The main purpose of this study is to compare empasiprubart and IVIg for treating people with CIDP. This study consists of a Part A where participants will either receive empasiprubart and a placebo resembling IVIg, or IVIg and a placebo resembling empasiprubart for 24 weeks (6 months). Following Part A, participants will enter Part B in which all participants will receive empasiprubart for 96 weeks (24 months). This study will use magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and ultrasound images to study how muscles, tendons, and bones work together to cause motion. The procedure is one of several tools being developed to characterize normal and impaired musculoskeletal function, with the goal of developing improved methods of diagnosis and treatment of movement disorders. Healthy normal volunteers must be age 5 to unlimited, with or without joint impairment, may be eligible for this study. Volunteers with joint impairment may not have serious injury to the joint being studied, previous surgery on the joint being studied, or extreme pain at the joint being studied. MRI uses a strong magnet and radio waves to create images of the inside of the body. The subject lies on a long narrow couch inside a metal cylinder (the scanner) for up to 3 hours while the scanner gathers data. Earplugs are worn to muffle loud noises caused by electrical switching of radiofrequency circuits used in the scanning process. A special pad or tube may be placed over or around the region being scanned to improve the quality of the data. The subject will be asked to repeatedly move a specific joint, such as the knee, for brief periods, usually less than 5 minutes. The subject can communicate via intercom with the person performing the study at all times during the procedure, and may request to stop the study at any time.

This study will explore the causes and eye problems of X-linked juvenile retinoschisis (XLRS), an inherited disease that causes vision loss primarily in young males. The vision loss, which worsens over time, is a result of schisis, or splitting, of the layers of the retina (tissue that lines the back of the eye). A better understanding of why and how XLRS develops might lead to improved treatments. Patients 9 months of age and older with XLRS and females who are suspected carriers of the gene responsible for the disease (such as the mother of the patient) may be eligible for this study. Other family members of patients also may be enrolled. Patients will undergo the following tests and procedures: * Personal and family medical history to review past and current medical conditions and treatments, particularly regarding eye disease, and to construct a family tree. * Eye examination to assess visual acuity (eye chart test) and examine pupils, lens, retina, and eye movements. The pupils will be dilated with drops for this examination. * Photography of the retina to help evaluate the status of the retina. * Specialized eye tests to evaluate color vision, field of vision, and ability to see in the dark. * Electroretinogram (ERG) to examine what happens to the eyes after a flash of bright light. For this test, the patient sits in a dark room for 30 minutes with his or her eyes patched. Then, a small silver disk electrode is taped to the forehead, the eye patches are removed, the surface of the eye is numbed with eye drops and contact lenses are placed on the eyes. The patient looks inside a large empty bowl and then a light flashes, first in the dark and then with a light turned on inside the bowl. The contact lenses sense small electrical signals generated by the retina when the light flashes. * Blood test to examine DNA for genetic study of XLRS. Family members will provide a blood sample for genetic study.

The etiology of pulmonary fibrosis is unknown. Analyses of blood, genomic DNA, and specimens procured by bronchoscopy, lung biopsy, lung transplantation, clinically-indicated extra-pulmonary biopsies, or post-mortem examination from individuals with this disorder may contribute to our understanding of the pathogenic mechanisms of pulmonary fibrosis. The purpose of this protocol is to procure and analyze blood, genomic DNA, and specimens by bronchoscopy, lung biopsy, lung transplantation, extra-pulmonary biopsies, or post-mortem examination from subjects with pulmonary fibrosis. In addition, blood, genomic DNA, clinically-indicated extra-pulmonary biopsies, as well as bronchoscopy and post-mortem examination specimens may be procured and analyzed from relatives of subjects with hereditary forms of pulmonary fibrosis; blood, genomic DNA, and bronchoscopy specimens may be procured from healthy research volunteers....

Primary immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) is a condition where the immune system mistakenly destroys platelets, which are cells that help stop bleeding. This leads to a low number of platelets, making it easier to bruise or bleed. The main aim of this study is to learn whether mezagitamab, when given just under the skin (subcutaneously \[SC\]), is effective in keeping the platelet count of adults with ITP stable when compared to a placebo. A placebo looks like medicine but doesn't have any active ingredients in it. The participants will be treated with mezagitamab for up to 6 months. During the study, participants will visit their study clinic several times. Participants who complete the TAK-079-3002 study or do not have any response to study treatment by week 16 (according to study criteria) will be given the opportunity to participate in a continuation study to receive open label mezagitamab (if they are eligible and the site is able to open the continuation study).

Multicenter, randomized (2:1), open-label phase 3 study in HLA-A2 positive patients with squamous and non-squamous metastatic NSCLC with ICI secondary resistance. Patients will be randomized into 2 arms (randomization 2:1): experimental Arm A with OSE2101 monotherapy or control Arm B SoC with docetaxel monotherapy. Stratification factors will be histology (squamous versus non squamous) and ECOG Performance Status (0 versus 1).

The PERFORMANCE III study is a prospective, multicenter single-arm, open label study to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of the Neuroguard IEP® Direct System for the treatment of carotid artery stenosis in subjects at elevated risk for carotid endarterectomy (CEA). Eligible patients greater than or equal to 20 years of age and less than or equal to 82 years of age, are those who have been diagnosed with either de-novo atherosclerotic or post CEA restenotic lesion(s) in the internal carotid arteries (ICA) or at the carotid bifurcation with greater than or equal to 50% stenosis if symptomatic or greater than or equal to 70% stenosis if asymptomatic.

The metabolism of the heart provides the chemical energy needed to fuel ongoing normal heart contraction. Magnetic resonance spectroscopy is a technique used in a MRI scanner that can be used to measure and study heart metabolism directly but without blood sampling or obtaining tissue biopsies. One of the hypotheses this study aims to investigate is whether energy metabolism is reduced in heart failure and whether that contributes to the poor heart function.

This study will be divided into 2 parts (Part 1 and Part 2). Part 1 will evaluate 2 doses of tagraxofusp (9 and 12 micrograms/kilogram/day \[μg/kg/day\]), used in combination with venetoclax and azacitidine, to determine the dose for Part 2. This determined dose, in combination with venetoclax and azacitidine, will then be further evaluated in Part 2 in 2 cohorts (TP53 mutated and TP53 wild type). Both parts will be conducted in participants with previously untreated CD123+ AML who are ineligible for intensive chemotherapy.

This study consists of two parts: Part A Surveillance and Part B Transmission. The main purpose of Part A is to evaluate the prevalence of pre-dose and treatment-emergent amino acid substitutions in pediatric participants' susceptibility \<12 years with influenza treated with baloxavir marboxil. Part B will include a subset of Part A participants who have household contacts (HHCs) recruited to the study. Part B will evaluate the incidence of onward influenza transmission from pediatric index participants (IPs) under 5 years of age and those aged 5 to under 12 years, treated with baloxavir marboxil, to their HHCs.

The proposed study is a phase II, single arm, open-label trial of MR-guided radiation therapy (RT) with risk stratified RT dose selection in patients with anal cancer. Based on previous data, a risk adaptive treatment approached is proposed in 4 groups: Low risk, standard risk, intermediate risk, and high risk. Human papillomavirus (HPV) DNA will be analyzed to identify novel biomarkers that predict chemoradiotherapy (CRT) response and toxicity.

This study is researching an experimental drug called linvoseltamab, also called REGN5458. Linvoseltamab has previously been studied by itself (without other cancer drugs) in participants who had advanced multiple myeloma that returned and needed to be treated again after many other therapies had failed. These participants were no longer benefiting from standard medications and had no good treatment options. In that study, some participants who were treated with linvoseltamab had improvement of their myeloma (shrinkage of their tumors), including some participants who had complete responses (that is, the treatment got rid of all evidence of myeloma in their bodies). This study is focused on participants who have multiple myeloma that has returned or needs to be treated again after one to four prior treatments and have standard cancer treatment options available to them. The aim of this study is to see how safe and effective linvoseltamab is compared to a combination of three cancer drugs: elotuzumab, pomalidomide and dexamethasone, (called EPd) in participants who have returned after having received prior treatment that included lenalidomide, a proteosome inhibitor, and (for participants in some countries) a cluster of differentiation 38 (CD38) antibody. Half of the participants in this study will get linvoseltamab, and the other half will get EPd. This study is looking at several other research questions, including: * How long participants benefit from receiving linvoseltamab compared with EPd * How many participants treated with linvoseltamab or EPd have improvement of their multiple myeloma and by how much * What side effects happen from taking linvoseltamab compared to EPd * How long participants live while receiving treatment or after treatment with linvoseltamab compared to EPd * If there is any improvement in pain after treatment with linvoseltamab compared to EPd

Decision Rules for an initial CT-scan in patients arriving to Emergency Department (ED) and presenting a mild traumatic brain injury could be optimized by the use of an objective parameter easily and rapidly measured. This may be the place for serum biomarkers providing a quick and accurate assessment. BioMérieux has now developed an automated assay for the measurement of serum Glial Fibrillary Acidic Protein (GFAP) and Ubiquitin C-terminal Hydrolase (UCH-L1), the VIDAS® TBI assay to fill out this unmet needs. The goal of the herein study is to generate real-world data and evidences to support the VIDAS® TBI performances.
