NCT05401565
This study will evaluate the efficacy and safety of 10 mg of oral administration balovaptan once a day (QD) compared with matching placebo in adults with PTSD.
NCT04203797
The primary objective of the study is to demonstrate that dupilumab treatment improves exercise capacity in patients with moderate-to-severe asthma. The secondary objectives of the study are: * To demonstrate that dupilumab treatment increases physical activity of daily living in patients with moderate-to-severe asthma * To demonstrate that dupilumab treatment improves pre- and post-exercise lung function in patients with moderate-to-severe asthma
NCT05489328
The purpose of the study is to describe the safety and immunogenicity of Pneumococcal Conjugate Formulations in healthy adults 18 through 49 years of age.
NCT00942968
The purpose of this study is to determine the long term tolerability and safety of dalteparin in subjects with cancer.
NCT03448692
The purpose of this Phase 2 adaptive study is to evaluate the efficacy, safety, tolerability and pharmacokinetics of PF-06730512 following multiple intravenous infusions in adult subjects with FSGS.
NCT04646057
This study compares outcomes of prospective mesh-based breast reconstructions to historical control breast reconstructions with no mesh.
NCT01621490
The purpose of this study is to evaluate pharmacodynamic changes of Nivolumab and Nivolumab in combination with Ipilimumab treatment on the biomarkers measured in the peripheral blood and tumor tissues of subjects with advanced melanoma (unresectable or advanced)
NCT02224677
This study is a multi-center, longitudinal cohort study of 125 infants with craniofacial microsomia (CFM) and 100 infants without craniofacial anomalies. Participants will undergo a series of evaluations between 0-3 years of age to comprehensively evaluate the developmental status of infants and toddlers with CFM. This research design will also explore specific pathways by which CFM may lead to certain outcomes. Specifically, the study explores (1) the longitudinal relations between facial asymmetry and emotion-related facial movements and socialization; and (2) associations among ear malformations, hearing and speech deficits and cognitive outcomes. Results of this research will ultimately lead to future investigations that assess new interventions and corresponding changes in current standards of care for children with CFM.
NCT04819776
The aim of this study is to investigate the efficacy, safety, and tolerability of iloperidone compared with placebo in treating acute manic or mixed episodes associated with Bipolar I Disorder.
NCT05159531
Gay, bisexual and other men who have sex with men (GBM) account for over half of new HIV infections in Canada each year, and have a 131-fold higher risk of HIV than other Canadian men. HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) using regular oral tenofovir disoproxil fumarate/emtricitabine (TDF/FTC) or tenofovir alafenamide/emtricitabine (TAF/FTC) is an effective and safe HIV prevention option. Despite growing interest, awareness and willingness to use PrEP there has been numerous challenges to the broader rollout of PrEP. This study will address some of these challenges by assessing participant satisfaction, feasibility and clinical outcomes associated with a web-based mobile health (mHealth) model of care for daily oral TAF/FTC PrEP compared to standard of care delivery of TAF/FTC PrEP in Canadian GBM/TGW, in the era of COVID-19. The ultimate goal of this study is to provide a scalable model for remote PrEP delivery that minimizes the need for in-person interactions; respects guideline recommendations regarding how to optimally monitor patients; and is attractive to both patients and providers. This study is a 1:1 open-label, pragmatic randomized controlled trial using a AB:BA crossover design, comparing the standard of care to an mHealth based model of care (Freddie® ) for TAF/FTC PrEP delivery over 72 weeks.
NCT04349280
The purpose of this study is to evaluate bintrafusp alfa in participants with metastatic or locally advanced urothelial cancer. This trial provides the first evaluation of bintrafusp alfa in participants with urothelial cancer that has progressed following platinum therapy.
NCT04541108
This is a multi-center, open-label Phase 0 Master Protocol designed to study the localized pharmacodynamics (PD) of anti-cancer therapies within the tumor microenvironment (TME) when administered intratumorally in microdose quantities via the CIVO device in patients with surface accessible solid tumors for which there is a scheduled surgical intervention. CIVO stands for Comparative In Vivo Oncology. Multiple substudies will include specified investigational agents and combinations to be evaluated.
NCT04729621
The purpose of this study is to demonstrate similar efficacy and safety between TVB-009 and Prolia® (denosumab)
NCT04681118
Expanded Access for treatment with investigational product MSC-NTF cells(NurOwn®) for participants who completed all scheduled treatments and follow-up assessments in the BCT-002-US study
NCT05917912
The goal of this two-center, randomized, double-blinded, parallel-group, placebo-controlled clinical study is designed to compare the efficacy of twice daily applications of ATX01 versus placebo during two consecutive 3-week treatment periods. The primary objective is the comparison between Treatments (ATX01 15% vs. Placebo) of mean pain attack intensity score assessed for the final week of each treatment period using an 11-point Numerical Pain Rating Scale (NPRS). Mean pain attack intensity is defined as the sum of the pain intensity score of each pain attack during the last 7 full days (Day 14 to Day 20) of each Treatment Period divided by the total number of erythromelalgia pain attacks during that 7-day period. Participants will apply on feet and/or hands twice a day in the morning and in the evening, approximately 12 hours apart from the morning administration for 3 consecutive weeks each and record the pain intensity of each attack that occurs.
NCT04351893
The CAUSE study is a multicenter study, with domestic (n=4) and international (n=6) study sites. Children and young adults (ages 0-18) who have microtia and/or craniofacial microsomia and their parents are invited to participate. Children and parents are asked to provide a DNA sample (blood or saliva) and are asked to upload a few photos of their face. Parents are asked a short interview. Participants are able to participate from home or at one of four domestic sites.
