NCT00719303
This randomized phase III trial studies whether changes in diet and physical activity can increase the length of survival without the return of cancer (progression-free survival) compared with usual care in patients with previously treated stage II, III, or IV ovarian, fallopian tube, or primary peritoneal cancer. A healthy diet and physical activity program and counseling may help patients make healthier lifestyle choices. It is not yet known whether changes in diet and exercise may help increase progression-free survival in patients with previously treated cancer.
NCT01336023
This trial is conducted globally. The aim of this trial is to compare the efficacy and safety of insulin degludec/liraglutide (IDegLira) versus insulin degludec (IDeg) and liraglutide (Lira) in subjects with type 2 diabetes. Subjects are to continue their pre-trial treatment with metformin or metformin + pioglitazone throughout the entire trial.
NCT02006641
To establish efficacy of Idalopirdine as adjunctive therapy to donepezil for symptomatic treatment of patients with mild-to-moderate Alzheimer's disease (AD).
NCT00931528
RATIONALE: Tadalafil may help prevent erectile dysfunction (ED) in patients with prostate cancer that has been treated with radiation therapy. It is not yet known whether tadalafil is more effective than a placebo in preventing erectile dysfunction. PURPOSE: This randomized phase III trial is studying tadalafil to see how well it works compared with a placebo in preventing erectile dysfunction in patients with prostate cancer treated with radiation therapy.
NCT01380197
The pathophysiology of sickle cell disease (SCD) manifestations, are complex with interactions of intracellular hemoglobin, membrane and endothelial activation but the hallmark remains recurrent and painful vaso-occlusive episodes (VOC). These painful episodes are thought to result from ischemia caused when small blood vessels are occluded by misshapen, inflexible erythrocytes. Painful episodes are the most common cause of hospitalization, morbidity, and impairment for SCD patients. There is no therapy that completely prevents or directly aborts painful events for all patients. Consequently, treatment for acute VOC is primarily supportive using hydration and medicinal pain control. Every pain medication has the potential to relieve pain but is associated with significant limitations and side effects. The primary hypothesis to be tested in this double blind, randomized controlled trial is that Nalbuphine is equivalent to morphine for pain control and patients will suffer fewer episodes of acute chest syndrome. The investigators also expect subjects will report fewer side effects from respiratory depression, abdominal distention from reduced peristalsis, reduced histamine release causing pruritis and still be provided adequate pain control. Further hypotheses to be tested is ability to recruit patient participants while being treated in the Emergency Department and that continuous infusion of Nalbuphine with accompanying patient controlled analgesia (PCA) is safe and effective in controlling pain, requiring less total opiates consumption, while decreasing length of hospitalization.
NCT00852709
This is a Phase I study designed to determine the MTD and assess the toxicity associated with clofarabine followed by fractionated cyclophosphamide in patients \> 1 year of age or \< 21 years of age with relapsed or refractory acute leukemias. There will be 25 to 35 patients enrolled. Cohorts of 3 to 6 patients each will receive escalated doses of clofarabine followed by fractionated cyclophosphamide until the MTD is reached. There will be no intra-patient dose escalation. Single-agent cyclophosphamide will be administered by 2-hour IVI on Day 0 of cycle 1. On Days 1, 2, and 3 and Days 8, 9, and 10 clofarabine will be administered by IVI 2 hours before each dose of cyclophosphamide (see the treatment schema below). A cycle is defined as 28 days.
NCT00698230
Determine the effect of treatment with INCB013739 administered as an 'add-on' to metformin therapy in type 2 diabetic subjects on safety and tolerability and glycemic control.
NCT01323621
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the 24-hour spirometry effect (FEV1) of FF/VI 100/25mcg once daily compared with Fluticasone Propionate/Salmeterol 250/50mcg twice daily over a 12-week treatment period in subjects with COPD.
NCT01018186
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the long-term safety of fluticasone furoate/GW642444
NCT02949388
This study is designed as a randomized, double blind, parallel group, placebo-controlled trial to study the efficacy and safety of two oral doses of Prurisol administered twice daily for twelve weeks to subjects with moderate to severe chronic plaque psoriasis.
NCT01165138
The purpose of the study is to compare the efficacy and safety of fluticasone furoate/vilanterol (GW642444) inhalation powder and fluticasone furoate inhalation powder both administered once daily in adolescent and adult subjects 12 years of age and older with persistent bronchial asthma over a 12 week treatment period.
NCT01032239
To demonstrate that Intrathecal Baclofen (ITB) Therapy, compared to Best Medical Treatment (BMT), has superior efficacy in the treatment of severe spasticity in adult post-stroke patients with generalized spastic hypertonia who have not reached their therapy goal with other treatment interventions assessed by a decrease in the average Ashworth Scale (AS) score in the lower extremities.
NCT01806597
Purpose of the study was to demonstrate the efficacy of secukinumab versus placebo on palmoplantar psoriasis and to assess the long term efficacy, safety and tolerability of secukinumab.
NCT03423836
The principal objective was to conduct a 5 year; multi-center, observational follow-up study enrolling infants born to mothers who participated in the MOTOR clinical trial to determine the effects of maternal periodontal therapy during pregnancy on neonatal morbidity and mortality and whether this will result in lower incidence of functional neurological impairment.
NCT02357901
This is a randomized, double-blind, placebo controlled, multicenter study in male and female participants who are seeking treatment for opioid use disorder.
NCT02525094
To assess the efficacy and safety of MEDI9929 in adult subjects with Atopic Dermatitis
NCT03021291
This study is designed to assess the effect of Gelesis100 on body weight after an additional exposure of 24 weeks in subjects who completed the 24-week treatment period, and had at least 3% weight loss, in the Gelesis Loss Of Weight GLOW, NCT02307279) study.
NCT00949715
The purpose of the Optimize RV Follow-Up study is to determine the long-term effect of selective site pacing. Selective site pacing refers to which area of the right ventricle the lead is placed. The goal of selective site pacing is to improve how the heart contracts when paced.

Part C - the objective of Part C is to determine a recommended Phase 2 dose of LY2801653 that may be safely given to participants with HNSCC when taken with standard doses of cetuximab Part D - the objective of Part D is to determine a recommended Phase 2 dose of LY2801653 that may be safely given to participants with cholangiocarcinoma when taken with a standard dose of cisplatin. Part E - the objective of Part E is to determine a recommended Phase 2 dose of LY2801653 that may be safely given to participants with cholangiocarcinoma when taken with gemcitabine plus cisplatin. Part F - the objective of Part F is to determine a recommended Phase 2 dose of LY2801653 that may be safely given to participants with gastric cancer when taken with ramucirumab.
