NCT03828617
This is a Phase 3, randomized, double-blind study with a 4-arm parallel design. Adults 18 through 49 years of age with no history of pneumococcal vaccination will be randomized in a 2:2:2:1 ratio to receive a single dose of: 20vPnC Lot 1; 20vPnC Lot 2; 20vPnC Lot 3; or 13vPnC.
NCT03028441
This study is a randomized, double-blinded, Phase 1, placebo- controlled, and dose comparison trial to evaluate the safety, immunogenicity and schedule of MV-CHIK. Two dosage levels and 3 immunization schedules will be evaluated. This study will enroll up to 180 healthy subjects aged 18 to 45 years.Study duration is approximately 22 months. Subject participation duration is approximately 8-13 months. The primary objectives are to evaluate the safety and tolerability of 5 x 10\^4 TCID50 and 5 x 10\^5 TCID50 MV-CHIK and placebo following two consecutive intramuscular injections and to assess the CHIKV serum plaque reduction neutralization test (PRNT50) antibody responses to 5 x 10\^4 TCID50, 5 x 10\^5 TCID50 of MV-CHIK or placebo on day 29 following the first dose.
NCT03842293
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the clinical validity of a set of PROMIS pediatric person-reported outcome measures in patients with chronic kidney disease. The evaluation includes longitudinal assessments of how measures change in association with clinical changes.
NCT02847650
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy, safety and tolerability of PF-06649751 in Parkinson's disease patients at early stage of the disease.
NCT02625623
The purpose of this study was to demonstrate superiority of treatment with avelumab plus best supportive care (BSC) versus physician's choice (chosen from a pre-specified list of therapeutic options) plus BSC.
NCT01778634
The purpose of this study is to determine whether intravenous azithromycin is effective in eradicating Ureaplasma respiratory tract infection in preterm infants born at 24 to 28 weeks gestation.
NCT01185275
Clinical response, as defined by improvement in asthma quality of life, to bronchial thermoplasty in patients with severe refractory asthma can be predicted through the use of clinical, physiologic, biologic and imaging markers.
NCT00269828
This is a randomized, open-label, multinational, phase III study in women with histologically- or cytologically-confirmed advanced NSCLC who are chemotherapy naïve and have PS 2. Study drug will be administered on day 1 of each 21 day cycle
NCT01731600
This trial is conducted globally. The aim of the trial is to investigate safety, efficacy and pharmacokinetics (the exposure of the trial drug in the body) of NNC 0129-0000-1003 (N8-GP) in children with severe haemophilia A who have undergone treatment with previous factor VIII (FVIII) products.
NCT02900716
This study will evaluate the safety, antitumor activity and preliminary pharmacokinetics of an investigational drug product, DTRMWXHS-12, in patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia or other B-cell lymphomas. DTRMWXHS-12 will be evaluated as a single agent, and in combination. This study will be conducted in two parts: phase Ia and Ib. Both parts will explore escalating doses of DTRMWXHS-12. The phase Ia study will evaluate DTRMWXHS-12 monotherapy. The phase Ib study will evaluate DTRMWXHS-12 combinations.
NCT01908751
The purpose of this study is to determine the impact of surgical fixation (cancellous screws versus sliding hip screws) and biologic intervention (Vitamin D versus placebo) on patient important outcomes.
NCT01583894
This study will collect pain-related information from chronic pain patients to gain an understanding of the prevalence of multi-site pain, and how it affects health outcomes like function, quality of life, depression, and anxiety.
NCT03565211
The purpose of the study is to assess the safety of Progesterone Vaginal Ring (PVR) in women undergoing fresh embryo transfer (ART).
NCT01494584
This is an open-label study to evaluate the pharmacokinetics, safety and tolerability of ezogabine/retigabine in subjects aged 12 years to less than 18 years with uncontrolled partial onset seizures or Lennos-Gastaut syndrome.
NCT02580552
Objectives of this clinical trial are to evaluate the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics and potential efficacy of the investigational drug, cobomarsen (MRG-106), in patients diagnosed with certain lymphomas and leukemias, including cutaneous T-cell lymphoma (CTCL) \[mycosis fungoides (MF) subtype\], chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) \[activated B-cell (ABC) subtype\], and adult T-cell leukemia/lymphoma (ATLL). Cobomarsen is an inhibitor of a molecule called miR-155 that is found at high levels in these types of cancers and may be important in promoting the growth and survival of the cancer cells. Participants in the clinical trial will receive weekly doses of cobomarsen administered by injection under the skin or into a vein, or by injection directly into cancerous lesions in the skin (for CTCL only). Blood samples will be collected to measure how cobomarsen is processed by the body, and other measurements will be performed to study how normal and cancerous cells of the immune system respond when exposed to cobomarsen.
NCT00940602
This was a randomized, double-blind trial to evaluate deferasirox vs placebo in patients with myelodysplastic syndromes (low/int-1 risk) and transfusional iron overload .The trial was conducted in 17 countries, started in 2010 and ended in 2018.
NCT01557400
Duchenne/Becker muscular dystrophy (DBMD) is a genetic disorder that develops in boys. It is caused by a mutation in the gene for dystrophin, a protein that is important for maintaining normal muscle structure and function. Loss of dystrophin causes muscle fragility that leads to weakness and loss of walking ability during childhood and teenage years. A specific type of mutation, called a nonsense (premature stop codon) mutation, is the cause of DBMD in approximately 10-15% of boys with the disease. Ataluren is an orally delivered, investigational drug that has the potential to overcome the effects of the nonsense mutation. This study comprises a Phase 3, open-label study of ataluren in participants with nmDBMD who previously received ataluren at an Investigator site in a prior PTC-sponsored clinical study. A separate open-label study (PTC124-GD-016-DMD; NCT01247207) is being conducted for nmDBMD participants who previously received ataluren at an Investigator site in the United States (US).
