The primary objective of the study is to evaluate the efficacy of TEV-53275 administered subcutaneously (sc) in adult participants with persistent asthma and an eosinophilic phenotype compared to placebo. A secondary objective is to evaluate the efficacy of TEV-53275 compared to placebo assessed by lung function, asthma symptoms, rescue medication use, and quality of life measures. Another secondary objective is to evaluate the safety and tolerability of TEV-53275 administered sc in adult participants with persistent asthma and an eosinophilic phenotype compared with placebo, and lastly, to evaluate the immunogenicity of TEV-53275 administered sc in adult participants with persistent asthma and an eosinophilic phenotype.

The goal of this clinical research study is to find the highest tolerable dose of immune cells called natural killer (NK) cells that can be given with chemotherapy to patients with CLL. Researchers want to learn if adding NK cells will be effective in treating the disease. The safety of this will also be studied. NK cells may kill cancer cells that remain in your body after your last chemotherapy treatment. The NK cells will be separated from umbilical cord blood. The device used in the laboratory to separate the NK cells is called a CliniMACS. These separated NK cells will then be grown in the lab to increase the number of NK cells that can be given to you by vein. This is an investigational study. Rituximab, fludarabine, and cyclophosphamide are FDA approved and commercially available for the treatment of CLL. Cytarabine, filgrastim, and lenalidomide are FDA approved and commercially available for the treatment of other types of cancer. The use of cytarabine, filgrastim, and lenalidomide for the treatment of CLL is investigational. The use of NK cells is investigational. The NK cell process is not FDA approved or commercially available. It is currently being used for research purposes only. Up to 44 patients will take part in this study. All will be enrolled at MD Anderson.

The goal of this clinical research study is to learn if a cordotomy reduces pain in patients with unmanageable cancer pain. A cordotomy is a procedure, guided by computed tomography (CT) scans, that is performed on the spinal cord and is designed to reduce pain transmission.

This randomized phase III trial is studying combination chemotherapy followed by surgery and two different combination chemotherapy regimens with or without PEG-interferon alfa-2b to compare how well they work in treating patients with osteosarcoma. Drugs used in chemotherapy work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. Giving more than one drug (combination chemotherapy) may kill more tumor cells. Biological therapies, such as PEG-interferon alfa-2b, may interfere with the growth of tumor cells. Giving combination chemotherapy before surgery may shrink the tumor so it can be removed. Giving combination chemotherapy together with PEG-interferon alfa-2b after surgery may kill any remaining tumor cells. It is not yet known whether giving combination therapy together with PEG-interferon alfa-2b is more effective than two different combination chemotherapy regimens alone after surgery in treating osteosarcoma.

This is a Phase 2, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, multicenter, multinational, dose-finding study evaluating the efficacy of three treatment doses of CC-90001 compared with placebo, in Non-alcoholic Steatohepatitis (NASH) participants with Stage 2, Stage 3 liver fibrosis. This study is designed to assess response to treatment on measures of fibrosis and other efficacy parameters. It will also assess dose response and overall safety.

This phase II trial studies how well second mitochondrial-derived activator of caspases (SMAC) mimetic LCL161 (LCL161) works in treating patients with primary myelofibrosis, post-polycythemia vera myelofibrosis, or post-essential thrombocytosis myelofibrosis. SMAC mimetic LCL161 may help control the growth of abnormal cells by promoting apoptosis (programmed cell death).

The goal of this clinical research study is to find the highest tolerable dose of the combination of Votrient (pazopanib) and Afinitor (everolimus) that can be given to patients with advanced cancer. The safety of these drugs will also be studied. Pazopanib is designed to block different receptors in the cancer cells that ultimately are responsible for the growth of the tumor and its blood vessels. Everolimus is designed to block a protein called mTOR inside the cancer cells, which is also involved in cancer growth.

This is a Phase 1b, open-label, multicenter study evaluating the safety and tolerability of ABT-199 in combination with rituximab in up to 50 subjects with Relapsed Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia and Small Lymphocytic Lymphoma. The primary objectives of this study are to assess the safety profile, to determine the maximum tolerated dose and establish the Recommended Phase Two Dose of ABT-199 when administered in combination with rituximab. The dose escalation portion of the study will include approximately 30 subjects. Once the recommended phase two dose and schedule have been determined, up to 20 additional subjects will be enrolled in an expanded safety portion of the study. Subjects who meet criteria for CR, CRi, or MRD-negative PR during the study may discontinue ABT 199. If disease progression occurs, as defined by iwCLL NCI/WG criteria for tumor response, or MRD progression, subjects may re-initiate ABT-199.
