to be equivalent to longer fractionation schedules in the upfront treatment setting. These 1-week schedules are more convenient for patients, with fewer treatments and shorter overall treatment time. The investigators hypothesize that a 1-week ultra-hypofractionated rPBI regimen following breast-conserving surgery (BCS) for local recurrence or new primary breast cancer in the previously irradiated breast (LR) will be associated with acceptable toxicity at 1 year (\<13% grade \>3 toxicity).
NCT05563051
Prospective, multi-center, non-randomized registry / study, up to 164 patients enrolled and followed at 180 days +/- 45 days and again at 365 days +/- 90 days post procedure
NCT04138394
This study aims to show that giving high dose, intravenous vitamin C in addition to standard care to burned critically ill patients will be associated with less organ dysfunction, improved survival and a quicker rate of recovery. In this study, all patients will receive standard care and of the patients will also receive high dose intravenous vitamin C, while the other half of patients will receive placebo.
NCT01193075
This is an observational longitudinal study to determine the natural history and genotype-phenotype correlations of disease causing mutations in Charcot Marie Tooth disease (CMT) type 1B (CMT1B), 2A (CMT2A), 4A (CMT4A), and 4C (CMT4C). The investigators will also be determine the capability of the newly developed CMT Pediatric Scale (CMT Peds scale) and the Minimal Dataset to measure impairment and perform longitudinal measurements in patients with multiple forms of CMT over a five year window
NCT01193088
This project includes two projects. One is looking for new genes that cause Charcot Marie Tooth disease (CMT). The other is looking for genes that do not cause CMT, but may modify the symptoms a person has.
NCT04189445
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of futibatinib in patients with FGFR aberrations in 3 distinct cohorts. Patients will be enrolled into one of 3 cohorts: patients with advanced, metastatic or locally-advanced solid tumors harboring FGFR1-4 rearrangements (excluding primary brain tumors and intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma \[iCCA\]); patients with gastric or gastro-esophageal junction (GEJ) cancer harboring FGFR2 amplification; and patients with myeloid or lymphoid neoplasms with FGFR1 rearrangements.
NCT05461573
