NCT03439254
The primary objective of this study is to evaluate whether obeticholic acid (OCA; INT-747) can lead to histological improvement in fibrosis with no worsening of NASH in adults with compensated cirrhosis due to NASH.
NCT04125043
This study is designed to investigate the sensitivity and specificity of the Red Reflex Test (RRT), with and without dilation, for early detection of ocular abnormalities in children and newborns. The RRT functions by shining a light from an ophthalmoscope into a participant's eye and noting the presence or absence of a red glow. Despite its use in pediatric clinics for years, this test at times fails to detect significant ocular diseases, especially located in the back of the eye, threatening visual development in this population. Therefore, the investigators aim to quantify the utility of this test as a tool for screening by comparing these findings on RRT with those of retinal photography. The investigators hypothesize that the sensitivity and specificity of the RRT will be sufficient for detecting anterior segment pathology but will be insufficient for detecting posterior segment pathology with or without dilation.
NCT03434379
This study will evaluate the efficacy and safety of atezolizumab in combination with bevacizumab compared with sorafenib in participants with locally advanced or metastatic Hepatocellular Carcinoma (HCC) who have received no prior systemic treatment.
NCT04021290
The aim of this study is to determine if virologically suppressed Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) Type 1 infected adults on a current antiretroviral regimen (CAR) (including 2 nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors \[NRTIs\] plus a third agent) remain suppressed upon switching to dolutegravir/lamivudine (DTG/3TC) fixed dose combination (FDC). The main objective of the study is to demonstrate the non-inferior antiviral activity of switching to DTG/3TC FDC once daily compared to continuation of CAR over 48 weeks in virologically suppressed adults living with HIV-1. The study will also evaluate information regarding the safety and health related quality of life. The study will include Screening Phase (up to 28 days), a Randomization Phase (up to Week 52) and a Continuation Phase (post Week 52). The Continuation Phase is not applicable for participants in Sweden and Denmark. Approximately 490 participants will be randomized in 1:1 ratio to receive DTG/3TC FDC once daily for up to 52 weeks or continue their CAR for 52 weeks. Participants in the DTG/3TC FDC arm who successfully complete up to 52 weeks of treatment will have the opportunity to continue receiving DTG/3TC FDC once daily in Continuation Phase.
NCT02941926
The purpose of this study is to collect additional safety and efficacy data for the combination of ribociclib + letrozole in men and pre/postmenopausal women with HR+HER2- advanced breast cancer and no prior hormonal treatment for advanced disease..
NCT06095804
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the feasibility and performance of the Percutaneous Ultrasound Jejunostomy (PUJ) procedure that utilizes a novel device (PUMA-J System) in conjunction with widely available ultrasound technology and endoscopic guidance. The procedure will be performed in up to 10 eligible subjects. Patients will be followed for 2 days following performance of PUJ to assess for potential complications.
NCT03561454
Single arm, prospective, multi-center, non-randomized study of subjects treated with single fraction, intra-operative radiation therapy at the time of lumpectomy for early stage breast cancer. To assess the rate of ipsilateral breast tumor recurrence in subjects treated with the Xoft Axxent Electronic Brachytherapy System when used for single-fraction, intra-operative radiation therapy treatment of early stage breast cancer when compared to whole breast irradiation (WBI) at 5 years of follow-up. The results of this single arm study will be compared to whole breast irradiation (WBI).
NCT03262935
The purpose of this study is to demonstrate that SYD985 \[(vic-)trastuzumab duocarmazine\] is superior to physician's choice in prolonging progression free survival.
NCT03956277
This is a single-center, non-randomized, non-blinded feasibility study to evaluate the performance, safety and tolerability of the Percutaneous Ultrasound Gastrostomy (PUG) procedure that utilizes a novel device in conjunction with widely available ultrasound technology. The procedure will be performed in 40eligible subjects. Patients will be followed for 2 days following performance of PUG to assess for potential complications. If the patient remains hospitalized they will be assessed through Day30 for potential complications.
NCT03277313
The purpose of the study is to acquire additional data on efficacy, safety, tolerability, immunogenicity, pharmacokinetic (PK) and other parameters of HYQVIA in pediatric (age ≥ 2 to \<16 years) participants with primary immunodeficiency disease (PIDD).
NCT02057718
This is an open label study in children with Progressive Familial Intrahepatic Cholestasis (PFIC) designed to evaluate the safety and efficacy of LUM001, also known as Maralixibat (MRX). Efficacy will be assessed by evaluating the effect of LUM001 on pruritus and the biochemical markers of pruritus associated with PFIC.
NCT03654976
The trial aims to demonstrate efficacy of the House Dust Mite SLIT-tablet versus placebo as add-on treatment in children and adolescents (5-17 years) with House Dust Mite allergic asthma based on clinically relevant asthma worsening.
NCT05098509
This was a study investigating RAD011 in participants diagnosed with Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS). The primary objective of the Phase 2 part of this study was to assess the safety and tolerability of multiple dose levels of RAD011 in order to select 1 or 2 dose level(s) for further evaluation in the Phase 3 part of the study. In Phase 3, the primary objective was to assess the effect of RAD011 on hyperphagia-related behavior in participants with PWS.
NCT02399085
This is a Phase II, Single-Arm, Open-Label, Multicentre Study to Evaluate the Safety and Efficacy of Lenalidomide Combined with MOR00208 in Participants with Relapsed or Refractory Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma (R-R DLBCL).
NCT03781167
The purpose of this study was to assess the safety and tolerability of ABBV-951 (Foslevodopa/Foscarbidopa) in participants with Parkinson's disease (PD). This was a single-arm study with preplanned analyses conducted by dose subgroup (Low Dose or High Dose) based on the modal total daily dose (most frequent dose) over the treatment period.
NCT06056323
This is a phase I/II, open-label, multicenter study . During the study, subjects will be evaluated for safety, toxicity, tolerability, PK/PD, immunogenicity, biomarkers, and antitumor activity of HB0045. The phase I study will enroll up to 54 subjects with advanced solid tumors who have progressed on or after standard of care therapy and for whom there is no further treatment available that in the judgement of the patient's physician would be beneficial. One cycle is defined as 21 days.
