NCT01200589
This was a multi-center, parallel, active comparator controlled, open-label, randomized (1:1) phase III study of single agent ofatumumab compared to single agent rituximab in subjects with rituximab-sensitive indolent B-cell non hodgkin lymphoma that has relapsed at least 6 months after completing treatment with single agent rituximab or a rituximab-containing regimen. Subjects must have attained a Complete Response or Partial Response to their last prior rituximab containing therapy lasting at least six months beyond the end of rituximab therapy. Subjects were to receive four weekly doses of single agent ofatumumab (1000 mg) or rituximab (375 mg/m2), followed by ofatumumab (1000 mg) or rituximab (375 mg/m2) every 2 months for four additional doses. Therefore, subjects were to receive a total of eight doses of anti-CD20 antibody over 9 months. Subjects were evaluated for response after completion of the first four doses of therapy, after six doses of therapy, and after completion of study therapy. Subjects were to be followed until the end of the designated follow-up period (total study duration of 200 weeks) or until they meet the withdrawal criteria. The primary objective of the study OMB157D 2303 was to demonstrate the efficacy of Arzerra based on the primary endpoint (Progression-free survival (PFS) as assessed by the IRC) in patients with Indolent B-cell Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma Relapsed After Rituximab-Containing Regimen. The Independent Data Monitoring Committee (IDMC) met on November 22, 2015 and recommended the termination of the study due to futility (cut-off date = 12Jun2015). The IDMC reviewed analyses results for progression free survival (PFS), overall response rate (ORR), and overall survival (OS). Novartis accepted this recommendation and the study was closed. Final analysis was performed (cut-off date =19 Dec 2016). As the study was stopped for futility, the primary objective was not met and some secondary endpoints, supportive of primary objective (Duration of Response (DOR), time to next therapy, and pharmacokinetics) were removed as secondary end points.
NCT01295489
This research trial studies biomarkers in patients with previously untreated invasive ovarian epithelial, fallopian tube, or primary peritoneal cancer. Studying samples of tumor tissue, peritoneal cavity fluid, and blood from patients receiving chemotherapy directly into the abdominal cavity (intraperitoneal) may help doctors learn more about the effects of intraperitoneal chemotherapy on cells. It may also help doctors identify and learn more about biomarkers related to cancer.
NCT00666588
This phase II trial is studying the side effects and best dose of bortezomib and to see how well it works when given together with combination chemotherapy in treating younger patients with recurrent, refractory, or secondary acute myeloid leukemia (AML). Bortezomib may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as idarubicin, cytarabine, and etoposide, work in different ways to stop the growth of cancer cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. Giving more than one drug (combination chemotherapy) together with bortezomib may kill more cancer cells

Secondary Outcomes: Incidence and frequency of severe hypoglycemia; Measure of glycemic variability, Area Under the Curve (AUC); Quality of Life; and Health Economic Outcomes (MRU)
NCT02745054
The goal of SOAR is to characterize the clinical and economic impact of clinicians' responses to major bleeding complications and pre-procedural concerns for bleeding risk in patients treated with oral anticoagulants (warfarin, anti-Xa orals, and anti-thrombin (IIa) orals) who present to the ED or in the hospital with acute illness or injury, with the eventual aim of informing the development of improved approaches to the management of OACs in the ED.
NCT02098967
This open label, Phase I study of RO6839921 is a dose-escalation study with two arms. Prior to investigations in either arm, patients in a single cohort, Cohort 0, will receive non-escalating, intravenous (IV) doses of RO6839921 daily on Days 1-5 of a 28-day cycle. Interim PK and safety data from this cohort will be evaluated before initiating dose-escalation. In arm A, RO6839921 will be given to patients with advanced solid tumor malignancies. In Arm B, RO6839921 will be given to patients with relapsed/refractory acute myeloid leukemia (AML). The arms will escalate independently. Escalation will begin in solid tumor patients (Arm A) in single patient cohorts, using a new Continual Reassessment Method (n-CRM). Escalation for AML patients will be initiated at or below the dose level that causes \>/= Grade 2 hematologic side effects in Arm A. Escalation in AML patients will follow a rolling 6 design. In both arms, RO6839921 will be administered by IV infusion on Days 1-5 of 28-day cycles. There will be no intrapatient dose escalation. All patients may be treated until disease progression/relapse or unacceptable toxicity.

NCT01890421
Participants being evaluated for suspected or known Coronary artery Disease (CAD) based on signs and/or symptoms, will be invited to participate in the study. The duration for a participant in the study may range from 2 days to 4-6 weeks. One to four visits to the study doctor will be required. This study will investigate the diagnostic results of gadobutrol-enhanced Cardiac Magnetic Resonance Imaging (CMRI) images regarding the detection (sensitivity) and exclusion (specificity) of coronary artery disease utilizing a uniform image acquisition software. The CMR images will be tested either against the results from routine clinical Coronary Angiography (CA) or those from Computed Tomography Angiography (CTA), which is used as the standard of reference. The CA/CTA may have been performed up to 4 weeks prior to enrollment or be scheduled up to 4/6 weeks after the study. CMRI and CA/CTA images will be collected for an independent image review (blinded read).
NCT01553058
The purpose of this study is to assess the effect of adalimumab (Humira), when compared to NB-UVB (narrow-band ultraviolet B) phototherapy or placebo (an inactive substance that may resemble an active substance but has no medical value) injection. The study will compare the effects of each on systemic inflammation and cardiovascular disease risk factors in subjects diagnosed with moderate to severe psoriasis. This study will look for systemic vascular inflammation in subjects with a test called FDG-PET/CT (Fluorodeoxyglucose-positron emission tomography/computed tomography). The study will also look for cardio metabolic (heart disease and metabolic factors such as diabetes) identifiers in the blood. A blood sample will be taken that will look for these markers identifying high cholesterol, cholesterol efflux function (the ability of cholesterol to move in the body), metabolic factors, and inflammation. This study will also assess the effect of adalimumab (Humira), when compared to NB-UVB phototherapy or placebo injection on psoriasis activity and severity. The study will also compare the safety of adalimumab (Humira) to NB-UVB phototherapy or placebo injection. This study will also evaluate subjects' reported outcomes through a questionnaire that will assess quality-of-life in subjects living with psoriasis.
