This phase II trial studies how well inolitazone dihydrochloride (efatutazone dihydrochloride) and paclitaxel work in treating patients with anaplastic thyroid cancer that has spread to other places in the body and usually cannot be cured or controlled with treatment (advanced). Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as efatutazone dihydrochloride and paclitaxel, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading.

This phase II Pediatric MATCH trial studies how well vemurafenib works in treating patients with solid tumors, non-Hodgkin lymphoma, or histiocytic disorders with BRAF V600 mutations that have spread to other places in the body (advanced) and have come back (recurrent) or do not respond to treatment (refractory). Vemurafenib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth.

Spasticity is a common complication of stroke affecting quality of life. Spasticity involves exaggerated stretch reflexes that create stiffness in muscles with associated loss of motion and functional control. Traditional treatments involve range of motion, medications, and sometimes surgery. Each of these has its own limitations, which has invited exploration of alternative modes of treatment. One such treatment with the potential to benefit spasticity is repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS). The purpose of this study is to determine whether patients with upper limb spasticity as a consequence of a chronic stroke can benefit from stimulation of the non-affected hemisphere of the brain with low-frequency (inhibitory) repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS), potentially leading to a reduction of spasticity and clinical improvement in upper limb function.

This prospective, non-interventional, single arm, longitudinal cohort multicenter study will recruit approximately 5600 consecutive all-comers, consisting of patients with signs and symptoms of acute coronary syndromes (ACS) who present in the emergency department (ED). The main objective of the study is to determine the clinical performance of Elecsys Troponin T hs Gen 6 versus the centrally adjudicated clinical diagnosis at various time points after ED presentation using the previously determined clinical cut-off of a universal 99th percentile upper reference limit.

This is a phase IV, prospective, open label, randomized-controlled study that will compare radial access with state-of-the-art femoral access in patients without ST-segment elevation acute myocardial infarction undergoing cardiac catheterization. Subjects will be randomized 1:1 into 2 treatment groups: radial access and state-of-the-art femoral access. Randomization will be performed in blocks of 50 per site. Similarly, a second sub-randomization will be performed in the femoral access group into use of 18 vs 21 gauge needles, also in a 1:1 fashion.

This is a multi-center prospective observational study that will capture detailed information about the treatment and long term outcomes of 250 patients with PNI resulting from upper extremity trauma. The study will focus on a young adult population to include individuals ages 18-65. Patients with PNI will be recruited during the hospitalization for initial treatment of the upper extremity injury. Additional patients may be identified during clinic visits for on-going treatment of upper extremity injuries as nerve injuries evolve or upon referral from outside physicians. However, all eligible nerve injuries must be treated within 6 months of the initial upper extremity trauma. Outcomes will be assessed at 3, 6, 12, 18 and 24 months following diagnosis of the nerve injury. All assessments will take place in the clinic and will include a patient interview and a brief exam to evaluate sensory and motor function.

The overarching goal of the Master Protocol is to find effective strategies for inpatient management of patients with COVID-19. Therapeutic goals for patients hospitalized for COVID-19 include hastening recovery and preventing progression to critical illness, multiorgan failure, or death. B-cell Lymphoma is an aggressive and rare cancer of a type of immune cells (a white blood cell responsible for fighting infections). The purpose of this study is to assess the change in disease activity of epcoritamab when combined with intravenous and oral rituximab, cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin hydrochloride, vincristine, and prednisone (R-CHOP) or R-CHOP in adult participants globally with diffuse large b-cell lymphoma (DLBCL). Change in disease activity will be assessed. Epcoritamab is an investigational drug being developed for the treatment of DLBCL. Study doctors put the participants in groups called treatment arms. Participants will receive epcoritamab combined with R-CHOP, followed by epcoritamab or R-CHOP followed by rituximab will be explored. Approximately 900 adult participants with with newly diagnosed DLBCL will be enrolled in the study in approximately 315 sites in globally. In the Arm 1, participants will receive subcutaneous epcoritamab combined with intravenous and oral R-CHOP followed by subcutaneous epcoritamab in 21-day cycles. In the Arm 2, participants will receive intravenous and oral R-CHOP followed by intravenous rituximab in 21-day cycles. There may be higher treatment burden for participants in this trial compared to their standard of care. Participants will attend regular visits during the study at an approved institution (hospital or clinic). The effect of the treatment will be frequently checked by medical assessments, blood tests, questionnaires and side effects.

The purpose of this EAP is to provide continued access to LP352, an investigational drug product being investigated in participants with DEEs. Patients with a hearing loss and that are already planned for treatment with a percutaneous (through the skin) bone-anchored hearing system (BAHS) will be included in the study. The total number of participants included in the study will be 64. The purpose of this study is to investigate the rate of successful BAHS use after implantation of the Ponto Implant system using the surgical technique Minimally Invasive Ponto Surgery (MIPS).
