NCT01168973
The purpose of the study is to compare the survival of participants who receive chemotherapy and ramucirumab versus chemotherapy alone as second line treatment for NSCLC after prior first line platinum-based chemotherapy.
NCT00727194
The purpose of this study is to determine whether eculizumab is safe and effective in the treatment of patients with generalized myasthenia gravis despite treatment with various immunosuppressants, such as prednisone, methotrexate, Cellcept, cyclosporine, and cyclophosphamide, that are currently available.
NCT01281293
Vagus Nerve Stimulation (VNS) Therapy has been approved marked for the treatment of epilepsy since 1994. This post-market study is designed to follow the clinical course and outcomes for patients with refractory seizures treated with adjunctive VNS Therapy. Seizure frequency, seizure severity, side effects burden, depressive symptoms, global impressions, and health care utilization will be evaluated. The results of this study will provide data to guide physicians and their patients in the use of VNS Therapy for patients with refractory seizures who have failed initial trials of anti-epileptic drug (AED) therapy. The data being collected is not for the purposes of confirmatory assessment.
NCT01107457
The primary purpose for this study is to help answer the following research questions * The safety of ixekizumab (LY2439821) and any side effects that might be associated with it. * Whether ixekizumab can help participants with Psoriasis. * How much ixekizumab should be given to participants.
NCT01490866
This is a non-randomized, open-label, Phase II trial investigating axitinib as a single-agent maintenance therapy following standard first-line FOLFOX/bevacizumab therapy for patients with mCRC.
NCT01980095
The "test and treat" strategy for treating dyspeptic patients who are H. pylori positive is rapidly becoming the standard of care. This study will test the effectiveness of RHB-105, a new triple therapy to treat H. pylori infection in dyspeptic patients.
NCT03477903
The purpose of this study is to assess the treatment effect of intravenous TAK-954 in improving the average daily protein adequacy received through enteral nutrition in critically-ill participants developing EFI.
NCT02288559
This multicenter, randomized, single-masked, sham injection-controlled study will investigate the exposure-response and safety of lampalizumab administered intravitreally every 2 weeks (Q2W) or every 4 weeks (Q4W) for 24 weeks in participants with geographic atrophy (GA) secondary to age-related macular degeneration (AMD). A safety run-in assessment will be conducted prior to initiating enrollment in the randomized study.
NCT02402933
Up to fifty (50) children and adolescents with type 1 diabetes (T1D) aged 4 to ˂18 years at time of enrolment will be selected for inclusion in the study. The target is to obtain treatment response and user-experience data following use of Nasal Glucagon (LY900018) in treating episodes of hypoglycemia.
NCT02428595
Multi-center, prospective, within-subject control, open label clinical trial to evaluate the durability of the safety and effectiveness of the Eclipse™ System after 3 and 12 months of use.
NCT02555722
This study is a masked, multi-center, daily wear, monthly replacement, bilateral, randomized, lens blocked (subjects remain in the same lens brand throughout the study) concurrent control study enrolling up to 90 subjects with a study duration of approximately three months. Subjects will be randomized into the study contact lenses in a two to one (2:1) ratio of fanfilcon A lens (test) to enfilcon A lens (control).
NCT03435172
The primary objective of the protocol is to evaluate preliminary safety and feasibility of ADRCs via intravenous delivery in the treatment of deep partial and full thickness thermal wounds.
NCT00003302
RATIONALE: New imaging procedures, such as MRI, may improve the ability to detect breast tumors. PURPOSE: Diagnostic study to determine the value of MRI in detecting breast tumors in women who have had suspicious mammographic or clinical examinations.
NCT00748540
The purpose of this investigation is to collect feasibility data to assess the safety and efficacy of the Vibrant Soundbridge (VSB), a medical device designed to provide benefit in aided hearing thresholds, speech perception and sound quality to certain individuals with hearing loss with minimal changes in residual hearing. The VSB is currently indicated for adults with moderate-to-severe sensorineural hearing loss. Under the present investigation, adults with conductive and mixed hearing losses who are not successful users of traditional amplification will be assessed.
NCT00003736
RATIONALE: Screening tests may help doctors detect cancer cells early and plan more effective treatment for breast cancer. Diagnostic procedures such as MRI may improve the ability to detect breast cancer. PURPOSE: Screening and diagnostic trial to study the effectiveness of MRI scans in women who are at high risk for developing breast cancer.
NCT01964924
This phase II trial studies how well trametinib and v-akt murine thymoma viral oncogene homolog 1 (Akt) inhibitor GSK2141795 work in treating patients with triple-negative breast cancer (breast cancer cells that do not have estrogen receptors, progesterone receptors, or large amounts of human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 \[HER2/neu\] protein) that has spread to other places in the body. Trametinib and Akt inhibitor GSK2141795 may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth.
