NCT06743308
This clinical trial compares the use of a new screening tool designed to evaluate patients' information needs, preferences, and illness understanding to the usual care to improve illness understanding in patients with lung cancer that has spread from where it first started (primary site) to other places in the body (metastatic) or for which no curative treatment is currently available (incurable). Goal concordant care is a model of care that aligns a patient's medical care with their values, preferences, and goals. Often, patients may not fully understand their illness and prognosis, but this information is important so that they can make fully informed decisions regarding their care that are consistent with their values, preferences, and goals. Completing the Information Needs, Preferences, and Understanding Trial (INPUT) screening tool may allow for more frequent and regular discussions regarding disease status and treatment goals, ultimately resulting in improved patient illness understanding and goal concordant care for patients with metastatic or incurable lung cancer.
NCT06388109
The goal of this clinical trial is to learn if the Positive Peers mobile app intervention increases rates of viral suppression in young (13-34 y/o) persons with HIV. Does use of the Positive Peers app improve viral suppression among young minority persons with HIV? What user characteristics are associated with a) viral suppression, b) retention in care, and c) perceived HIV-related stigma? Participants will: * download the mobile app onto their personal smartphone * Use the mobile app as they find useful * complete online surveys at enrollment, 3 mo, 6, mo, 9 mo and 12 months.

VERIFY will create the first multicenter, large-scale, prospective dataset of clinical, transmagnetic stimulation (TMS), and MRI measures in the acute stroke time window.
NCT04586959
This is a prospective, multi-center, randomized non-inferiority phase III study to evaluate if patients undergoing a minimally invasive surgery for early stage uterine cancer have cancer cells in the fluid that is obtained at the time of their surgery when a uterine manipulator is placed versus patients who do not have a uterine manipulator placed.
NCT01148550
The specific aims of this study are (1) to determine the clinical phenotypes and natural history of hepatic RC and FAO disorders, (2) to determine the correlation between genotype and phenotype, (3) to determine if circulating biomarkers reflect diagnosis and predict liver disease progression and survival with the native liver, (4) to determine the clinical outcome of these disorders following liver transplantation, and (5) to develop a repository of serum, plasma, urine, tissue and DNA specimens that will be used in ancillary studies. To accomplish these aims, the ChiLDReN investigators at clinical sites (currently 9 sites) will prospectively collect defined data and specimens in a uniform fashion at fixed intervals in a relatively large number of subjects. Clinical information collected from subjects and their parents will enhance the potential for meaningful research in these disorders. A biobank of previously collected subject specimens and DNA samples will be established for use in ancillary studies to be performed in addition to this study.
NCT00345553
Little is known about the factors that cause biliary atresia nor the factors that influence disease progression. The purpose of this study is to collect the pertinent clinical information, genetic material and body fluid samples to enable investigators to address the following aims: To identify the gene or genes implicated in the etiology of BA; To characterize the natural history of the older, non-transplanted child with BA.
NCT06176768
The main purpose of this study is to determine the efficacy and safety of LY3972406 in adult participants with moderate-to-severe plaque psoriasis.
NCT06699212
The goal of this clinical trial is to learn if ASP-1929 photoimmunotherapy (PIT) in combination with pembrolizumab works to treat recurrent squamous cell cancer of the head and neck (HNSCC) with no distant metastases. It will also learn about the safety of ASP-1929 PIT in combination with pembrolizumab. Researchers will compare ASP-1929 PIT in combination with pembrolizumab to pembrolizumab alone or pembrolizumab plus chemotherapy (carboplatin or cisplatin, plus 5-fluorouracil or paclitaxel or docetaxel) according to physician's choice (control arm). The overall primary study hypothesis being tested is whether ASP-1929 PIT plus pembrolizumab combination treatment improves the overall survival (OS) of the population defined by the inclusion/exclusion criteria over the control arm.
NCT01552434
This phase I trial studies the side effects and best dose of bevacizumab and temsirolimus alone or in combination with valproic acid or cetuximab in treating patients with a malignancy that has spread to other places in the body or other disease that is not cancerous. Immunotherapy with bevacizumab and cetuximab, may induce changes in body's immune system and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Temsirolimus may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as valproic acid, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. It is not yet known whether bevacizumab and temsirolimus work better when given alone or with valproic acid or cetuximab in treating patients with a malignancy or other disease that is not cancerous.
NCT02942004
The purpose of this study was to determine if SAGE-547 Injection infused intravenously at up to 90 micrograms per kilogram per hour (μg/kg/h) for 60 hours reduces depressive symptoms in participants with severe postpartum depression (PPD) compared to placebo injection as assessed by the change from baseline in Hamilton Rating Scale for Depression (HAM-D) total score.
NCT07216521
This multicenter retrospective observational cohort study seeks to: 1. Classify surgical intent in patients with resected Intraductal Papillary Mucinous Neoplasms (IPMN) and quantify the proportion of IPMN-associated cancers diagnosed as overt pancreatic cancer with incidental IPMN association on pathology. 2. Compare clinicopathologic features and outcomes between surveillance-detected and incidentally detected IPMN-derived pancreatic cancers. 3. Revise and redefine risk features limited to patients undergoing surgery for IPMN-related indications, identifying optimal predictors of malignant IPMN (high-grade dysplasia or invasive cancer).
NCT04989556
This trial investigates technology-enhanced palliative care for patients in phase I trials with cancer that has spread to other places in the body (advanced). The goal of this study is to learn if the technology-enhanced palliative care symptom-monitoring program, when combined with in-person clinic visits and standard remote care visits (by phone or video call), helps increase quality of life and care for patients with advanced cancer participating in phase 1 immunotherapy trials.
NCT06742086
The objective of this study is to assess the bioavailability (BA) of venetoclax new high drug load hot melt extrusion-03 (HME-03) tablet formulation at two different tablet strengths relative to the commercial venetoclax tablet formulation under high-fat conditions in healthy female volunteers. Additionally, this study will assess the potential food effect on the BA of the venetoclax HME-03 tablet at the highest dosage strength.
NCT03500328
FDA-approved multiple sclerosis (MS) disease-modifying therapies (DMTs) target the relapsing phase of MS but have minimal impact once the progressive phase has begun. It is unclear if, in the relapsing phase, there is an advantage of early aggressive therapy with respect to preventing long-term disability. The infectious risks and other complications associated with higher-efficacy treatments highlight the need to quantify their effectiveness in preventing disability. The TRaditional versus Early Aggressive Therapy for MS (TREAT-MS) trial is a pragmatic, randomized controlled trial that has two primary aims: 1) to evaluate, jointly and independently among patients deemed at higher risk vs. lower risk for disability accumulation, whether an "early aggressive" therapy approach, versus starting with a traditional, first-line therapy, influences the intermediate-term risk of disability, and 2) to evaluate if, among patients deemed at lower risk for disability who start on first-line MS therapies but experience breakthrough disease, those who switch to a higher-efficacy versus a new first-line therapy have different intermediate-term risk of disability.
