NCT04040985
This study will look at the health results of using the LEGION™ Primary Knee System over a period of ten (10) years. This type of surgery uses an artificial knee made of plastic and metal. This study will enter subjects who suffer from a variety of conditions that have caused at least one of their knees to become nonfunctional. You are being asked to participate in the study because you have significant problems with your knee(s) and your study surgeon has determined that your knee(s) must be surgically replaced to improve your condition. If you decided to participate in this study, you will be one of approximately one hundred thirty-eight (138) subjects in the study.
NCT03189719
The purpose of this trial is to evaluate efficacy and safety of pembrolizumab plus standard of care (SOC) chemotherapy with cisplatin and 5-fluorouracil (5-FU) versus placebo plus SOC chemotherapy with cisplatin and 5-FU as first-line treatment in participants with locally advanced or metastatic esophageal carcinoma. The overall primary efficacy hypotheses are as follows: 1. In participants with esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC), participants whose tumors are programmed cell death-ligand 1 (PD-L1)-positive (defined as combined positive score \[CPS\] ≥10), ESCC participants whose tumors are PD-L1 positive (CPS ≥10), and in all participants, overall survival (OS) is superior with pembrolizumab plus SOC chemotherapy compared with placebo plus SOC chemotherapy. 2. In participants with ESCC, participants whose tumors are PD-L1 positive (CPS ≥10), and in all participants, progression-free survival (PFS) according to Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors (RECIST) 1.1 as assessed by investigator is superior with pembrolizumab plus SOC chemotherapy compared with placebo plus SOC chemotherapy.
NCT03274466
This study evaluates surgical site complications in subjects undergoing revision of a total knee arthroplasty when closed incision negative pressure therapy is used to manage the closed incision, as compared to a standard of care dressing.
NCT05826665
STAR Apollo Mapping System is an FDA cleared mapping technology that can analyze the signals collected during the ablation procedure on the 3D mapping system and give the physician further insight into the AF activation patterns which may assist them in identifying areas responsible for maintaining Atrial Fibrillation (AF). The STAR Apollo Mapping System system allows clinicians, after treating the Pulmonary Veins (PV), to collect data from the atria during clinical AF procedures using standard FDA cleared catheters and devices. This study aims to examine the impact of the STAR Apollo Mapping System on procedural and acute outcomes in a multicenter observational study.

NCT02096354
This two-stage study is designed to compare the safety and activity between RRx-001 against regorafenib followed by irinotecan-based therapies in a parallel comparative study. Patients who are suffering from advanced or metastatic (meaning the disease has spread) colorectal cancer are invited to participate in this study. There will be two groups of patients (Randomized, open label study), one of these will receive RRx-001 and the other one will receive regorafenib. If patients qualify to participate in this study, they will be randomly assigned to the 'interventional arm' where patients will receive the experimental drug, RRx-001, or the 'control arm' where they will receive the current standard-of-care, Regorafenib. Patients have a 66% chance (2 out of 3) of receiving RRx-001 and a 33 % chance (1 out of 3) of receiving regorafenib. On progression in the first part of the study, provided ECOG performance status is adequate, and if clinically appropriate i.e. there are no absolute or relative contraindications in the opinion of the Investigator, all subjects will enter the second part of the study and receive irinotecan plus bevacizumab. Whether patients are given RRx-001 or regorafenib, they will also receive best supportive care, which includes treatments to help manage side effects and symptoms of cancer. This is an open label study, which means patients will know to which of these treatments, RRx-001 or regorafenib, they are assigned.
NCT04621877
In response to large numbers of senior center clients who suffer untreated depression and the dearth of geriatric mental health providers, the investigators have simplified Behavioral Activation to be delivered by lay volunteers ("Do More, Feel Better"; DMFB). The focus of Behavioral Activation is to guide clients to reengage in daily pleasant and rewarding activities, and reduce depressive symptoms. If the investigators can show that the lay delivery model has positive impact in comparison to MSW-delivered Behavioral Activation, the investigators will have identified an effective intervention that can be used by a large untapped workforce of older adult volunteers across the nation.
