NCT05093504
Prospective, Multicenter, Double-blind, Randomized, Study to Evaluate DrugSorb-ATR Removal of Apixaban and Rivaroxaban to Reduce Likelihood of Serious Bleeding in Patients Undergoing Urgent Cardiothoracic Surgery
NCT04013685
This study will evaluate the safety, tolerability, and efficacy of Orca-T, an allogeneic stem cell and T-cell immunotherapy biologic manufactured for each patient (transplant recipient) from the mobilized peripheral blood of a specific, unique donor. It is composed of purified hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells (HSPCs), purified regulatory T cells (Tregs), and conventional T cells (Tcons) in participants undergoing myeloablative allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplant transplantation for hematologic malignancies.
NCT03932032
This two-site study is a test of Attention Bias Modification Treatment (ABMT) among 260 youths ages 10 to 14 years with social anxiety disorder. One-half of participants will receive 8 sessions of computer administered ABMT and the other half of participants will receive 8 sessions of computer administered Neutral Control Task (NCT). The investigators hypothesize that a biomarker of attention to social threat measured using electroencephalography (EEG) and ratings of social anxiety severity will be lower in participants who receive ABMT compared to participants who receive NCT.
NCT00447980
The purpose of this study is to look at the safety and effectiveness of CNTF implants on vision in persons with retinitis pigmentosa, Usher type II \& III, and Choroideremia. This research is being done because there are no effective therapies for people with these retinal degenerations. They are genetic disorders that affect one's ability to see at night, and later cause tunnel vision and loss of central vision. Retinal degenerations affect the retina, a light sensitive layer of cells in the back of the eye. Slowly over time, these cells die and cause permanent loss of vision. The implant is a small capsule that contains human retinal pigment epithelium cells. These cells have been given the ability to make CNTF and release it through the capsule membrane into the surrounding fluid. In this study, two different CNTF dose levels will be used: a high dose and a low dose in one eye, as well as a sham (or placebo) surgery in the other eye.
NCT03796793
The goal of this project is to use genomic profiling, candidate genes and proteins to develop guided surgical debridement to improve healing in chronic non-healing venous leg ulcers (VLUs) and to test the efficacy of this approach.
NCT06455475
This randomized controlled study evaluates the adjuvant use of Derm-Maxx in patients with diabetic foot ulcers
NCT03517722
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of ustekinumab in participants with active systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) who have not adequately responded to one or more standard of care treatments.
NCT06942572
This Phase 1/2 study will evaluate the safety, tolerability, and preliminary efficacy of subretinal SB-007 administration to determine dose selection in subjects with Stargardt's Type 1 (STGD1). This is a multicenter study which will enroll approximately 57 subjects, followed up over a 96 week period post treatment after a single administration of SB-007.
NCT03227224
The purpose of this study is to assess the dose-response relationship of 2 doses of JNJ-42847922 before interim analysis, and potentially 3 doses based on interim analysis results, compared to placebo as adjunctive therapy to an antidepressant drug in improving depressive symptoms in participants with Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) who have had an inadequate response to current antidepressant therapy with a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) or serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SNRI); and to assess the safety and tolerability of JNJ-42847922 compared to placebo as adjunctive therapy to an antidepressant in participants with MDD.
NCT05644977
The primary purpose of the study is to evaluate the safety and tolerability of emraclidine administered orally to healthy elderly participants in Part A (multiple ascending doses) and participants with dementia due to Alzheimer's disease (AD) in Part B.
NCT06952634
This a phase 1, open label, single dose, parallel cohort study to determine the pharmacokinetics (PK) of study drug (ESK-001) in healthy volunteer participants, and participants with mild, moderate, and severe hepatic impairment.
NCT02076009
The purpose of this study is to compare the effectiveness of daratumumab when combined with lenalidomide and dexamethasone (DRd) to that of lenalidomide and dexamethasone (Rd), in terms of progression-free survival in participants with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma.
NCT05067972
A study to evaluate the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics (PK), pharmacodynamics (PD), and antitumor activity of PF-07260437, a B7-H4 x CD3 bispecific mAb, in participants aged ≥18 years of age with advanced or metastatic breast cancer, ovarian cancer or endometrial cancer. Adult participants with other advanced or metastatic high B7-H4 expressing tumors may be considered after discussion with and approval from sponsor.
NCT05259917
This study is a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, phase III, three-way crossover clinical trial evaluating the efficacy and safety of KVD900, in the treatment of hereditary angioedema attacks in adolescent and adult Patients
NCT03039192
The purpose of the study is to evaluate the efficacy of intranasal esketamine 84 milligram (mg) compared with intranasal placebo in addition to comprehensive standard of care in reducing the symptoms of Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), including suicidal ideation, in participants who are assessed to be at imminent risk for suicide, as measured by the change from baseline on the Montgomery-Asberg Depression Rating Scale (MADRS) total score at 24 hours post first dose.
NCT04129164
The purpose of the study is to evaluate the efficacy, safety, and tolerability of VIB4920 (formerly MEDI4920) in adult participants with Sjögren's Syndrome (SS).
NCT02040714
Legg-Calvé-Perthes disease is a childhood hip disorder which is common enough to be a significant public health problem (affects 1 in 740 boys between ages 0-14), but uncommon enough to have a sufficient number of patients from a single institution to perform a definitive prospective study comparing the results of current treatments. The present study will establish a database of prospectively identified patients with Legg-Calvé-Perthes (LCP) Disease and collect information regarding their presentation, treatment, and outcomes in the course of receiving currently available treatments. This study seeks to compare the outcomes of current treatments in the management of different age groups (ages 1-6, 6-8, 8-11, \>11) of patients with Perthes disease at two- and five-year followup and at skeletal maturity. For each age group, two to three common treatment regimens currently used by practicing pediatric orthopaedic surgeons will be compared. The intervention a patient receives is determined through physician treatment expertise, and is not pre-determined by the study.
