NCT02425111
The purpose of this study is to evaluate endoscopic remission at Week 26 as assessed by ileocolonoscopy.
NCT01773746
The most appropriate initial oxygen concentration for the resuscitation of the extremely low birth weight infant has not been established using large well designed, randomized, blinded, prospective trials and the level of oxygen utilized by practitioners in this situation is highly variable. This proposed trial will use targeted oxygen saturation levels over the first 15 to 20 minutes of life to compare a low and a higher initial oxygen level for the resuscitation of such infants, and will be large enough to evaluate short term outcomes of survival without oxygen at 36 weeks and survival without retinopathy of prematurity, and the long term outcome of survival without significant neurodevelopmental impairment at 2 years of age. Such information is urgently required to provide an evidence basis for the initial oxygen concentration for resuscitation of these very preterm infants.
NCT01949324
This study is a phase 2, randomized, multi-center, single-masked study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of the NT-501 implants in participants with Mactel.
NCT01589042
To collect data from real-world use with the Chocolate PTA Balloon Catheter to support the effectiveness of the device for use during percutaneous transluminal angioplasty (PTA) procedures.
NCT01579695
The purpose of this observational, 10-year, prospective cohort study is to assess the potential safety concerns of long-term exposure to EGRIFTA® in HIV-infected subjects with abdominal lipohypertrophy compared with a similar group of subjects not exposed to EGRIFTA®.
NCT01473407
The purpose of this study is to demonstrate therapeutic equivalence of IV Epoetin Hospira compared to IV Epogen (Amgen), based on maintenance of Hb levels and study drug dose requirements in patients treated for anemia associated with chronic renal failure and on hemodialysis.
NCT00085098
RATIONALE: Radiation therapy uses high-energy x-rays to damage tumor cells. Drugs used in chemotherapy work in different ways to stop tumor cells from dividing so they stop growing or die. It is not yet known whether radiation therapy alone is as effective as chemotherapy plus radiation therapy in treating germ cell tumor. PURPOSE: This randomized phase III trial is studying radiation therapy alone to see how well it works compared to chemotherapy and radiation therapy in treating patients with newly diagnosed primary CNS germ cell tumor.
NCT03250156
This project aims to evaluate the effectiveness of mindfulness training (MT) on cognitive and psychological factors when incorporated to the duty-day schedule of servicemembers (via proctored mindfulness practice). Based on prior literature, it can be hypothesized that the benefits of MT on measures of attention, working memory, and psychological well-being will be greater for servicemembers who engage in proctored mindfulness practice and receive duty-day support compared to servicemembers who practice independently, on their own time, with no structured duty day support.
NCT03310112
This project aims to contextualize delivery of mindfulness training to U.S. Army personnel, evaluate its effectiveness on measures of executive functions and psychological well-being, and determine best practices for its delivery.
NCT00433381
This randomized phase II trial is studying the side effects and how well giving bevacizumab together with irinotecan or temozolomide works in treating patients with recurrent or refractory glioblastoma multiforme or gliosarcoma. Monoclonal antibodies, such as bevacizumab, can block tumor growth in different ways. Some block the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Others find tumor cells and help kill them or carry tumor-killing substances to them. Bevacizumab may also stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking blood flow to the tumor. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as irinotecan and temozolomide, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. Giving bevacizumab together with irinotecan or temozolomide may kill more tumor cells.
NCT00687102
The purpose of this study is to assess the effects of tamoxifen and raloxifene on cognitive aging in selected cognitively-healthy women.
NCT02415595
The purpose of this study is to find at least one dose of BMS-955176 that will be safe, effective and tolerable for HIV-1 infected treatment naive adults.
NCT02262338
AGT-182 is a fusion protein containing idursulfase that is intended to deliver the enzyme peripherally and to the brain, when administered intravenously. This study is a safety and dose ranging study to obtain safety and exposure data, as well as information on the biological activity of the investigational drug.
NCT00281632
This study was designed to find out how effective and safe GW786034, is in the treatment of epithelial ovarian, fallopian tube, or primary peritoneal cancer that has not responded to standard treatment.
NCT02043015
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the acceptability and uptake of a combination package of biomedical, behavioral and community-level HIV prevention interventions and services for men who have sex with men (MSM) in South Africa.
NCT01923168
The purpose of the study was to determine whether treatment with a PI3K inhibitor plus letrozole led to an increase in pathologic clinical response and Objective Response Rate compared to treatment with placebo plus letrozole in patients with Breast cancer.
NCT02161562
This trial assessed the efficacy of optimized re-treatment therapy with omalizumab (150mg or 300mg) after relapse, in participants with Chronic Spontaneous Urticaria who were clinically well-controlled following their first course of treatment with omalizumab (150mg or 300mg). The study also assessed the benefit of uptitrating to 300mg dose in participants who were not well-controlled following their initial course of treatment with omalizumab 150mg, as well as the benefit of treatment extension of those patients who were not well-controlled following their initial course of treatment with omalizumab 300mg.
NCT02293408
The objectives of this study are to describe the clinical and biochemical characteristics and course of disease progression in participants with Mucopolysaccharidosis type IIIB (MPS IIIB)
NCT00652470
The purpose of this study is to study whether infants with triventricular hydrocephalus (TVH) have a better long-term outcome at 5 years when they are treated with a new procedure, endoscopic third ventriculostomy (ETV), than infants treated with the more traditional treatment, insertion of a cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) shunt.
NCT00683306
The purpose of this study is to provide gefitinib treatment to patients who, on completion or closure of other gefitinib clinical studies, were either receiving placebo treatment, or are continuing on the same dose and regimen of gefitinib established in their preceding study, for as long as the patients continue to derive benefit.
